Phenix Salon Suites

So bought a groupon for this place at $ 35, I show up for my 1pm hair appointment and Hair by D’Ann was just starting on cutting someone’s else’s hair. Ok yeah like I have time to wait an entire hour and half. That’s what appointments are for. So on my groupon I did not read fine print. If you have simi long hair it’s and extra $ 30 so 30 + 35+ 20 tip = $ 85 to get 2 inches trimmed off yeah right. My last guy who moved from Trophy Club did an amazing job for $ 45.
Anyway never going back here. People who have better luck there that’s great! Not paying $ 85 for a trim.

I have had my hair cut/​colored and styled by Ashely for years. She recently moved her from another local, prominent salon. I like this place and I love the way Ashley cuts my hair. She listens to my needs and wants and then works her magic. I also like the way she sends text reminders about my appt. That is a big help. I highly recommend Ashely S. at Phenix!

(SUITE 120 — CALYSTA) I received a coupon for Calysta’s deep conditioner/​cut and was very happy with the results! She likes to dry-​cut after drying and straightening, which made it easier to tell what exactly she was going for as she did it. I was able to communicate «a little shorter here» or «a little more thinned out there» and left very happy with my haircut (I’m usually very picky and tend to leave other salons unhappy). I plan to continue seeing Calysta whenever I need a haircut!

I meet Pam today, for the first time, and she made me feel like we have been friends our whole life! Amazing service! everything I witnessed, this is a five – star full service salon. If you want high end décor, high end service, and very friendly staff, with local ownership, this is your place!

Amy has never been with Phenix in Grapevine. This place is amazing! I have worked at Phenix as a manager sInce Oct of 2012 and we have such talented professionals. Come see for yourself, I’m sure you with find it very welcoming.

Really love this place. I’ve been going to Sabrina for several years and she just recently moved to Phenix Salon — it’s so nice, each hairdresser has their own room, so it’s a bit more private. The owner greeted me at the door and was very friendly, showed me to Sabrina’s room. Ask for Sabrina, she is amazing, seriously never have to think about what she’s doing to my hair, she always makes it look great.

I wish I could give this business NO stars because the same thing happened to me as the other reviewer. I purchased a Groupon for a Brazillian Blowout with Amy at NYLA and had to get a refund from Groupon because the merchant NEVER called me back to set up a time to honor my Groupon!!! What kind of business thinks they can sell a bunch of Groupons and NOT honor them?! Horrible, Horrible business!!!

I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian Blowout with Amy Robinson at NYLA. I called and left her a voicemail in which she did not return my call. Then I texted her as this was the best way to get a hold of her (based on her outgoing voice message instructed); Never heard back. I resent my text message 7 days later. She finally responded and scheduled me 3 weeks out. I show up the day and time of my appointment and she doesn’t show up. I called her phone 3 times without her answering. I texted her wanting to make sure I was at the correct location. I wait around for over 45 mins and finally received a text message from «her mom» stating «her daughter is very sick and will not be coming to work today but she will call me tomorrow to reschedule.» I informed her I had driven over 25 miles and a notice would have been courteous and appropriate; and I would like to reschedule asap. She then had the nerve to text me back calling me Lady and had an unprofessional tone. The next day has come and went and still no phone call or text! I called and got a refund for my Groupon. I would not EVER recommend this person for any kind of hair service, she is very unprofessional and only wants your money!
