Ambrosia is our favorite place to order from in Greeley. Their food is consistently delicious and the service(especially for delivery) is top notch. Everyone that we have ever dealt with has been friendly and very helpful. We will be long term customers for sure!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Went with my family and ordered potstickers. As my mom cut into hers, a bug crawled out… Not to mentioned they tried to give us a lame excuse and we still had to pay our whole ticket because we were too shocked to fight it.

Awful. Not impressed at all. Sesame shrimp was super soggy and way too sweet. No offer of fried rice. Steam rice only with meal. They did have a good potsticker but that’s hard to mess up.

Reliably great food. This is definitely my son’s favorite place in town and I love it, too! I love the variety of options. Also the service is fantastic very professional and very friendly and personable! Best Chinese/Asian restaurant in town, without a doubt!

I truly can not say enough good things about this restaurant. I live in New York and periodically order take out long distance for a family member that lives in Greeley. The people are very pleasant to deal with, the order is delivered quickly and correctly, and the food is hot and delicious Ambrosia Asian Bistro is a gem.

Great place and great food! Great sushi and they always have 2 for 1 beers and sakes. They have all different types of Asian cuisine, and have something for everyone in your party.

I just ordered dinner to be delivered again! I love knowing I will get hot, great food every time. My husband likes the Happy Family and I get Royal Chicken! Great food delivered to your door! MAMA is not cooking tonight! Thanks Ambrosia! PS It is also a really beautiful dinning room inside. It is one of the prettiest restaurant interiors in Greeley!

tonight I ordered and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I go to pick up my order and end up waiting 45 minutes demand my money back and leave after wasting an hour of my life with no food. Wasn’t offered a drink… not even a seat. I LITERALLY stood by the front door for 45 minutes, When I attempted to speak to the people behind the sushi counter all the did was stare. No sorry… no explanation… no offer to have food soon. CRICKETS is all I heard.

We have been going here for years and absolutely love it! So much so that the kids get mad when we want to go again and again. Excellent food and ambiance. Very fairly priced.

This place is great. This is a must go whenever I am back in town. All the dishes are fresh and crispy, nothing is mushy or soft like you would see at some other Chinese/Asian joints. The sushi is also very good which is great because my wife loves sushi. I have never had bad food or a bad experience at this place.

Would not say this is the best Asian food in Greeley. Upscale, yes, but as far as getting the order right no. Especially on deliveries. Pleasant dining experience otherwise. I think the quality has gone down over the years.

Excellent service and good sushi for Greeley — I was happy to find more than one roll that was shellfish free. Loved the White Tiger roll!

I guess this place qualifies as «upscale» in the dismal backwater of Greeley, CO, but it seriously is the ONLY thing I miss about the town since I moved back to Seattle. It’s a bit spendy for its location, but it’s one of the better places to eat in town. I was wary of ordering sushi so far inland, but after being away from the coast for months, it was either 1) I get sushi in me right away or 2) I would surely perish. I went for option 1, and Ambrosia did not disappoint me. I became completely addicted to their delicious White Tiger roll — three kinds of salmon wrapped in white soy paper with black and white sesame seeds added for a little extra«crunch.» I don’t think I’ve had a sushi roll outside of Japan that I have loved so well. Their chicken panang is also pretty exceptional, and their sesame chicken is a little on the too-sweet side, but definitely hits the spot. Took my father and stepmother here once when they were passing through town, and it seemed like a hit with everyone all around. My mother and I were absolute junkies for the place, though. Seriously one of the few decent places in Greeley I ever found to eat at. On the downside, the service can be a bit lackluster at times, and the price tag is very high for the podunk neighbourhood it’s in. I was not incredibly impressed with their General Tso chicken the one time I ordered it. They do delivery and will make you a pick-up order if you call ahead, which is nice if you prefer, as I do, to lounge around the house in your pajamas and watch movies while you stuff your fat face with sushi.

I want to give it 3.5 stars. It’s not quite worth 4 stars, but it’s not really 3 stars. When I first moved here from the East Coast, I started my quest for Chinese food. We tried another place and hated it. Someone suggested this place. I like it because it’s got Chinese, Thai and Sushi. Sushi: Their sushi is pretty good. It’s not the best I have ever had but it’s really good. Probably worth 4 stars on it’s own. It’s annoying that Sweet Potato Tempura rolls aren’t on the menu, but they will make them if you ask. I like the spicy tuna roll, the ambrosia maki roll, the green roll and a few others. The seaweed salad is delicious, as is the green salad. I always ask for extra dressing, it’s so good! I then use it the next few on my salads, seriously soo sooo good. Chinese: Eh, it’s not bad but it’s not great. Maybe i think it’s not great because it’s not what I’m used to. But it’s good, and delicious. The Lo Mein is really good. The egg rolls(IMO) aren’t egg rolls. They’re spring rolls. I haven’t found a decent egg roll out here yet. The sesame chicken, sesame shrimp, and sesame scallops are all very good, but again a little different from back home. My boyfriend once ordered the steamed chicken with garlic sauce on the side, and the garlic sauce was HORRIBLE. It was VERY salty and like thick concentrated soy sauce. We had to throw the whole thing out. Thai: The drunken noodles are really good. Also the Curries are all very good. I really like the Pineapple Curry. They also have a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl.(The only problem is asked for no nuts, explained I was allergic and it still had nuts on it). The pad thai is also very good. The panang curry is very good as well. I have only ever ordered delivery, they have always been prompt and friendly. I don’t know how the inside looks or how the service is. So bottom line, not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but the best option in the area, I think their Thai and Sushi are their stronger points. Usually while ordering there is no language barrier on the phone, so that’s a plus.

While the food was good, it took over 30 minutes from when part of our party received their food for the rest to receive theirs(according to the waiter, he forgot to put in the hot food orders when he put in the sushi orders. I’ve been a waiter and have no idea how you do that when you’ve written down everyone’s orders). When I tried to discuss this with the manager she was incredibly rude, constantly interrupted and would not listen; her excuse was simply«We’re busy,» which was not exactly true. They weren’t many empty tables, but they were by no means full up. I won’t be coming back with horrible customer service like this.

The absolute BEST sushi I’ve had outside of Asia. What a surprise this place is in Greeley, CO… this is better than all the sushi I’ve ever had in California(not that I’ve had a lot in CA).

I just can’t stand packaged sushi any longer. So Ambrosia is a great pick for me. I do like their sushi and sashimi, quite a bit. My favorite though, is the seaweed salad. Not because it is exceptional; it wouldn’t take much to make it better. But where else can I get good seaweed in Greeley? Well, there are one or two places, but I like Ambrosia’s seaweed salad more than I do the others. The dining room layout is open and seating is comfortable without being secluded. I like taking a glance at the sushi bar. I went in for take-out one time. The quality was as good as you’ll get at a table.

After spending most of the day with far too many obnoxious relatives, my boyfriend and I set out to find some alcohol. And possibly a small dinner, but mostly alcohol. This was at about 8pm on Christmas night. In Greeley. Needless to say, we didn’t have a whole lot of options, and we ended up at Ambrosia. We were pleasantly surprised at both the price and potency of their Volcano drinks. The selection of sushi we chose wasn’t exactly bursting with freshness – but again, it was Christmas night. It was edible. I wish I’d had some warning that the Jalapeño Roll was deep-fried(blech!), but I suppose that’s what I get for thinking anything with Jalapeño in the name would be a good idea at an Asian restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly. The interior appears nice enough, but something just seemed… off to me. Maybe it’s just the Greeley air. All in all, nothing special, though certainly better than we expected. Good to know there’s at least one decent place in Greeley to sneak off to after an agonizing holiday dinner.
