Everything went ok. Good service and good food. They can work on the coffee preparation a little more, it was a little too light for me and companions. The pricing is always good. Enjoy your visit.

Cracker Barrel is always the one we go to when we absolutely cannot think of anywhere else to go. Food quality seems to have gone down some. Just not as good as it once was. Seems like the portions have gotten smaller but the prices have not gone down. A lot of better food on Gville. Breakfast and coffee are always good.

Hanging out in Greenville this weekend and we stopped here with the family to have breakfast. Overall, everything went well. We had a party of 9 and was seated in less then 10 minutes despite how busy they looked. Two waitresses served us and did a great job. Everyone’s orders went in smoothly and was all served our food in a reasonable timeframe. The food was really good as usual and they was able to accommodate me by making my French toast with wheat bread. Again I had the momma’s french toast meal and it was really good. Overall, breakfast was great!

Not catered to the middle aged family or younger groups. Forget it if you are a couple, you will be stared at by all the oldies! The food is okay, but very much that commercial sloppy type. I wont be going back anytime soon. The waitress was slow and wasnt friendly.

Why do I return here… because I have a four year old that loves their pancakes To a Southerner — I am sure this place is great. Slow, passively rude, mumbling staff. Dress code of your finest camo and carharts. Heart attack on a plate specials of grits and cheese/butter, biscuits and gravy. I look around the place and at times, can’t tell if I am in hell or on a filmset for the remake of Deliverance. If I am able to convince the wait staff to not bring me grits, gravy, buscuits and that nasty apple pied stuff — I usually have an edible meal. Pros: Good coffee and pancakes

I’m critical but I can’t give cracker barrel anything less than 5 stars. I have been here several times usually on a weekly basis and every time it’s the same… a pleasant experience. The food is amazing. Country cooking where you can taste the tlc they cook with. Breakfast is served all day which is a plus for those who like to eat breakfast for dinner. My personal favorites are cherry pancakes which are not overwhelmingly sweet at all and their pancakes are always cooked just right. I also enjoy the chicken fried steak which is absolutely mouth watering. If you like home style cooking I highly recommend Cracker Barrel

There is nothing remarkable about Cracker Barrel. The food is acceptable, the prices are reasonable, the service is respectable, and they have a cute store where you can shop either while waiting for your table or the rest of your party to arrive. My boss enjoys having breakfast with the team when he is in town and Cracker Barrel seemed to be a safe choice — or so we thought. The first morning we came here, everything was great. Our server was personable, the food was perfectly adequate and everyone was happy. Not so much our second visit… On our second visit, it was like eating at a totally different restaurant. Both my boss and I ordered the same thing both visits — «Mama’s Pancake Breakfast» for him and«The Cracker Barrel Country Boy Breakfast» for me. Neither entrée looked anything like it had our prior visit. The food looked like it had been thrown onto the plates. My boss’s pancakes were less than half the size they had been our prior visit. They looked ridiculous on the plate. To make matters worse, our server was just unfriendly. When we pointed out an error with one of our orders, she debated it with us until we showed her the menu. Truthfully, this is the only time I’ve ever been this disappointed in what I was served at Cracker Barrel. However things were bad enough that I was glad I didn’t have to go back. Hopefully it was an off-day, but our experience left us all with a bad taste in our mouths. As such, two stars. If I ever go back, I’ll revisit my rating.

As a Cracker Barrel newbie, I didn’t know what to expect. All I know is that I have been on way to many road trips to have never dined at a single Cracker Barrel. Crazy, right? My first suggestion, once you’ve done a quick run through of the general store while you wait, is to wait outside(weather permitting). It gets crowded fast in that shop, with knick knacks all over the place and people walking every which way. Once we were finally seated, our server was very nice and accommodating. Especially since it took me forever to decide what I wanted to eat — and that’s JUST looking at the breakfast menu(gotta do it right, right?). I settled on a special which was granola pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon. The pancakes were so filling that I could only eat one of 3. They were also tasty enough that I didn’t need a side of maple syrup, butter, or honey. They were nice and sweet on their own. Would I come back? Yes(in general, not just this specific CB), as I feel like Cracker Barrel is a road trip must. Would I order the same thing again, I would, but I feel like I need to experience more of the menu.

After moving to Greenville recently, my wife and I went to Cracker Barrel last Sunday after church and were very pleasantly surprised. Being Sunday afternoon, I was expecting a very long wait, as this is one of their busiest times. We were seated within 5 minutes, greeted immediately, and were finished eating and walking out the door within 45 minutes. They serve breakfast all day, which is a huge plus for me. If I don’t get breakfast, I usually stick with the chicken ‘n dumplins platter, which comes with a huge serving of chicken ‘n dumplins and three side items. Their macaroni and cheese and sweet baby carrots are great also! Every meal comes with unlimited homemade biscuits and cornbread. Be sure to ask for the apple butter for the biscuits as well! We will definitely be back!

I’ve always enjoyed cracker barrel. That being said, for some reason I do feel that at the Alabama locations versus the North Carolina locations, there are more racial tensions. The food, though, is delicious and I love places that remind me of Prairie Home Companion.
