Finally got around to trying the food here again, and though consistent quality has been a struggle here, when it is good, it is very, very good — and this time around it was excellent, fruit to nuts, well not specifically that, but you know what I mean. The Stuffed Grape Leaves(5 for $ 6.99), were a bit on the wet side, and more lemony than most, but still an item I liked — Alice, not so much. The Gyro with Pasta Salad as a side was very, very nice — plenty of flavor and well sized. I also added a cup of soup, and they didn’t tell me what it was, and after tasting it, I still don’t know. The Baba Ghannoug and the Hummus are outstanding here, and today was no exception — though the cut pita here is rather ordinary. The Sambosa was very, very nice with some nice spice levels. The Mac & Cheese was a no show! The final item was the ½ Moroccan Chicken with Egyptian Rice and Marinated Mushrooms. The chicken is excellent, though there is a spice/herb combination that not all will enjoy, but I’m loving it! The Egyptian Rice was nice, though lacking some intensity in flavor enjoyed previously. The mushrooms fall in the category of «an acquired taste», and I ain’t there yet! Enjoyed this meal very much!
