This place continues to deliver in quality and value. We had the Club Sandwich Combo($ 7.65) and the Garden Salad W/Grilled Chicken Combo($ 8.45). This was the first time trying the chicken salad, and it was excellent, and huge. The Club Sandwich was as good as usual, and both combs are nice values.

Wonderful salad dressing. I had the falafel wrap with tazaki sauce. I needed more sauce. It seemed like a good value with the quality and amount of food you received. Clean and nice restaurant. Good service.

I tried to go here today for lunch, but there wasn’t a single parking space available in the entire parking lot. I’m giving two stars because, despite the fact I couldn’t eat here, it must be good food considering all of Greensboro was here at noon. Except me. I went elsewhere.

This ends up being our default restaurant for the simple reason that every single person in our family loves this place. We are a family divided when trying to choose a place to eat. It is an annoying 20 minutes of the«where do you want to eat» game, and then we finally pick somewhere. Not just any Greek place will do… we have to go to either this one or the one on Battleground. Their chicken, lemon, rice soup is the best thing on the planet. I crave this soup on a weekly basis, and I have tried and tried to re-create it at home to no avail. It has the perfect little touch of lemon, and I honestly think I could eat this every. single. day. I like to order 2 single chicken skewers and a giant soup. Everything think I have ever ordered has been amazing. I LOVE that for dinner at the Battleground location, they have done away with the styrofoam… hooray! Go check this place out and get hooked like we are!

We have enjoyed eating at Mythos for several years. The food is consistently very good and reasonably priced. Everything on the menu is wonderful — it would be hard to mention just a few items. The owners and staff are so nice and welcoming — which is one of the reasons we eat at Mythos about once a week. They recently catered our son’s wedding — such a pleasure to work with Eddie and his staff. They delivered and set up the food and then picked up their equipment later that evening. They went out of their way to work with our schedule. All of our guests loved the meal and there was more than enough food. We liked the old location, but love the new location that they recently moved to. There are so many people that like Mythos and dine there often — this new location has more room and better parking to accommodate everyone.

I love Mythos! Although I’ve lived close to this restaurant for years I only started visiting about a year ago, an now on an almost weekly basis. One thing you’ll find out if you’re a frequent customer is that the staff seems to remember you each time you show up. They are welcoming and friendly, and since we go for dinner, put up with our dilly dallying over what we’re going to order. And that’s because everything is so good! The subs, the spaghetti(yes, spaghetti), the Greek plates and even the BLT are great. The new location is super — there is room to wait for your table if necessary, they now have icy cold mugs for beer, and there is plenty of parking!

Mythos grill. I came here on the recommendation of a friend wanting to stop for lunch. It was a good call too. There is plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant the décor is very cool, with textured plaster walls and chair rail mounding with wainscoting. It felt like home when I walked in. The restrooms were clean, stocked and well lit. As you know I’m not a fan of ordering at a register and waiting on food, but here their process is fast, efficient, and well tuned. They bring the food to you after you order, and I didnt even have a number! The wait staff will bring you refills so I’m already liking this place. I drink a lot of tea, and this young fellow kept my glass full. They have a full menu with some popular items listed as combos on the wall. So its easy to make a choice while ordering even if you dont know what you want. They have beer and wine chilled in a display case. I ordered the old standby, #1 a gyro wrap. The food is cooked fresh while you wait after your order is placed. This thing was loaded with meat, freshly cooked and prepared. I ordered it without tomato, and they had it correct. The lettuce was fresh, and the sour crème sauce was very good also. The meat was very good with a rich fresh taste without being too heavy. Very nicely done. Perfectly spiced. The fries were cooked fresh and were also nicely done. Everything was hot and fresh tasting, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The price for lunch was great, the gyro wrap, fries, and drink cost $ 7.45 plus tax. It was a late lunch and still the restaurant was full and obviously busy. The wait staff was doing a great job managing the dining room. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. and you can tell. Service was excellent, so was the food. Once again when people care about the food they serve its obvious. This will be a regular stop on my list now for sure. Recommended.

Best chicken souvlaki(sp?) in town! It never disappoints, there’s a reason they are almost always busy. Good price, good service, great food; what else do you want? BTW who the hell gives a bad review because the parking was full at peak hours and they didn’t even TRY the food?!

Stand in line. Order. Pay. Wait. Sit. Eat. Leave. That’s the usual spiel at Mythos. It’s a casual place for lunch with Greek the way you’ll like it. Not fancy but good. It’s liked by so many people that you may have to be patient for few minutes. However, it will be worth it. The staff is super friendly and has everything well organized. They will help you secure a table and bring out your food fresh and tastefully prepared. It’s fun to just go there for lunch. I always feel like I’m at the right place during that hour. While the immediate parking lot may get tight and crowded, you have a whole strip mall parking plaza to accommodate the overflow if necessary(my vehicle is very big, so I like room to maneuver). The servers then bring your food to you. I have been here several times and always order the Gyro Sandwich lunch special — it comes with fries but you can substitute them for their delicious avgolemono soup — I always do! The chicken souvlaka and pork souvlaki are just like the ones I had during my last vacation in Greece. The soup is made with a light chicken broth, eggs and lemon and is comforting and warming and tasty and always what I am craving. The gyro sandwich is one of the best I have had in this area — the pita bread must be freshly made, it is always tender and just the right thickness, the gyro meat is fantastic and a lot of it comes in the sandwich, along with lettuce, tomatoes and txatziki sauce, I think. I often can’t finish it and take the leftovers home and they are excellent! My friend has ordered the Skewer Chicken with rice and the Falafel plate and has enjoyed them both a lot. Baklava is the perfect desert. I highly recommend this place if you are craving Greek food in a pleasant setting and relaxing atmosphere. As mentioned, the servers are all very helpful and quick to refill your drink, bring you a take home box, etc Mythos is an honest joint that takes care of its customer with delicious food, a good atmosphere, and excellent serve.

The service was awful. I and a friend went on a weekday for lunch, it was VERY crowded. My friend got in line to order while I grabbed the last available table. A couple minutes later the owner and a couple of the staff came over and told me I had to give up my table because people who already had their food needed to sit down. I explained that my friend was ordering and we too would need a seat as well. He said he understood, but I still had to get up. My friend saw what was happening and came over and said we were leaving. We will never eat there again. That’s just not the way to do business. All customers should be treated equally. I sent an email to Mythos detailing the situation, I never received a response.

If they’d only wear gloves when they handle the food Just looking at those mangy cooks fingering the meat How many butt scratches go straight to the entre? Food was ok Thank god I didn’t catch a communicable disease Put some gloves on!!!

Fast delicious food and great service. It’s also incredibly consistent — I’ve gotten takeout there probably 50 times over the last 5 years and the food has always been great, they’ve never messed up an order, and service is always friendly. Their meats and kabobs are well-seasoned — I would say perfectly so, but if you’re watching your salt intake you may find it to be a bit much. The wraps are huge and more than enough for a meal if you get them with fries. The rice is deliciously savory, cooked with onions in broth. Salads are always good, with plenty of veggies and feta, and a tangy homemade Greek dressing. Probably my biggest gripe: they use shredded iceberg lettuce as a salad base, which is always fresh and crunchy but not the most flavorful. But perhaps my favorite thing, a hidden gem on their menu — the avgolemono(chicken and rice soup). It’s rich and tangy, full of rice and juicy pieces of chicken. I eat it whenever I’m sick and I’m convinced it has curative properties.

Pros: — Excellent Greek and Mediterranean fare! If you get their combination platter, you can sample the best that Mythos has to offer, and it’s all delicious. Their chicken is great, and their pita bread seems lightly fried to give it a crispness that I loved. It’s probably the best pita bread I’ve ever had. — The value is outstanding. In addition to having a very affordable kids menu, their regular menu is ridiculously inexpensive. My family of three stuffed ourselves for under $ 25 after gratuity. — The staff were very friendly. One of the servers offered to get my son a bandaid because he had just scraped his knee. They were very patient with us as we perused their expansive menu, and were very attentive throughout. Cons: — There was only one washroom for each gender. For a restaurant that can potentially seat 80+ people, a greater restroom capacity is needed. Overall: Outstanding quality food at a very affordable price. Highly recommended.

When we walked into Mythos, we could quickly see how popular it is. Even at 1:30 on a Saturday, nearly every table was occupied. Unfortunately, the restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth, but it was my fault. Not theirs. You see, the last bite of a meal is extremely important to me and I chose poorly. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki. It was perfectly seasoned and moist. The salad, of which I ordered a double portion, was a great mix of lettuce, cucumbers, feta, and onions. I wish I’d gotten more than two olives, though. So, what was that last bite? A bland piece of pita bread. I should have saved a chunk of that perfectly prepared chicken for the end. I wouldn’t have been nearly as disappointed.

Perfecto. Dined in during dinner service. Food was great. Quality outstanding, service superb. 100 sanitation score. Clean restrooms. Ordered Original Gyro with Fries and Greek Salad. Kinda disappointed about having to pay .60 for ranch but the food hits the spot.

Got take-out for lunch yesterday and was happy that Unilocal led me to another great local joint. Must mention– it was snowing when I arrived(a rarity in Greensboro) and it was still packed… there may not have been even one free table in the whole big place. I ordered a greek salad with grilled chicken and a cup of tatziki. It came with a soda for I think roughly $ 8.50, including tax. The salad was pretty tasty… good balance of lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, olives, feta, delicious, flavorful grilled chicken, and the best part was the truly phenomenal tatziki. It’s thick here, flavored nicely with garlic and cucumber– not too garlicky… done to perfection. I’d give this place 4.5 stars if I could except for the fact that they forgot to include pita in my order and when I called it in they told me that it did indeed come with pita. Thankfully there were some little crackers included to scoop up the tatziki with, or I literally might have cried.

If it wasn’t for a gift certificate I had won at the Greensboro Greek Festival, I probably would not have stopped here. That would have a been big mistake. Coming from Winston-Salem, I wouldn’t really travel to Greensboro to eat but I did need to use my prize. We were there for lunch time, and it was quite crowded. However, the staff is very attentive and they ensure that customers are seated in an orderly manner. I opted to get the gyro plate with a greek salad, while my parents ordered a spinach pie and a Moussaka. The gyro plate was fantastic and the meat used was delicious. The portion was very generous and can fill you up for a long time. My parents were also very complimentary of the food they received and we all emptied our plates, which is a tough task. It’s the first time I can remember that we did not need a take home bag and we were stuffed. The restaurant itself is very clean and has some great décor, headlined by a mural on the side wall. By very clean, I mean that it’s immaculate. It’s the first restaurant that I’ve seen in North Carolina with an «A 100» rating, and this is something that they can be very proud of. The manager was also very friendly and even knew I had come from the Greek fest(which was a month earlier). He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job even during the stressful lunch rush, and I could tell his enthusiasm carried over to his employees. They’ve done a remarkable job here from start to finish. Needless to say, I will be coming back in the future, and without a coupon.
