This particular Dairy Queen(DQ) is in the food court at Southridge Mall. It does’t usually have a long line because they’re pretty good at getting the food up quickly. Unfortunately, that’s where the good ends for them. Their food is not very good and if you’re lucky it’s warm. The food is worse then food at a non-mall located DQ. If you’re feeling DQ, I highly recommend you go to anyone that is NOT in a mall.

Dairy Queen times have changed. Still there are the original items but they’re packaged like the buster bars and dilly bars. The service was pretty quick and staff seems to have been good or maybe it was they had no customers waiting in line that it moved by quickly. The dipped cones we ordered tasted a little sour like the ice milk was a little spoiled but it was fine just didn’t taste like it did before. Possibly a new recipe?! Anyway it was just okay. Little over priced but businesses must stay alive to survive with higher prices if no ones ever in line.

The is not the Orange Julius I fondly remember from years ago when I lived on the Eastside. I knew I was in trouble when I ordered my Strawberry Julius and the girl behind the counter just pressed a button and dispensed it from a machine like a soda. Next time I’ll just order off the Dairy Queen side and get a Chocolate Malt.
