We decided to give Bei Jing House a try and I would have to say the food was pretty good. We ordered a little bit of everything. The chicken wings, chicken fingers and boneless spare ribs(not fatty at all, nice lean cuts of meat) were great. The only thing i didn’t like was the fried rice, it was a little bland. It’s not the traditional fried rice made with soy sauce, it’s more like yellow rice with veggies and pork in it. Overall the food was pretty good, I would definitely order from them again.

Horrible customer service. My order was incorrect, and their solution was to have me order it again… and pay for it. They lost a loyal customer. Too bad, since I used to go here frequently and recommend it to others. I won’t be doing either, anymore.

You never really know what to expect when you decide on lunch from a predominately Chinese American take out restaurant. In this case, it was an absolutely wonderful experience with food quality you seldom see in that type of venue. They have a «super Combo» meal where you select one entrée item from column(A) and two sides from column(B). At first bite the fried rice was an eye opener, so often it is a mere after thought with little flavor used to bulk up the plate and in most cases not worth a single mouthful. The fried rice at Bei Jing was one of the best preparations of that dish I have had outside of a major Chinatown, frankly I was stunned at how good it was compared to what I usually get in the average take out restaurant. The main entrée was Spicy Chicken, here again a dish solidly prepared, with excellent flavor and a spice note that was dead on. How many times do you see something advertised as spicy only to wonder after the first bite if you or the cook has lost his or her taste buds for hot and spicy, friends you wont have that problem at B J it is as advertized. My first side from column(B) was egg rolls which are always a crap shoot as the vast majority of restaurants buy them frozen and cook them to order. If you start with good quality frozen egg roll which has been properly slaked(defrosted under refrigeration) fried at the proper temperature of 360 degrees, then you are going to have an above average product which will be crispy not oily with all the flavor you would expect from a good egg roll. In my opinion Bei Jing does that and does it very nicely I might add. My second side was boneless spareribs prepared like a typical Char Sui using a slightly different cut of pork, here again the meat was tender and the sauce was delightful. On this particular day it was mom who cooked my meal so I can’t vouch for dad’s ability but I do know this, if I am ever in that area again I will not hesitate to stop in for lunch as this is one experience I sure would like to repeat.

I got the General Tsao’s chicken lunch platter and a side order of chicken wings today. The wings were cooked very perfectly and the General Tsao was very tasty, better than Panda Express(I’m from CA) in terms of size and taste.

Tonight we decided to try Beijing House for the first time and found it to be fairly good. We purchased two of the«Super Combos» and found the portions to be really large. The fried rice was not overly greasy, and the General Tso’s was great as well. The spear ribs were average, and the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. The other great part about this restaurant is the staff at Beijing House. When we went to order we were greeted by a little girl and a woman whom we believed to be her mother. The little girl was extremely sweet, and had great customer services skills for such a young person. The other staff members were great as well and made us feel welcomed. The dining area in the restaurant was extremely clean and like the previous review stated, the furniture was a blast from the past. Final thoughts: Good food, great staff, and reasonable prices.

Beijing House is really good! The décor inside is lifealtering, huge utensils on the wall, gangsta tables that are a truly psychedelic, sort of an alice in wonderland pimp vybe! Not cheap, but not too expensive either, friendly employees and nice kids hanging out here too! I recommend!

Not bad, not great. The only reason we drove into the parking lot was to stop in at the Cumberland Farms next door. After living off camp food/pizza for 4 days, I had a craving for Chinese, and eating at a table with flooring underneath. The place had 4 tables and a solid floor. They had a skeleton crew of 2 working the store, but there was only a slightly longer than usual wait for the food. Portion size is very average. They are CLOSED on Tuesdays but were once closed on Thursdays. Every takeout menu has this handwritten adjustment. An overall satisfactory experience.

Americanized Chinese all tastes pretty similar to me. It’s either really awful or pretty decent. I’d say this was pretty decent. Everyone seemed to be content with their meals so no complaints. Quick service but no restroom in the place which kind of irked me. You’re better off picking up.

NOT good Chinese Cuisine. But, Good, cheap, fast Chinese food.(read– this is American Take-Out. Not killer Chinese Specialties– where do you get that???) The best in this town, for sure.
