Worst customer service ever! First, the machine didn’t work when we pulled in. Tried the next one on both sides and no respond. Why the hell would you have that if it doesn’t work?! Then, I went inside. The guy asked what number? How the hell am I supposed to know? Then asked what is that I wanted? No apologies or anything. I was so hungry so I ordered. Food was quick when ordered. As I grab my bag of food the guy didn’t give me my drink until I raised my voice and asked politely where’s my drink?. Food was great but service sucks! Never again going to location.

Chicken express was recommend to me by a friend told the fish was great and I should try it so I did. Must not have been talking about this location. The fish was OLD af. The sweet tea was watered down and anything but sweet. Took everything back including the watered down tea. Michael the mgr was very nice and quickly refunded my money. Offered to cook me fresh fish but I decline his offer. So if you want fish this is NOT the place to get it.

Eh. Food was not good. Got a side of fried pickles which was total waste of money. Couldn’t eat more than a bite of it. It was like eating a spoon of salt. Way to salty and nasty.

Came back against my better judgement because a friend wanted Chicken E. I went through the drive-thru this time and was met with terrible service. I know that getting customers in and out is important, but the trick is to do it without being obvious about it. Without making them feel rushed. A trick the employees here have no idea about. I received my food and it was disgusting. Fries were good, but my roll, tenders, and fried pickles were despicable. All very old and cold. If you have ever had old, cold chicken then you know how hard it is to stomach that terrible texture and taste. I guess I should have taken the advice of the manager and asked for fresh food.

Food is pretty good. Prices are pretty good but service is hit or miss. Some are friendly some just don’t care. Nothing much more to really say, want some good chicken go there but know service might be stale.

Went to this Chicken Express today. First the address shown on Unilocal was wrong. It’s 828 E Northwest Highway. We ordered fish and chicken. The chicken was good, the fish wasn’t. It was over cooked and so salty that it wasn’t edible. Everything else was very good. Service was great.

Came through drive-thru. Took a while for them to acknowledge us. When they did it felt rushed. We were eh noted at the window when we did try to pay. Window was kept closed the whole time. Food and tea is great but tonight was not good. Maybe just bad timing.

I usually love chicken express. However my husband just went to get himself dinner only to notice when he got home he was missing tenders. When he went back they said they didn’t have any tenders made and offered him chicken pieces with the bone? No thank you… If we wanted that we would’ve ordered that. All the employees seemed super annoyed that he want his originally ordered chicken tenders. So he is having to wait 15 minutes for them to be made meanwhile his sides are going to be cold. I’m not usually a complainer but I am surprised by the service we have received.

I have to update my previous review of this franchise. I went by Chicken Express lately to pick up lunch for the office. One of the folks wanted a cup of their ice cream(I think they call it custard). Anyway, I made the mistake of leaving without double-checking the order, so when I got back to the office, the ice cream wasn’t there. I called the franchise to see if I could bring the receipt back and pick one up, but the manager immediately asked, «Where’s your office?» When I explained that it was nearby, he immediately had the custard made and brought to us. This kind of service goes above and beyond what is expected at a fried chicken store, and they have earned a regular customer because of that.

Great service! Food was pretty good to. I mean, it is a Chicken Express after all. But the service was outstanding!

I don’t particuarly like chicken but I’m a fried chicken liver whore. This is the best place to get them. The teenagers that work the drive thru on Friday nights aren’t that happy to be there. But who the hell can blame them if I was a teen again I’d be pissed I was working on a Friday night. That being said however maybe if you kept your head in the game we’d both get through with our transaction sooner and you can get back to texting and I could get home and eat my fried chicken livers. Does a drive thru qualify you for wheel chair accessible? If so they are.

Man I wish we had something like this back in Chicago. Was here for a bachelor party and we had some chicken express that we saved for late-night after the bars. I’ve never had such good fried chicken! yum!

This is a good chicken place when you want a quick meal but don’t want to compromise quality. I love the sweet tea here too. If you get chicken strips, they usually throw a few extra in. They have many options to enjoy your food whether you choose the bays, the dining room, outside patio seating and a drive thru. The bathrooms are clean and the inside dining area is always well kept. I am a bit upset that they no longer serve the hot mustard sauce and will hold onto hope that someone reconsider and bring it back.
