The UPS Store

The manager falsified infomation to avoid paying a claim on my shipment. Refused to talk with either the shipper or the recipient. The manager is also rude. Please use a non-​UPS store for shipping items. Particularly avoid shipping anything of value through this store!

Super slow and not friendly. Two of the employees glared at me. There are so many other ups in the area. Avoid this one for the displeasing experience.

I come to this store all the time to get documents notarized. The staff is super friendly!

Not any fault of theirs, BUT do not use their shredding service! It’s not secure! It is a big cart from Iron Mountain that has a lock on it, that the employees know the combination. Also the cart has a huge entry portal that they can easily put their hands in a get your documents out. Wth?

I came here to send out a return to Amazon. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. I came in on Saturday around 10:30 and the gentleman was helpful and made my experience a hassle free one. Thanks!

Really disappointed with the service and price of shipping a package today.
Person was not very helpful and wanted $ 150 for shipping a package to the kids. Went to FedEx and shipped for a lot less.
I don’t ship often but ruined my ideas that UPS was less expensive.
Will go with the other guys next time.

So, I almost didn’t go to this UPS location due to the review posted in 2013. Because of it’s location and where I was headed it made the most sense.
Thankfully I had a fabulous experience with the entire store including the man working at the counter. They had the supplies I needed and he helped us select the best rate for shipping.
My daughter was also with me and she had her measuring tape. When it came time to measure the package the clerk asked her if she’d like to help him and she gave him the measurements.
The store contained a small play area with books, a table, and some toys. If I need to mail another package UPS while in town I will be heading back to this location.

I usually don’t go out of my way to write a negative review but this experience at the local UPS store was very frustrating. If I had read a review like this, I could have avoided not one but two bad experiences.
I called a few days ago to see if a document could be printed and bound with plastic binding within an hour’s time. The woman on the phone assured me that yes, that would be no problem and instructed me to email the document to the store. I sent the email, complete with my contact info, and went about my day. Two hours later (I ended up having more time than I thought) I showed up at the store and there was no sign of my document. They had no idea why it fell through the cracks. They printed it while I waited and apologized for the confusion. I figured stuff happens, no problem.
So yesterday I realized I needed to have another booklet printed. I double checked the store hours before sending in my emailed request again, and saw that the store was still open for several hours that evening and an hour this morning before my designated pick up time. My email contained my contact info again, as well as a request to contact me if for some reason this print and bind request could not be completed by my designated time. It takes less than 10 minutes to print and bind this booklet, and since there were several hours between my request and my pick up time, I can’t see how it would be an issue, but I included my request to contact me just in case!
Lo and behold, I showed up at 9am this morning to pick up my booklet and they had no idea what I was talking about. The woman printed and bound the booklet while I waited, but this time it made me late for an appointment with a client. I had to call and push my appointment back because I was still waiting on my booklet.
She said I should have called ahead and this wouldn’t have happened, but I did call ahead last time and it still happened. If you’re in need of printing services, I cannot possibly recommend this UPS store.
I would have made this a one star review if it weren’t for the friendliness of the staff. I will say that every staff member during both of my visits was very friendly and efficient. They were all very apologetic as well. I did ship a document from this store during my first visit and had absolutely no trouble with that, so if you need to ship something I’m sure this is a fine place to go for that service.
