I would give them 5 stars just for the awesome service. It’s not one of those fancy pizza places but a great place to unwind in the evenings or even grab something to eat after the drinks. Being close to the downtown makes it even more easy to have a late night dinner before heading home. Make your own pizza with unlimited toppings … Well that’s a rare find nowadays. They have a decent selection of beers and other drinks.

We ordered a takeaway pizza and garlic knots. The place has little parking. The Pizza we ordered was decent in taste, but the bread was rather chewy. Same was the case with Garlic Knots. We were not impressed.

A Corner Slice, where everybody knows your name! Yes, just like Norm walking into Cheers, I watched person after person walk in greeted by their first name! A old service station turned into neighborhood bar that serves incredibly good pizza! Although small inside, with a small bar greeting you as you step inside, the quaintness is the appeal! They’ll tell you up front that everything is made fresh on the spot. It shows in the freshness of the dough, the crispness of a bell pepper, the softness of their mozzarella cheese, and in the time it takes to get your order. The Garlic Knots were extremely fresh and just a good overall knot! The pizza, pepperoni/onion/green peppers/mushrooms, was made with a incredibly fresh and tasty dough! Even if you want just one slice of pie, that’s fine but you’ll have to wait for it to be individually made! A Corner Slice is my kinda place, and hopefully soon they’ll know my name!

Nice casual community atmosphere. The pizza is delicious, the baked wings were also delicious and the fried mac and cheese was also quite good(try it with marinara). Service is very nice and they have a large selection of craft beer. It’s a great little spot for a casual dinner. They do have small tvs at the bar and on over the larger dining area, but they tvs are still a bit small to call it a real sports bar. In addition to the fabulous pizza they offer sandwiches, salads and appetizer type foods. It’s a great chill spot for a meal!

I came for the pizza by the slice and it was surprisingly good. Nice to see a bar that also does great food. Attentive and friendly service.

I love my bartenders at Corner Slice Joni and Niki know how to take care of everyone! And while the pizza is crispy like I like it, the potato skins are to die for!

Went there early on Friday night to avoid crowd. We ordered a large pepperoni /onion /mushroom. Pizza was great. Ingredients tasted very fresh. One of the better pizzas we had in the area. Also tried the garlic knots as an appetizer and was quite impressed. Very hot and just the right amount of garlic. Decent variety of beers on draft. Overall, a great experience. We’ll be back. Docked them one star for wait on food(about 30 mins with place fairly empty) and the fact that garlic knots were brought out same time as pizza. Kind of defeats the purpose of it being an appetizer. …

Def would prefer to give 4 and a ½ stars on this place. Great food and price points.. Not a full 5 since the seating is a bit uncomfortable but over all a great local place. I had the drink special which was great tasting drink. I forgot the name of it but some of the ingredients in it were cranberry and ginger. I wanted something light to eat, so I order«the Hannah», which was a cheesy goodness creation. It was bigger then I was expecting it to be, it was like a cheese pizza on pita bread. What ever cheese they put on it was wonderful. You could really taste it and could tell it was fresh. I def planning on going back to try their other menu items.

This is a little pub/restaurant that serves some decent beer and pizza and food. It’s nothing really too fancy, there are quite a few menu items here, some of which are very interesting(such as a pizza with horseradish sauce). The cheese on the pizza is the best, it was very fresh. They also have mac and cheese bites, and some great daily specials on beer which changes daily. I thought the prices were a little disproportionate for what you get, since the slice of pizza was very small. The service was good, but the place was understaffed and served by only one person who operated the bar and the tables during a busy lunch hour. The service was very slow as a result, but she did a great job juggling all the responsibilities. In all this is a good place that would probably visit again in the future. The food and service were decent and I really enjoyed my quick visit. I will be back again.

I love this spot for lunch, and I think its unfortunate that there usually aren’t many customers! We’ve never ordered their pizza but we always get sandwhiches with a side salad. Great flavor, crispy bread, plenty of bang for your buck. Our favorites are the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Tomtom. If you’ve only been here for pizza and thought it was mediocre, give their sandwhiches a try – best I’ve had in Greensboro!

FINALLY someone can make a thin crust pizza that is crispy on the bottom! Plus the cheese was gooey and hot without scalding your mouth. Next time I’m in town I’ll bring the family and friends

This was my second time going to The Corner Slice. I really love this place! The atmosphere is so welcoming for a bar/restaurant. The pizza is delicious… doesn’t matter which kind you get. My personal fave is the Hendrix and I sub out the bacon for spinach. The bartenders are friendly and make the best drinks!

Enjoyed the pleasure of meeting Joanie at the Corner Slice. She was attentive and a breath of fresh air. We got«The Park» Pizza to go and it was delicious! It had the right amount of sauce, fresh ingredients and the crust was thicker than I usually like but not filling. I also did not have any acid reflex later that night. It was our first trip there and we will definitely plan to come back. Well worth a visit.

I went in for lunch 5 deep. This is not a good group size here due to even number seating arrangements. Nonetheless, our service was friendly and full of recommendations. This seems to be a spot that would be cool to grab a post workday cocktail. My group(4+1, Phil threw off the balance), went with 2 pies; the Park and the one with the ranch flavored sauce. Both pies were tasty, full of cheese and the veggies were perfect. I was a skeptic on getting a ranch flavored sauce but they pull it off nicely here. The crusts were flavorful BUT not to my expectations of what a pizza spot would serve. They were kinda soft throughout but not too thick which is a plus. The bottom needed a little crispness for my taste or should I say my preferred texture. because they were good in taste. All in all a nice place with good service, Don’t roll with a party that’s deep if you plan to sit, and take a chance on the menu. I will happily hit this place up again.

This might be my new pizza spot! This is a small pizza pub with great pizza! Sat down and looked over the menu to find some creative menu items such as a pizza with thousand island dressing, one with horseradish sauce, and a Philly cheesesteak with pimento cheese. At some point I will try these due to my first experience which was outstanding but today I had«The Park.» This pizza was perfect from crust up. The crust was perfect in that it wasn’t so thick that you were overwhelmed with bread, but it also was not too thin where you felt as if you were eating a pizza on a saltine cracker. The crust also had great flavor. The toppings were fresh and abundant as well as the pizza had just the right amount of sauce. Now for the service… There is mystery waitress/bartender that roams back and forth between Fishers and The Corner Slice providing excellent knowledge of the menu and spot on recommendations. The service was spot on and our drinks never had the opportunity to run dry. The Corner Slice is a pub I will visit again very soon due to the great staff, amazing food, and the perfect little location.

Cute little Pizzaria and bar in downtown Greensboro. My colleague and I dropped in for dinner and I’m glad we did. We shared the cheese/jalapeño dip appetizer and a large ‘supreme’ pizza. Both were very flavorful and the service was attentive. If I’m in town again, I’ll definitely swing by for a pizza and beer.

It’s sort of like a Cici’s with beer. The pizza is very average, but they typically have nice beer selections and the prices for everything are very reasonable. Went there a couple weeks ago and ordered my standard pizza — pepperoni and mushroom. They had their own variety that included red onion, so I went for it and it was a nice pairing. However, the pizza crust, sauce and toppings were all just average, nothing special. The location is very cool and intimate and has a nice neighborhood setting and our service was very good and was helpful in recommending a beer for my girlfriend. I’d definitely go back to have a beer, but not necessarily a pizza.

The Corner Slice defines«neighborhood pizza place.» The pizzas are all named for streets in the surrounding historic community of Fisher Park and, if you come more than twice, it seems like everyone knows you by name. It’s convenient for the locals who can walk there. Driving is a challenge because the parking lot is difficult to say the least. Fortunately, there’s additional parking in adjacent lots nearby. Walk in and seat yourself. You’ll immediately notice the friendly atmosphere. Seating is available both inside and out. If you choose to eat outside, you’ll order via a window that opens into the bar. If you’re lucky enough to sit inside at the bar near the window, you’ll be deafened by the loud blower that comes on when the window opens. In other words, don’t sit near the window! Although the chairs aren’t the most comfortable, the ever-changing beer list and creative menu make up for them. I’m a fan of the Isabel, which has ranch, diced tomato, onions, bacon, and roasted chicken. In short, the Corner Slice is a great neighborhood bar that happens to serve some pretty decent food.
