All the basics and little things I may need for diy projects or minor repairs in my apartment, I can find in here. But it is very much a bare bones hardware store, though they fit a surprising amount into such a tiny space. I’ve never been asked if I needed help while perusing the store, I have to find someone if I have a question, but the staff at the counter has always been friendly. It sure beats getting lost in Home Depot if you need just a few things.

You will not find lumber, lighting, toilets, mulch, BBQ grills, appliances, or any large items here. You will find more of those little bits and pieces you need to repair that lamp or faucet or replace a missing bolt or screw than in any big box store. Two whole aisles of well marked drawers of them, open rather than in plastic bags so you can be certain that you get the one that mates to the one that needs replacing. You will also find friendly people and a huge selection of keys ready to be ground. And they do auto keys as well. I’m actually glad it’s a tiny shop, so they can easily make the rent and stay in business. A definite addition to my mental yellow pages.

If you need a good hardware store that has a lot of personal service by people who know what they’re talking about… this is the place. Prices are decent. They have a good variety of your basic hardware needs and the owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Oh…and they make keys!
