Love the handmade italian lace scarves! So many beautiful colors to choose from. Can’t wait to collect all the colors.

I highly recommend this shop. It has very friendly atmosphere and a diverse selection of high quality merchandise. The last time I visited, I stepped in to the store looking for a gift for my wife. The proprietor was extremely helpful in assisting me to find the right items, and wrapped them beautifully, to boot.

This is a unique shop filled with all kinds of amazing jewelry and artwork. They’re collection of gems and stones is elaborate and the store owner Nancy is full of info. Plus she prints out facts for you too ! This place truly gives you that feeling of «shopping local». With such detail for customer service. I live in Grass Valley and have shopped there often for those one of a kind finds ! This place is mine, my moms, and lil sisters favorite shop in town.

This shop is one place I always drop by when I’m in Grass Valley. They have unique items from Corinthian Bells windchimes to herbal teas to minerals and jewelry. I love the obsidian wind chimes too — so unique!
I’ve always been interested in crystals, rocks and minerals. This shop has quite a selection of meteorites and the owner is quite knowledgeable about her stuff. If you have questions about the properties, she also has a book which describes which stone has certain attributes.
Great selection of moldavite — the green, glassy substance formed roughly 15 million years ago, give or take when a meteorite (or some fiery thing from space) hit the earth and formed these beautiful gems. She also has a jeweler that makes custom moldavite rings! I was very tempted by a beautiful ring that had two moldavite stones surrounding a Siberian amethyst.
Located on the corner, the store has lots of light and character and the owner is a lovely person who is passionate about her stuff!

The owner Nancy and Co. are the sweetest and best. Organized, professional, fair and honest. Love the items she carries from all types of jewelry, and art or just about anything that’s unusual. She’s open when she says she is gonna be also, that’s a big help.

Really great «New Age» knick knacks shoppe. What gives it 4 stars is the breadth and array of original jewelry and home décor pieces. My wife bought two pieces of jewelry. They have Larimar, an unusual blue stone found only in the Dominican Republic, which some people feel Edgar Cayce prophesied would be found as a remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. My wife bought a Larimar pendant. There is so much handcrafted jewelry here beyond that.
The owners are indeed personable and good storytellers. We got to meet one of the artists whose work was available for sale in the store. The gentleman showed us a number of his meteorites, and the self-​contained ecosystems where shrimp can live up to 7 years with only indirect sunlight to drive their tiny world.
If you like original handicrafts, jewelry and home décor this is a must visit in Grass Valley.

LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s my absolute favorite store to visit in town. Nancy & her husband are so friendly, knowledgeable and really take customer service to a whole new level. I could spend hours in there chatting and getting lost with the beautiful jewelery.

Very nice shopkeepers told me all about their meteor and moldavite items. Shop is good for gifts.

A different kind of shop… I always find something here. Nancy, her husband and the staff have a fascinating little corner shop here. Definitely worth a stop on the way from cocktails at the Holbrook to dinner at the Owl Tavern!

What can I say, I’m always sold by interesting store owners that talk your ear off about their products and show a real passion for their work. (See my review for Phoenix Optical.)
Such was the case when my BF and I went to The West Wind and the owner Dick Eadington regaled us with the histories and fun facts about all the meteorites he was selling in his store. He really knew a lot about rocks. Doesn’t sound that exciting but I’m just a sucker for learning about random things, so I enjoyed myself.
Yeah, they have meteorites there. (Amidst all the jewelry and new age-​y wind chimes.) Pretty amazing stuff to look at. There’s some pretty cool moldavite jewelry which I ended up purchasing. (They gave me a 10% discount since they liked talking to us so much!)
Now, I’m not a big jewelry person, but I figured, if I’m going to own a faceted emerald cut stone on a necklace, why not have the rock be from outer space? I don’t know many girls with outer space around their neck.
And thus, I have reached a new level of nerdiness. Joyous.
