Donut Palace

Just a great little donut shop in a land full of donut shops.
We walked in a little late — 11:00 AM, so I wasn’t sure that what we were going to get was going to be fresh, but I was mistaken. I don’t know if they just make them all day until closing or what, but it was delicious.
It was my daughter who picked it out, as we were at the Southlake post office and had a sudden craving for donuts. But I trusted her Unilocaling skills (I’ve taught her well) and headed on over.
Friendly lady behind the counter, was very patient with our questions. I ended up with two chocolate iced with sprinkles which were divine, and my daughter had an apple fritter and a glazed which she loved. Not especially happy with her coffee, though. Called it «not quality,» which in teenager-​speak probably means «not enough sugar.»
I won’t hesitate to come here again.

Definitely my go-​to Doughnut shop. The doughnuts are very light and fresh here. even at 10:00AM.they weren’t leftovers from the early morning.

This is the BEST donut shop in Grapevine! Excellent service, quality and product! Always very friendly and very fast! We’ve made a weekly tradition.

I ordered a large jalapeño sausage roll, an apple fritter, a raspberry filled donut and a large coffee. The coffee was just meh, nothing special. The sausage roll was quite good. The bread was light, fluffy, buttery and slightly crisp on the outside. This is the sole reason that I did not give them only one star. Unfortunately the fritter had almost no apple in it, and both the donut and «apple» fritter had a musty smell that gave me the impression that the oil they were fried in was old and/​or slightly rancid. I couldn’t eat more than a bite of either one of them and threw them away.

Pretty much the most spectacular donut ever. Idk if you’ve tried the glazed with sprinkles… but its to die for. Way better than some dumb old krispy kreame

Because this donut shop is within walking distance to my house, it is very convenient for me to get my donut fix here. The donuts are made fresh daily and they have a good variety to chose from, They also have a decent variety of beverages. The only issue I have is that sometimes they are out of donut holes. How is that possible?
They have four tables with chairs so you can dine in if you choose. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I don’t know if their coffee is good but a lot of people drink it, so it probably is.
The people who run it are nice and friendly. Today, one of the ladies offered me a baby wipe so I could wipe my son’s donuty face. They are open until noon every day, so sometimes I stock up in the morning anticipating my need for a donut after they’ve closed.

I love these doughnuts and Kolaches. My only complaint after going here for 3 years is that stuff isnt ready when they open on a consistent basis. Everything they have is super fresh tasting especially the cinnimon rolls, they not only have cinnamon on the inside but inside the glaze they use to coat the whole outter part. The Kolaches have a sweet honey type glaze on the inside of the pastry crust which makes them so delectable. All the other doughnuts are light and airy which makes eating a dozen easy to do. Not saying I have.
