Bummed out. Brought 5 coworkers from Irving to eat and their closed down. Says visit their other locations.

Soooooooo slooooooooow.
But when you finally get the food it’s pretty good. I’d give them another star if they made a Philly with whiz like you can get in the city of brotherly love.
Fries are nothing to write home about. Don’t drive out of your way for this one and certainly not on your lunch break.

One of the best Philly’s I have ever had! Very nice place amazing staff and just one place you have to get! 5 stars.

Food is great, but they never answer their phone and service is slow… don’t want to order and wait 40 min before I get my food

Outstanding cheese steaks! Like a taste of home. The grill is starting to get the onion seasoning needed. Best in Texas.

I hate you guys.. .. . completely hate you guys. .. I can’t go ANYWHERE else to have a cheese steak sandwich!!! When I moved I thought I’d never eat one again and then I found you here!!! I’m in Love with almost every sandwich on the menu.. . I like whiz.. the cook made it clear that I was wrong for thinking that.. . But whatever I like it! Lol. .. I’m joking. It really is good. Nothing fancy. Nothing special as far as atmosphere.. . but good quick food.. .

Very fresh and delicious. First time there. Will be back. Cool, dive atmosphere with pics on the wall. Lots of choices for sandwiches. Had several people tell me to check it out. Good call.

While the food was not bad it was quite obvious we had never been there before. Never once did the girl behind the counter ask if we wanted help deciding what to order… we had two sandwiches and asked if they came with side she pretty much looked at us like we were stupid and said well you can make it a meal… did you want fries with that? I can’t say that we will be back here. Food not terrible… service on the other hand was horrible.

Very good cheesesteak, better than most. A bit of a dive but not a problem unless you are fussy. Biggest problem is it is super slow. Very very slow.

Exceptional cheesesteak! Had steak, onions & mushrooms and my friend had basic cheesesteak. Delicious!!! I died and went to cheesesteak heaven!
6 inch is more like 10 inches long and more than enough food for 1, nearly enough for two. Service is great! Guy at the counter was hysterical. Lunch for 2 — 2 cheesesteaks, fries (which had yummy seasoning on them) and drinks were about $ 16. Great deal for lunch!

Stopped in one day before going to work, as I wanted to try a spot in Grapevine that I haven’t had before.
Atmosphere: just as I had expected; a sandwich shop with the menu posted on the wall. Spaceballs was playing on the TV’s, which was a nice touch. Plenty of Philadelphia regalia all over the walls. Tables were clean, but the floors were a little unkempt and could’ve used a sweeping.
Service: just fine, no complaints. I ordered, paid and one of the staff members walked my sandwich out to me when it was finished instead of just yelling from the counter. Nice touch.
Food: I’m not from Philly so I’ve never had the real-​deal philly, but it was good. I got the pepper cheese steak (basic philly with sauteed peppers and onions). Was overall great-​tasting. Would have been nice to have a bag of chips or something on the side for the price, but overall I think it’s a fair value.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the dining area could have been a little more tidy. It wasn’t dirty or gross, just untidy.
I will be sure to return and would definitely recommend to others.

Best Philly I’ve had since moving to Texas! You can’t lose here for a quick in and out place. And a great cheese steak to boot! Staff was friendly and the fries where crispy, what more can you ask for?

Awesome cheese steaks! I’ve eaten here several times now and have been stuck on the mushroom one and the one with onion and pepper. The service is fast and friendly.

This was amazing!!! I will be back for sure. The prices are good, the atmosphere is great, and the food came out fast. This was my 4^th time going and it was in spot every time.

Dang these philly steaks are on point. I’m from east coast and this is by far the best philly steak since I’ve been in tx! Fred was super cool to us too, thanks Fred!

Dang Fred, why do you take so long to make my Philly. This seems to be the place to grab a Philly around here, but during the lunch time I’ve found that it’s not possible to eat there & make it back to work. Twice I’ve had to ask for my Philly to go after waiting 30mins.
The guys who work this place seem to be very laid back. I’m not sure if this goes hand & hand with the slow service, but I would imagine so. Usually this place is steady, but never seems busy. Nothing really to be said of the shop or cleanliness.
The Phillies here are really really good. I would say they fall a little short on the meat though. The Philly sauce really does give the philly a nice zing, so be sure to check that out. Overall I think they make great a great Philly, but with the shortage of meat & the wait time, i’ve decided this isn’t the place to go to often.
Check this place out on a day that’s laid back, just like they are.

Well I’ll have to try an actual cheese steak when I try them again but based on how my body reacted to the grilled cheese I had, I’m a little worried to go back. I had a couple friends swear by this place, and I usually enjoy the same places they do. My sister in law offered to get some for pick up one night when we were at my inlaws. I was about to head out so decided just on a grilled cheese cause I don’t eat a lot of meat, don’t eat cheese wiz & I knew it would be easy to eat on my drive home. It tasted funky so only had a few bites, and decided that I would eat a salad or fruit at home instead. Half way home I ended up having to pull over to be violently sick after eating the maybe ¹⁄₃ of it that I had. Wasn’t sick the few week before and wasn’t sick other than my body getting that Sandwhich out of my system. I ended up running into a couple other friends who got really sick from there as well around the same time … one said she thinks it’s the grease if your not used to eating that much in one sitting which I’m not.
So might give it another chance, possibly at another location, but i know I won’t order the grilled cheese again.

After several times here we have decided that we just won’t return. Food is but each time we returned we got less and less meat. If I want a bread sandwhich I would order that. Fried pickles are good but for the money it is WAY expensive for the quantity. They ask if this is your first visit and the meat seemed fine. Next time I said no and less meat or so it seemed. Even less meat the next. Tell them yes… maybe you get more neat. 3 stars for food, but quantiti for price 1.5. Friendly folks though and tasted better than Pat’s and Geno’s in Philadelphia!
