Lucchesi (pronounced Loo CASE ee) has a small tasting room in downtown Grass Valley, but it is packed with lots of trinkets, art work, and a variety of wine! Zinfandel will not disappoint. Staff is always friendly and informative. For those who need some guidance on how to taste wine — this is the place to go. Linda and Mario will answer your questions and make you feel comfortable. They are a wealth of knowledge!
As with most small-​lot, production wineries, wine tends to be more expensive, but the quality is always great. Whether you like fruity, dry, oak, light, massive, young, or old wine, you will be sure to find it here. If you are looking for a particular wine, and they don’t have it, they will point you to another tasting room in town that may have it!
