Kick Back Jack’s

This is one of the worst place to go, eat and watch game. This is a racist place; went with my friends who are different color and the treatment they got at this place is despicable; this place is 18^th century restaurant in 21^st century. Don’t know how they hire these waitresses and people, they don’t care if you are different color. Food is lousy same as this place and waitresses. Talked to manager and he tried to convince that they are not like that but the behavior of the people who works their showed other way.
My suggestion stay away from this 18^th century place or may be the idiots and racists (notorious for KKK) in this Greenville, NC doesn’t care and do not want to think forward.
Just atrocious low class people; not worth this restaurant and spend any money here.

Echoing a lot of other reviews here, but this is a pretty mediocre place. We came here once with my boyfriend’s coworkers.
Very loud with many, many tvs. So if you like that, it’s probably your thing. But I do not. The food was fine, they had a somewhat affordable bucket with alcohol and sugar in it. It was blue. That was alright, but not an incentive to come here.
Our waitress was super nice and that was the best part of our experience here.

The burgers can be cooked any temperature, which isn’t the case for most places in Greenville. This is a kid friendly place because the TVs are loud, it drowns out the sound of young children! ;). We usually done here when we have kids. Outdoor seating is nice too.

Mediocre and underwhelming describes my entire experience at Kick Back Jacks. The food took an extremely long time to come out. Granted it was a holiday weekend, but the restaurant seemed like it was staffed well.
When we got our food, it tasted like it had been microwaved. Not good. The fries had a nice amount of seasoning, but the chicken wings were blah. For the price we paid, Buffalo Wild Wings would have been a better option.
Our server came over probably twice. My husbands drink wasn’t refilled so I gave him the rest of my water.
The only thing that warrants two stars is they did have multiple televisions with a variety of sports on each. I could see this as a good place to watch a game, just skip the food.

It was half-​off wine night and there was a game I wanted to watch with some friends… I thought this would be a great place to go to for the price…
Anyway, if you are coming for anything more than beer and TV’s, prepare to be disappointed. I ordered an asian salad. When my salad arrived I noticed that I did not see any dressing. I looked through the lettuce in an attempt to find a dollop of dressing, and intead I found a DEAD FLY sitting on a lettuce leaf within my salad.
The next time the waitress (who was wonderful by the way) checked on our table, I showed her the fly. She turned on the flashlight from her telephone to look and said, «you are SO getting your food for free.» After she came back from the kitchen she told me the manager believed us and my food will be compensated.
Utterly disgusted with the salad I ordered a plate of french fries. I was thoroughly disappointed that the manger did not bother to come out and speak with my table, let alone apologize for the disgusting mistake. I have worked in corporate kitchens before, I understand flys happen, a manager or cook should at least have the decency to talk the the table affected by the problem.
The waitstaff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was great for watching sports. If you are coming to Kickback Jack’s because you are hungry however, I suggest going anywhere else. My husband ordered the wings and ate two for them, stating you could get better quality for the price at Wings
Over, Buffalo Wild Wings, or even Hooters for the price.
I cannot blame the waitstaff, they are college students working with what the have, but I would like to see the corporate workers showing more pride in what that produce than hiding behind a kitchen.

Great atmosphere and good food. I had the cheese steak with fries, and it was excellent. Others at my table had burgers that they said were good too. A friendly staff as well.

not helpful and couldn’t care less about a request I had that the older manager said would never be a problem, so I just got my purse and left, because you could tell he was on a power trip

When I was north in Philly, I had repeated bad experiences with sports bars. But my grown kids mentioned that they watched a hockey game here, so my wife and I gave it a try for lunch. The place go busy fast at noon. We were seated immediately, and a server took our drink order within seconds. She returned with oversized soft drinks within a minute, returned again quickly to see if we had decided. Cheeseburger (the Tuesday special for 6.99) and a flatbread pizza. The food came quickly. Cheeseburger perfectly med/​rare with fries and small cup of a mildly tangy cheese dipping sauce. The pizza nicely cooked with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, and Italian sausage which added some interest to the taste. The server appeared when we needed her. The manager came by to check our satisfaction.
I especially liked the visual effects. Numerous TV’s of varying sizes and the open concept where you can see the screens even far across the restaurant so you have many points of input without craning your neck. Background music was upbeat and not so loud as to hinder conversation.
When we left, our feeling was that this was a perfect casual lunch.

Service was a bit slow, but friendly and accommodating. Wings were a little overcooked and the dry rub was caked on a bit too much. Not the typical Kickback Jack’s experience I’m used to so I think this was definitely a one-​off situation. I’ll be back to give them another try.

We have been there several Tuesday nights– ½ price wine and $ 5 burgers. I think tonight was our 6^th time going there. It is usually pretty good. My hubby loves the burgers and the fries are crispy, which is how we like them. Tonight, however, the service was terrible and the food was «ok» at best. The waitress could care less and she was absent.
We won’t let one poor time ruin our opinion. We will give it another chance.

The food wasn’t anything special. An average cook could have made the hamburgers served at home. The chicken wings had too much pepper. The pepper was shooting out through my friend’s nose.

For my entrée, I got the Tailgator, which is their appetizer sampler. it had 2 chicken strips, several jalapeño bites, 3 mozzarella sticks, and a few boneless chicken wings. They were all good, except for the boneless chicken wings, which were just okay. The Buffalo Garlic sauce I ordered for the wings was as thin as water and did add taste, but mostly just soaked the batter, ruining any crispy texture that might have been there. The price was over $ 10 for this sampler and I thought that was a dollar or two more than it should have been. For that reason, I’ll probably try something else next time.
My friends got burgers and another got the pizza&salad lunch special, the latter of which turned out to be a great value (because the «half pizza» serving was quite large), and he said it tasted good, too.
To my friend who got a burger, I said ‘the burgers sure look good’ (which they did). To which he responded, «well … they’re pretty good». So I guess they could have been better in his opinion.
The atmosphere was nice. Similar to a Carolina Ale House. Plenty of TVs for sports.

Relaxing sports bar atmosphere, surprisingly great food, great service, and fantastic prices. You can enjoy watching many games while you eat. They definitely have big screen televisions!

Food was good but a cop had to be called in to patrol it was something I’ve never been to a restaurant and a cop is patrolling service was good but I reckon that what you get when going to a bar at least cigarettes don’t kill you while you drive

Bar and grill. Tons of TVs and a bunch of beer on tap. Normal food selections for bar and grills. I ordered the ribs. They were very good. The sauce was just enough and had a slight smoky flavor. The fries were hand cut and the slaw was very tasty. The drinks come in cups that look like they’re 1 liter. Beer selection is numerous with a lot on tap. Beer and wine specials run throughout the week. We went on Tuesday. Domestic pints were 2.75 and premium pints were 3.75. It was also half price wine.
