Best steamed oysters in town. They are $ 4 a peck cheaper than Wimpys or Mayflower. Go try them you will not be sorry. Great atmosphere if you like sports.

Great home grown hamburger joint. Quick service and great if you can eat out side. Great fry’s and drinks. They have cheer wine on tap. Burgers are fresh and cooked as you order and come out lighting quick

Visited my favorite local burger joint. I always get the same thing and I am never disappointed. The cheeseburger is great and the chilli on top was delicious. Great southern sweet tea.

I’ve only been here once and what I had was pretty darn good.
We decided to sit outside because inside looked pretty crowded. (I will say that I’m glad I did because when I went in to pay, it looked pretty dingy.) The server came out to greet us and hand us our menus after we’d taken our seats. Service is really fast, even for outside. There were three servers coming and going every couple of minutes — to serve the food and to just check up on the patrons.
I ordered the small cheesesteak combo. Combos come with a side of fries and choice of drink — I went with sweet tea. The drink is larrrrrge. The cheesesteak was a little smaller than half the size of your average cheesesteak. It came with grilled onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and cheddar cheese. The bun couldn’t be seen under all of this though. So they do a pretty good job of giving you your fill of stuffings, which is always always a plus. The bun could’ve been a little more toasted but it was still good. The cheesesteak itself was excellent too. My friend is a native Philadelphian and she said this is the closet to an original Philly cheesesteak she could find in the area. Minus the cheddar cheese in place of the provolone, and I’ll say she’s about right. The meat was perfect — because of the look of the place, I thought the meat wouldn’t be very good and would be stringy and hard to chew. Never judge a book by its cover, right? It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Let’s not forget the side! The fries had the crisp crunch! It’s not seasoned, which I was grateful for — but there are salt and pepper shakers and ketchup bottles at the table for you to season as you please.
Atmosphere-​wise, it’s the perfect place to come to with your friends to pop a beer and watch the game. There was a family and an elderly couple when I went, but they were watching the game on TV too. It’s a little strange that Cubbie’s closes so early (9 PM), but I guess they get enough business to be able to do that.

I believe it is very hard to mess up cheeseburger, but I just had cheeseburger has no taste at Cubbie’s. I had cheeseburger all the way-​onions, chili, coleslaw. Meat patty was dices of broken meat with no seasoning, the sauce was too sweet. Fries were soggy. Service was good. Our server was friendly and kept check on us and refill the drink although she did not remember who ordered what. Price was cheap/​reasonable. I really wanted to like this place but failed.

Pretty chill place to just sit outside and have a burger and beer. Nothing more, nothing less. But sometimes less is more.

I had grilled chicken sandwhich which was okay nothing special. French fries were not good. Tea just okay. Cheeseburgers are good there are other places in greenville that have a much better burger. I was eating in there and the owner was having it out with one of his employees. Unprofessional. I will not return for that reason. He has raised his food prices and hard to get a seat in there. Just ok place to eat.

Wow what fast service. Staff really friendly and atmosphere is sports related. Had sweet tea a cheeseburger and fries. All I can say is wow! Great food best in Greenville NC.

Cubbies has really increased their prices. Still good food but too expensive.

Good burgers and fries. Nice selection and fairly priced.
