I noticed they had some new items on their menu, so I decided to try their Banh Mi, a Vietnamese sub sandwich with pork, cilantro, carrots, daikon, and jalapeño. I have never had Banh Mi before but I’m an adventurous eater and it sounded yummy. Overall, I was quite disappointed in the sandwich. There was very little pork on it, to the point I barely tasted it. The part I did taste was dry and bland. It was overwhelmed by the bread for the most part. They completely forgot the jalapeño and I had to ask for a side of it. Mostly the sandwich tasted like bread and cilantro. I found myself gulping water in between bites to help with the dryness the bread had left. The pasta salad side was good and service was good overall. I’ll go back and stick with the tried and true menu items. But the Banh Mi is one that should never had made the new menu item list.

Brixx is a nice place to have an IPA and pizza. I like the that you can order regular dough or wheat. Many franchise places like this are more expensive. The service is always good at this location. The beer selection is great if you wish to drink a cold one.

Had lunch with a friend here today and the service and food were great. Sam was our server and she did an excellent job. Will definitely make this a regular lunch spot. Ordered the Argula and Pear Salad with Margherita pizza. It was plenty filling. Not too heavy but enough to make you smile.

Pizza’s not really all that good, asked for a Blue Moon which they didn’t have but they charged $ 5.50 for a bottle of some generic substitute beer

The pear pizza is heavenly. We have someone in our group allergic to mold so gorgonzola wasn’t an option. Server let us substitute arugula instead… fantastic. The slices were eaten in 5 minutes… even the meat and cheese lovers in our group loved this pizza.

On one occasion I ordered a pretty standard margarita(that was on the drink menu) and the bartender came to my table to ask me how to make it, as she knew I had bartending experience… That was kinda awkward. Anyways, the food is always good and I like the servers there too. Will most likely go back again.

I hooked up with Lefty for a quick lunch this day. The store opened at 11am and we rolled in at 11:10, so no crowd here. We were seated quickly but our server lacked motivation. I had to search her out on multiple occasions(once to order and again to pick up my check). Not good for a spot with only 2 tables seated. I will tell you that once we placed our order, the food was speedy to the table. I went with Lunch combo, a personal sized pizza with a small salad on the side($ 7.95). I chose The Bronx Bomber(sausage, pepperoni, and prosciutto) along with a Brixx salad(it has pistachios, feta, and vinaigrette dressing) The pizza crust is nicely hand tossed and not too thin. I would like the bottom just a touch more crisp, but was okay. The meats were good to me; sausage had a little kick, pepperoni not too oily, and the ham was just salty enough. The salad had a nice blend and good flavor. It was starving for a little more dressing but that was easily remedied. Lefty went with some sort of chicken pizza. Whatever she ordered is not what was set on the table, but they corrected it quickly and gave us a credit for the error(Free Pizza!). Good Job here! They have what seems to be a nice bar here. But unfortunately I am unable to partake midday on a Monday :0/ It was not a great visit but it was far from horrible. The food is good and it’s out of the kitchen pretty fast. This is what is needed for lunch break.

Brixx is my favorite pizza place in the Triad. I prefer the thin, crispy California-style pizza with creative toppings most of the time. The wood fired oven gives everything a nice smoky touch. I usually start with the Hummus Trio which comes with black bean, roasted red pepper, traditional and pita chips that have been crisped up in the oven. These are a little thicker than most, but all three are very flavorful. All of their pizzas are one size, around 9 – 10, and enough for two people with an appetizer or salad. They’re all of the thin crust style and the crust has a nice chew to it. The Spicy Shrimp is my favorite with sriracha sauce, roasted red peppers, goat cheese and fresh basil. The Caribbean Jerk pizza is another favorite and it has jerk chicken pieces, roasted red peppers, red onion, cilantro, pineapple and gouda cheese. I tried the Pimento Cheese pizza which comes with bacon, spinach, roasted red peppers and a jalapeño pimento cheese as the base. It was good but toppings were a bit light, more pimento cheese would have made this a much better pizza. Service here has always been very prompt and attentive with quick refills on drinks and check-ups to make sure everything was perfect. Groupon often runs very good deals for this location and the one in Burlington, NC at Alamance Crossing. That location is a bit smaller, but has the same consistency in service and quality,

One my most favorite places. I wish it were closer to where I live because I would be there two or three times a night. Pros: Great food. The pizza is very good. The hummus appetizer is God as well. They have a groupon. A friend and I take turns buying the groupon too save money. They have a very good beer selection of craft beers. Monday nights they have $ 2.50 drafts on most all of their craft draft brews. They have other specials on other nights with a $ 3.50 draft special most every other night. The wait staff is great and friendly. Cons: The only con is that it can be crowded.

Great food & pretty good service. Defiantly worth the groupon will return! We also tried the spinach and artichoke dip which was amazing & the bread was very well seasoned. Brought home a dessert pizza and can’t wait to dig in! Server was a little scattered but he seemed to have tables all over so we don’t blame him at all, but we had 3 different people stop by the table and still took like 5 minutes to grab a water. Great food would be nice to see more organized staff.

Outstanding Pizza! Reasonable prices and Great service! I probably would have given five stars but for the noise. And to be fair, we ate outside, by the street and there’s nothing they can do about the street noise, short of relocating. Ooh heck. My bad. It should have been Five stars. This is not your average pizza… Way better!

I wished I had discovered Brixx Wood Fired Pizza sooner — the pizza here is excellent! I got the Wood-Roasted Vegetable($ 9.95) on a whole wheat crust with Vegan cheese — yes, you saw that right. Vegan! As someone who is lactose-intolerant, I was really happy and excited to see the vegan option. The wood-fired crust was perfectly crispy and appropriately thin without breaking apart. The best part(besides the vegan cheese, but I am biased) was the wood-roasted vegetables. Upon opening the box, I thought, «Wow, this pizza looks so healthy!» The crust was topped with generous amount of wild mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and peppers that have all been roasted to perfection. Additionally, the fresh oregano added another dimension of flavor and overall deliciousness.

Generally love this place. They have some creative pizzas with neat toppings. Nothing overly fancy but what they do, they do pretty well. I eat Gluten free pizzas here and they are some of the best I have ever had. My wife’s favorite is the Rustica with prosciutto and artichoke. I don’t come here when she doesn’t get that. I love the spicy shrimp pizza but get them to add some of their spicy sausage to it for an extra pop. They also have a descent salad with chicken but you can up its game with shrimp or salmon. Sometimes we split a house salad and a pizza if we want to eat light. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. TVs on sports channels. Pretty darn good.

If you’re looking for good pizza in Greensboro, you should definitely give Brixx a try! Brixx serves the very thin type of pizza, and it is always delicious! I normally get a pizza called the 4X4(4 meats and 4 cheese) and it is always cooked to perfection! The service at Brixx is normally pretty good and the wait staff is usually very attentive to your needs as a customer. My girlfriend loves the lemonade that they have there! If you have never been to Brixx before, it is definitely worth going to try it out!

I gotta say I’ve been to quite a few Brixx, this is my favorite location so far. Loved the service here! We got a couple of pizzas the Bronx Bomber and the Margherita. Both had plenty of toppings and both were tasty. Had a couple of beers… tangerine wheat. Yum. Can’t complain it was a good meal for a reasonable price.

Great wood fired pizzas that I always feel compelled to eat the whole thing. The beer selection is local, fresh and delicious and it is a great place for the kids to tag along for an early dinner. I will be back.

I have be meaning to try Brixx for a very long time. It’s on the complete other side of town from where I normally am in Greensboro. I paid Brixx a visit on a Friday afternoon, between lunch and dinner. There was no wait and there were only 2 other groups in the whole restaurant. Brixx has a very nice, local beer selection. I ordered a Margherita pizza… which is pretty much just cheese, sliced tomato, and basil. There is no tomato sauce on this pizza… I think that there is olive oil underneath the cheese. The crust is super thin and crispy. The edges get nicely toasted from the wood fired grill. I enjoyed the taste and texture of the pizza. I could see how some people may not be a fan of this pizza and would find it bland or boring… but I really like how simple it is. If you read the description and feel that it sounds boring, don’t order it and be disappointed. Try one of the other pizzas. My brother let me try his buffalo chicken pizza and it had plenty of flavor and a little«zing» to it. I REALLY wanted to order one of those smores dessert pizzas… unfortunately my Red Oak Amber Draft and my pizza filled me up. I will definitely be back to try it out next time.

After several years of reminding each other that we needed to try the pizza here, we gave it a try today. I guess the delay in trying it was that neither of us is all that much into specialty pizzas with exotic toppings(at least exotic as to pizza). But sometimes you just have to say, what the heck! We tried the Margherita($ 9.95) and the Americo($ 8.95) which comes with pepperoni and mushrooms, both 10″ pizzas with traditional crust — you can choose a wheat crust, but I try to limit that kind of wheat intake to breakfast, or the occasional specialty sandwich. We also went in for the Mediterranean Salad($ 6.95 — basically a Greek salad) with sauteed shrimp(our salad was adorned with 8 smallish shrimps for $ 4 — must have been imported, and they flew 1st class). And we decided to try the Meatball Marinera($ 11.95), even though it was served on angel hair pasta — meatballs and red sauce scream for a thicker, more substantial noodle. Salad was ok, nothing special, nothing I’d order again for a combined cost of $ 10.95. The shrimp were, in fact, nice and fresh tasting, but the dressing was a thick, goopy mess that simply sat when added — dressing should coat, that is its purpose — to just sit is neither noble nor inspring, much less tasty. The Meatball Marinera was also ok, just ok — the meatballs were rather bland, and of irregular form — the sauce(what there was of it) was also uninspiring — and the angel hair pasta was without body or substance. The Margherita was nice — the traditional crust is very thin(which I have no problem with) and tasty — the overall flavor was good, but the cheese was irregularily applied — when you hit a bite with plenty of cheese it was very good, without that, you’re basically eating a cracker. The Americo was also just ok(there’s a theme building here) — the cheese, the sauce, and the pepperoni were all sparsely applied — in fact, I could imagine Oliver saying — «Please sir, I want some more.» Just don’t see us ordering from here again. Pretty much meh all around.
