Most amazing bagels ever!!! My favorite is the bear on jalapeño. Mmmmm deliciousness!

This place rocks! My favorites are the parmesan bagels and jalapeño cream cheese, but everything is good. The only reason I actually have favorites is because I’ve tried practically everything. Parking sucks but I’m not going to ding them for that, this is a small town and we have to get in where we fit in.

Best bagels in town and their sandwiches can’t be beat! The friendly and helpful staff always greet you with a smile and will ‘customize’ your order. Try the Tahoe with garlic cream cheese on a Bulldog. Out of sight!!!

I hadn’t been back to Bubba’s for a few years until last week. I always loved their multi grain bagels. I bought a dozen and noticed when I was carrying them out how light the bags were. Well if you like light as a feather bagels with no heft then these are for you. Was there a change in ownership? They used to be good, although not N.Y. style. Having grown up in New York, I love a bagel with some weight and chew… boiled then baked with a nice crust. Still looking for a good, honest New York style bagel in the Auburn area.

Hands down the best bagels in the area. Their bagel sandwhiches are fabulous. «The Tahoe» is my favorite but they have many choices. Fresh ingredients and fast(polite) service. Can’t ask for much more. Highly recommend Bubba’s!

This place is always busy and with good reason. Great product, fair pricing. Nice selection of bagels and schemers.

Bubba’s Bagels takes first place in Nevada County for bagels by a long shot. Locals both kids and adults line up for these delicious and in-expensive bagels. The wait has never been very long and the people behind the counter are very friendly. Make sure to get there well before there early closing time, because the popular bagels will sell out. The same kinds seem to disappear early everyday(Pizza, Cheddar, etc.) as most people once they find the flavor they like they stick with it. The one thing that some people seem to not understand is that the real value of this places lies simply in a bagel and cream cheese. While the sandwiches are tasty, they are EXPENSIVE. Stick to the basics and you and your wallet will be happy. The only problem I’ve ever encountered is the somewhat small and cramped parking lot. Combine this with the Nevada Union kids that don’t know how to drive you can sometimes get annoyed, however this is definitely not the businesses fault, just something to note.

I work in Grass Valley and sometimes at the beginning of the week I stop by Bubba’s Bagels to pick up a mixed bag of bagels and cream cheese to eat for breakfast throughout the week. I think a lot of reviewers on Unilocal tend to be pretty liberal with their 5 star ratings but I honestly can’t find one thing to complain about this place. Their bagel selection is very good. Their dfferent cream cheseses are very good as well. Day old bagels are 50% off and taste just as good. I grab a sandwich to go for lunch on occasion as well. The ingredients on their sandwiches all taste very fresh and the deli cuts are tasty. Although they are all good, some of my favorite bagels that everyone should try are: The Bulldog — Has onion, garlic, sesame, poppy, the works. Garlic Onion Jalapeño Jack — Has a slice of jalapeño cheese and topped with crushed red pepper Spinach and Cheese Pizza Spreads I enjoy: Garlic Onion Chives Sundried Tomato Plain

Now that they’ve jacked their prices up even more, this place no longer resembles anything even remotely close to a reasonable value. It would be one thing if the food quality matched the price point($ 7 for a microwaved egg bagel…), but that’s unfortunately not the case. The concept of the menu is good, and the people working there are nice enough, but overall it’s absurdly overpriced for the quality.

Bubbas Bagels is more than a bagel shop. It’s a staple to the locals. No bagel shop anywhere, has ever compared to Bubbas Bagels. Bubbas sets the standard so high that almost EVERY other bagel I’ve had anywhere else seems extremely lame and unsatisfying. Bubbas makes all their bagels in house, and have amazing bagel sandwhich combos. If your getting breakfast, get a Yosemite. There is no other place like Bubbas. Go there and enjoy.

NEVER get a bagel anywhere else. Whether you want it plain or as a sandwich, your food will be amazing. If the line’s out the door, you better hurry up and get your bagel before they sell out: D

This is the staple of Grass Valley — if you haven’t heard or visited Bubbas Bagels yet your missing out bigtime! Just walk in and get the Tahoe or the Yuba and thank me later ! Really though this place is just amazing, I have been to Noah’s and a couple other wannabes but this is the top dog! When I lived in Grass Valley I took Bubbas for granted but now living in Sacramento I still drive up every weekend to get my fix! In a small building between Jimboys and the Bottle Shop they put out some of the most consistent best breakfast bagels and lunches in the region! Pick one of their amazing bagels and put one of their many cream cheeses on it or get one of the breakfast sandwiches or lunches on the bagel instead! Like I mentioned earlier the Tahoe is one of my personal favorites and it continues to lure me back each weekend for a special trip up the hill!

While visiting Grass Valley yesterday, I had a sesame bagel at a local coffee shop. Being a former East Coast resident, I seldom come across a sensational-tasting bagels that meet my demanding palate since I moved to California, However, this time, I hit gold! I found out the bagel came from Bubba’s Bagels, so I drove over to Bubba’s with my friend to buy a dozen bagels to bring back home. We had the pleasure of being served by Kannitha, the owner. Such a friendly and sweet lady! She patiently waited while we searched through all their flavors and ordered several varieties(including sesame, of course) and thoughtfully answered my questions about the history of Bubba’s since she took ownership of the store eight years ago. I can see why there are numerous great reviews for Bubba’s. Not only are the bagels so delicious, but Kannitha and her staff are genuinely pleasant and friendly to their customers. While I’m not from the Grass Valley area, I wanted to let the locals who haven’t visited Bubba’s to get over there and try their bagels. As for me, I’ll definitely drop in whenever I’m in the area!

This place deserves 5 stars! Always polite staff, freshly(to die for) bagels and some rockiin’ smear. After a long swim at the South Yuba, I treat myself to their Tahoe in a Jalapeño bagel. Wondering what that is? Or my favorite(always sales out) the blueberry bagel with butter or apple cinnamon smear. You got to stop by and give this a try. No disappointment. Yes the space is cramped but who cares!!! You’re there for the food.

The bagels are very good and the toppings are always fresh. The lady, who I believe runs the place is very nice to. :-) You’ll have to get in there early if you want«your» bagel, otherwise there’s a strong chance they’ll be out of them and once they’re out… that’s it until the next day. :-( The parking is good, but the room«inside» is terrible. It’s a very frustrating experience to even try to stand in there and order, let a lone wait and especially to try and eat. They to have a couple of tables outside, but there is no coverage so unless it’s a perfect 70 degree day… it’s gonna be HOT or COLD! Lol Not a big deal though since you can sit in your car and eat. Lol Some of the younger people who work in there could stand to pay more attention to how their boss interacts with customers because they can be rude. If some of the staff could liven up a little and be more fireindly, it would REALLY help the cramped experience feel less cramped. Other than that, they really do offer some delicious bagels.
