DFW Stereo

After doing Buisness with this JERK and getting ripped off not once but TWICE I am warning everyone to stay away from this place! He talked me into a Sony car stereo for my 2003 suburban that after 1 year the radio crapped out! So he upgraded me to another Sony stereo for another 300 dollars and yet again the stereo shit the bed! This jerk off refused to replace the radio and wanted to sell me yet another stereo! He is a rip off artist and claims to be a multi millionaire! Well if you have that kind of money with your so called Phd then why would you not suck up the replacement cost on two stereos that you obviously knew where pieces of shit! STAY AWAY FROM DFW STEREO ON NORTH WEST HIGHWAY IN GRAPEVINE!!!

I have used their services over the past several years for radar detector installations with no problems, however, my most recent visit changed my mind and I will never return. I had an axillary port installed and in the process, they managed to break the power cord to my back passenger window and vehemently denied it. When I arrived, curiously all 4 windows in the car were down and the person who did the work was obviously inebriated. I smelled the alcohol on his breath and he repeated the simple operation instructions for the axillary cord over and over which only confirmed my suspicion. Unhappy with this behavior, I proceeded to drive away and while rolling up the windows the back on fell straight down. I can only conclude this worker confused my job with another and messed with the back speaker causing a cable in the door to break. Maybe the owner, who did not seem overly surprised about the alcohol consumption, will read this and assure you he has fired this employee but I’d be very skeptical to take my business there.

I really recommend DFW Stereo. Every time I got a new car or wanted an upgraded system the owner Masoud was great. He would actively and personally work with me to get me the best system for what I wanted and at the best price he could afford. Seriously, their prices are better than any brick and mortar store and is just as good as anything online. I don’t trust buying my stuff online because #1 these items could have been stolen parts or arrive broken and #2 manufacturers don’t warrantee anything that wasn’t purchased through their certified distributors like DFW Stereo (for reason #1). But it doesn’t matter because DFW Stereo will get you the best price and great service. Plus you can get everything installed in just a few hours with their great technicians on staff.
The store front isn’t the greatest but that’s a product of them cutting into their own profits to give you the best deals. There’s a reason they have certificates all over from manufacturers claiming they are one of the best retailers.
Do yourself a favor and go get your car work done at DFW Stereo. I’ve been other places but it’s clear they just want to sell you what makes them the most profit. (Judge them by how much they spend on making their store front pretty)
Being an electrical engineer I know a bit about electronics and I can tell when others are trying to sell you an over or underpowered amp for your subs, Masoud will be honest with you and frankly that is enough of a reason to go to DFW Stereo, and that’s the reason I am writing this review. They will take care of you and make sure you are comfortable with the system they provide.

Everytime I upgrade the speakers or stereo in my car I research the hell out of it. I go on the internet… find out what’s best… and then find the best price possible. I mean, it’s what everyone should do right?
Anyway, after I do all this, i go to DFW Stereo in Grapevine to see if they can match any deals that I find, and they almost always can! Which is great. The guy that runs that shop is super cool and he remembers me everytime i go in, you won’t get something like that at Best Buy or Circuit City.
In the 9 years that I have been a driver, I have had 3 subwoofers, 3 pairs of speakers, 3 Head units, 2 amps and 3 car alarms installed by DFW Stereo without any problems. Also, whenever I need to make any adjustments I just go over there and ask and they usually can help me out right away.
From the outside it doesnt seem that nice, but it’s people make it a great store.
