Visiting from out of town, found this place on YP App… The front counter lady is rude as mentioned by others. I wasn’t too impressed with my food. I couldn’t believe how dry the chicken was, I got a taco salad & my daughter a tostada with chicken hers was dry to. The shell was bad, I probably had a teaspoon of guacamole, it was so bland had into pour salsa all over it. My hubs said his chicken burrito was good. The margarita was excellent, but I will not eat here again.

Favorite authentic Mexican I have ever had. Street tacos to die for. They also have Churros!!! Delicious guacamole. Literally can’t find anywhere in North Texas that will compare to this place. Burritos are HUGE. An all around win. Don’t miss out.

They are using brisket as carne asada. That’s cheating. No good! Is my second time buying tacos from this place. First time it was really good they gave me real carne asada tacos. I don’t know what happen that they change it. Bad thing I got the order to go I didn’t notice until I was ready to eat the tacos.

Been going to this place for years since I work at DFW airport. The food is good and authentic, but the service is awful, everyone is rude. It seems to be a prerequisite, because everyone that has worked there seems to have the same attitude. Like I said, been going there for years and never so much as «good to see you again’» or «have a nice day.» One time I called to place an order on the phone. The lady put me on hold. By the time I got to the place I was still on hold. I told the lady and she just giggled and said she forgot.

Don’t waste your time. Poor service and subpar food. The condiment bar was dark and scary. Please don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews. They’re inaccurate at best and deceiving at worst. I can think of dozens of better places to get tacos.

TOTALLYRUINEDMYWEEKEND! I was craving some street tacos checked this place out on Unilocal and decided to try it out, boy was it a HUGE mistake! The lady that was suppose to be at the register was sitting down talking to who I’m assuming was her boyfriend ignored us for a good 5 mins before she decided to come and assist us. When I was ready to order she didn’t greet me, made me feel like I was bothering her and she looked at me and my son up and down. El taco H if you’re end goal is to lose first time customers by all means keep Elsa at your register(sarcasm) she’s doing great. She over charged us and argued with me so we asked for the manager he either didn’t get my message or he didn’t care to address my problem. We left this establishment with a bad taste in our mouths(no pun intended) BEWAREOFELSATHEREGISTERICEQUEEN with her cold demeanor if you visit El Taco H, YOUHAVEBEENWARNED!!! Will NEVEREVERCOMEHEREAGAIN!

You heard it here first, stay away! I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this place. The service was horrible! The lady at the front had an angry face the entire time we were there, and was not helpful when we were ordering(overcharged my friend, and demanded that she was right). She needs some training, seeing as how the #1 rule of «the customer’s always right» is foreign to her. The food was not much better. I had the shredded brisket taco, and was highly disappointed. It was WAY salty, which didn’t allow me to enjoy the meat. Overall, you are better off driving a couple of minutes to other taco places nearby. Consider yourself warned.

Love the food but oh my gosh El taco H either train the lady that works your cash register how to be nice to customers or get someone else. She was probably the rudest staff I have ever met. She didn’t greet me or my friends, she messed up my order and up charged me and she didn’t even apologize for it. the reason why I am giving this place one star is because of her. El taco H in Irving is 1000000000000 times better because of their staffs. This place might be very close to me but I will never go here again.

I was on my way to grab fast food nearby on my lunch break when I noticed this little place tucked away at the end of the plaza. Curious, I headed that way and thought that this would be a good way to spice up my office lunch. I ordered a barbacoa burrito expecting something normal size, and went about fixing up some salsas for when it was ready. I probably waited for 10 minutes before the kitchen produced an infant-sized burrito that I immediately knew I would have trouble finishing. Excited at the prospect of a challenge, I raced back to the office and unwrapped the beauty. Chalk me up as a fan! The burrito had the perfect balance of ingredients and the salsa was great on top. I wish I had asked for some tacos as well, so I’ll have to bring some coworkers back to sample some other foods. As for the burrito, it was a winner in my book.

Was in the area for a wedding and we wanted some quick eats before the wedding and we found this place. SOGLADWEFOUNDTHISPLACE. So damn good. Cheap & authentic tasting. Fun atmosphere filled with Mexican wrestlers and their masks. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely come back here!

Love this place. I come here twice a month. Super cheap and super good. I particularly enjoy the crispy beef tacos and a cold Mexican coke!

Yummy!!! Cheap. In a shopping center near Joanne’s fabrics. One side is a walk up order place and the other side you can sit down. The pastor tacos are amazing!!!

Based on food alone the street tacos are well flavored and always satisfying. Always try the Barbacoa and al pastor. It’s attached to baja grill in a shopping strip in grapevine. There is a homemade salsa bar with onions, cilantro, and limes to add as well. It’s a little hole in the wall so don’t expect too much. Definitely a place to try out if you’re in the neighborhood.

Recently a white asked me, «What’s El Taco H?» Well, I’ll tell you, amigo. It’s a street taco place that should be in the dilapidated urban decay that is Oak Cliff but for some reason is nestled deep in the loving bosom and safety of the Grapevine biosphere. Is it like eating street tacos on your annual guys’ trip to Boys Town? Nah. But it’s better than fast food and not as expensive as chain restaurants. Kind of authentic – kind of cheap. That’s really the best way I can put it without offending any more people.

I came as soon as they opened on a Wednesday and ordered 3 tacos: carne asada, pollo asada and a barbacoa one. My favorite was the barbacoa. I was told that the chicken wasn’t going to be ready until 20 minutes after my order, so I just asked for another barbacoa taco. They have a little condiment bar of necessary toppings like cilantro, onions, pico de gallo, lime, etc. overall, I would recommend this place for some cheap, decent tacos.

I only tried their tacos. As much as I appreciate their toppings and salsa bar to the side(that way I can put on as much cilantro and onions and the like as I want), the tacos are not as good as other places – the tortillas tasted a tad dry; i don’t know if they were overcooked or just old, but it was noticeably dry. The meats themselves were good, though. I don’t come to Grapevine very often, but if you’re looking for authentic and reasonably cheap(around 1.50 a taco as of this writing) tacos in the area, El Taco H might be a place to check out.

Pretty packed at lunch time, always a great sign. I had a big Horchata to drink which tasted as expected. Pretty sure it’s made from concentrate at most places which explains why it all tastes the same. It’s good, no complaints. Ordered 3 tacos: Brisket, pastor, and barbacoa. All good. .street taco style. Kind of slow to get your order. Also, the soft spoken lady calling your number could use a microphone. Salsa bar next to pick up desk. Green salsa is hot! Not a big place, so tight seating next to others is what you can expect. The take away foe me is when you finally get your tacos, it’s good food. Plus pretty cheap. I’ll be back :)
