While staying the night at the DFW Grand Hyatt to catch our morning flight to Costa Rica, hubby and I decided to grab a nightcap so we went down to the M Lounge, located on the lobby floor of the hotel. The bartenders, Meg(and the guy’s name escapes me) were incredibly attentive! I had the Albahaca, which is a drink that Meg herself created! Tasted like a margarita with basil in it … YUM! While we sat there, we visited with the bartenders, who reminded me of a married couple. cracking jokes with each other and bantering back and forth … very entertaining! So, when we came back from Costa Rica and stayed at the hotel again, we went back and had another drink(ok, I had 3). We will definitely be back when we stay here again!

This lounge is located in the Grand Hyatt at the DallasFW Airport. I was staying at the Hotel, but I arrived late and was hungry — there are really no other places to eat there on late hours, so I went down and checked out the menu here. Price is steep, but I left generally satisfied. It’s A-Ok(3 stars). Service was very good, to be expected at this price level. I sat at the bar, and servers/bartenders were very attentive. While the menu does not consist of full course meals, I ordered 3 items, 2 of which were 2 different Asian Satays(one Malaysian and another Thai)… I cannot recall the third item… they were each appetizer sized. M Lounge delivers as the food quality and taste of the items I had were excellent. I remember being relieved that it was good, since the price was steep, and I hate paying up and not getting the money’s worth … the service was very good and the ambiance excellent. If I am in DallasFW Hyatt again, I will definitely come down here again to enjoy those Satays and a drink.
