Big Buck Brewery & Steak Hse

Really lovely place to walk into. Expectations sky rocket. I have been on a quest for the best Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) Dallas has to offer for a bit more than a year. I figure I’m due for my first massive heart attack any month now so why not live a little? There’s nothing like a really good CFS so, I’ve been on the trail.
This place came highly recommended and again, walking in you think you might have hit pay dirt. The service was absolutely top notch, the kid might have been a little too well mannered. After we got served, our waiter said he’d be back in 5 mins to check on us, make sure everything was OK. He was back in 4.5. Most of ‘em don’t come back till the plates need clearing. Really, best waiter I’ve had in a very long time.
The CFS had a wonderful flakey crust and was cooked just right. The only problem was, I wasn’t sure there was a steak in there. It had been pounded as thin as an Olson sister. The gravy was good, potatoes mashed with some chunk to ‘em, just like I like and the veggies were excellent. This could easily be 5 star if…
