Went there this past Saturday night. 1. I would give this $$ it is more like $$$. Pros: The Skybar is pretty cool. Very intimate and good place where you can have a converation. Very lovely. Resturant is decorated very nicely. And where you can actually conduct a conversation and hear others at the table. Good wine list Cons. Sorry this list is longer and why the 2 stars. Table was wobbly Even though resturant was at about ½ full, took quite a bit of time before the waiter came over to see if I wanted a cocktail. When he did arrive. Did introduce himself nor offer what the specials were. I ordered a wedge and the Filet duo(steak/shrimp) Entre was priced at $ 38 My brother ordered a wedge to. When they brough it he had split the wedge between both of us, even though we had not requested. We pointed this out, yet he did not attempt to corret. I had to ask if there were any specials. Waiter did not volunteer. My entre(keep in mind was $ 38 consisted of two small filet medallions(and I do mean small — about the size of a can of snuff) and 1 prawn. Yes, one. + Bake potatoe. Taste was bland and plate presentation, poor. I thought to myself that the Junior Master Chef’s could have done better. Mid way through the meal,(not with salad or before salad arrived) bread was delivered. Rarely saw the waiter. Never did stop by to see how our food was. Would I be back or recommend — no. Unless the friends I met there wanted to go again. Overall, move on there are much better places in Grapevine. Unless you just want to grap a cocktail at the Skybar.

We dined here for New Year’s Eve. Best New Year’s Eve dining experience we’ve EVER had. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and not rushed, and the wine excellent. Usually restaurants stick it to you on New Year’s with over-priced fixed-priced menus you are forced to order from, and you get rushed so they can fill turn over more seatings. That was not the case this night. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon(and for sure next New Year’s).

The Vineyard is the Grapevine Hiltons casual dinning room. I love having their buffet on the weekend. The veggies and fruit are always fresh and at the optimal ripeness. I had the continental buffet with a cup of oatmeal topped with brown sugar and mixed berries. I also had some sliced fruit, melons, cheese, cold cuts and almonds. The melons especially were very good. My husband had the hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and biskets with gravy. But I have to say, the coffee was particularly bitter this morning. La Madelines has a much better cup o coffee. All in all, it is a decent Sunday brunch. We signed up for a horseback ride afterwards thru their front desk. Nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
