One of the best burgers in town. Always fresh and the staff is awesome. Love how a large fry is an entire paper bag full. Love the boxes of peanuts. We always enjoy heading over and grabbing a quick good bite to eat.

With this open dinning room and peanut shells on the floor I was surprised at how flavorful this build your own burger joint’s burger really were. The fresh, in house cut, and region grown listed daily French fries are out of this world delicious. The helping of fries requires more than one person to tackle. Great lunch joint. No alcohol is the reason for the 4 stars I give it. To me there is nothing better than a beer with my burger.

I always go to five guys for my burgers, but the price just went up again. It is really too high priced now. Also, I was there last Wednesday and there was a giant roach, about an inch long crawling around the floor. I think they need an exterminator. It really gave me the creeps!

Best burgers around, best fries(hand cut on site) that money can buy. You can have your burger custom made, and it’s fantastic. More expensive than other«fast food» burger joints? Sure, but you get what you pay for. Tip: you don’t need to order a large fries. You will be hard pressed to finish a small order, believe me!

This place has like the absolute best fries and burgers on the Eastern sea board. They have so many options and all toppings are free. The drink station is neat and orderly at all times. This place is a must visit while in Greenville.

I think this the best burger in Greenville. The«small» burger is big enough for the average person. There are also numerous toppings to custom make your burger. One order of fries is enough for at least two people.

Writing a review for Five Guys is a bit like writing a review for McDonald’s. They are pretty much the same everywhere. However, if you’ve never been to a Five Guys, it is worth the trip. Their burgers are very good — big and juicy.(I tend avoid putting mine down, since I have the feeling that it might get messy if you’re picking it up and putting it down all the time.) Everything is cooked to order, so you can have your burger the way want it. Nothing«prefab» here. They claim there are 250,000 ways you can order your burger. I don’t know why, but I like the fact that they have signs up indicating the origin of their food — potatoes from a specific area in Idaho, etc. Speaking of fries, they have malt vinegar for their fries in addition to the normal ketchup. Extra points for that. Their drink machine has enough choices that you could spend hours deciding what you want to drink. I think there were like 20 varieties of Coke — regular, cherry, vanilla, with caffeine, without and so on… Bring your appetite.

It’s 5 guys, what can I say? I like the burgers better in NYC, but then again, it could just be the location. Come here with a big appetite because there’s nothing small on the menu. Also, there’s just burgers and fries(ok there’s dogs and grilled cheese too). Don’t expect milkshakes. I guess it’s good because that allows them to concentrate on only one thing. I did notice the peanut shells on the floor too, makes me feel like I’m at a bar, but with no beer. There is however a fancy soda machine.

Over 10 bucks for a burger, fries and drink?! Come on! There burgers are ok, but damn. Oh yeah, and WAY more fries than anyone needs. Cut your fry portions in half and shave a few bucks off the menu here and there, then you’ll have my attention. I’ll just head right down the road to Andy’s(now Hwy. 55) and enjoy a much better burger for half the price.

WAY over priced! There are other burgers in town that are as good for $ 3.00 less. The fries are amazing and are served in abundance(got to get the malt vinegar, too). It’s good… very good even… just overpriced.

Delicious burgers, fresh and good quality ingredients. Be aware of two things: 1. Portion sizes are massive. Get the ‘Little” burger, and if you get fries, make sure you are sharing them with at least one other person. 2. They have a Cajun seasoning for the fries which is very good – I never get them without these days.

Just went to Five Guys for the first time today and, I must say, I am very impressed! I ordered a cheeseburger(which is actually a double cheeseburger) all the way — mustard, mayo, ketchup, tomato, pickle, lettuce, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. I also ordered a small order of fries and a small drink. The small order of fries was WAY more than I could eat and more than enough for two people! The burger was juicy and delicious and there are no extra charges for toppings. You can make your burger any way you’d like! The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is the prices. For a regular cheeseburger, small fries, and small drink, I paid around $ 11. Next time, I’ll likely go with the small cheeseburger(one patty), bring a friend, and split the small order of fries and I’m sure it will be less per person. Still, I’, definitely a fan of Five Guys!

Yes! Five Guys! I am addicted, as any normal person should be. I have had my mom bring me one of their burgers on more than one occasion to school so I could have a very special lunch(and make everyone else jealous). Even the junior burgers are gigantic. What I love most is that the toppings are premium, you can see the food being made in a clean environment, and they load up on the fries. I really like how they make their hot dogs by splitting them in two. It adds to the flavor and is superb. I would say though that I’m not crazy about their fries. I know I may sound crazy to some people, but I like show string fries. Also, they seem to be on the salty side and come in such a large quantity that you end up wasting almost as many fries than you eat. But, that’s okay because it’s all about the burgers here.

I have been to a 5 Guys in Raleigh before but this one is much better. The service is fast and the staff are always very friendly. Usually I order from the counter but today I actually ordered online at their website. All I had to do was walk into the store, and let the employee know I ordered food off the internet. He dropped the fries after I got there so they were nice and fresh. This definately has the best burgers in town unless you were to go to a nice restaurant where they will also be more expensive. And just for the record, the Little Cheeseburger contains one patty and a regular Cheeseburger contains two. There are plenty off toppings to put on your burger or hotdog as well. I always get: lettuce, mushrooms, grilled onions, ketchup, pickles, and mustard. They also have vinegar for those of you that like boardwalk style fries.

Yay, Five Guys! I’m a devotee of this place from years back and I was thrilled to see a location in Greenville. The key to this place is knowing what you’re ordering. A «small» hamburger is plenty big — it’s one patty. A «regular» hamburger is two patties. Huge! And one order of fries is enough for at least two people. The burgers taste ALMOST as good as something I could make at home. They are the best fast food burgers I’ve ever eaten and there are tons of great sides so each trip you can get something different. The fries are fried in peanut oil and they are fantastic. Overall, this is where I go if I’m jonesing for hamburgers. It’s a couple bucks more than McDonalds but you won’t get the upset stomach or feeling of regret after you’re done eating. Five Guys is a chain, but a high quality one.
