We went for the all you can eat shrimp dinner. They were cocktail shrimp in heavy batter. VERY disappointing. Service was courteous but very slow. Was there before for burgers and was pleased Will try one more time We like to support small mom and pops but tonite was pretty awful

Worst fried shrimp I’ve ever been served. Was like eating fried rubber bands. 6:30 on a Friday night and only 5 customers. Should have known.

I was very disappointed with this place based on the previous reviews. I was there on a Friday at 5:00PM and we were the only ones there the whole time. The food was poor quality. My steamed veggies were the frozen singles serving you get from the grocery store. The service was ok. We had to ask for silverware and the cheese dip appetizer was brought to our table with no plates. This place does not get a return visit from me.

Great little mom and pop place with food that is a step above what we expected. Started with the barracuda bites — bacon wrapped around chicken wrapped around cream cheese and jalapeño — an appetizer too big for one person. I had the BBQ pork cheese steak, which also had onion rings, red onion, and mushrooms. My wife had the blue cheese burger. The food was plentiful and excellent — obviously homemade. The prices seem recklessly low, and all the details are perfect. I want to return to try the Crabby Cakes, and maybe sit on the deck… I saw nothing to indicate any alcohol sales, which is a shame. This would be a great place to sip a beer or ten.

This little place, slightly off the beaten path but still visible from Hwy 101, is quite a find. It’s a small place located next to a fishing pond with beachy décor and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Chill N Grill has 3 things I love: 1.) Great service. A kind, courteous staff and owners who appreciate your business and make you feel right at home. 2.) Great food. We started off with Loaded Cheese Fries topped with shredded cheese, bacon, and green onions and served with a side of ranch. These are not your typical frozen fry fare but fresh, hand cut deliciousness! I had an outstanding burger(go look at the pics on their Facebook, and you’ll see what I’m talking about), which they will happily cook how you like. I really do appreciate it when I can get a good, fresh burger cooked Med Rare without having people look at me like I’m crazy. One bite into the burger, and it was apparent that fresh ingredients are what it’s all about at Chill N Grill. My husband went with the Shrimp & Grits, and it was quite delicious. The sauce had excellent flavor, and the shrimp were cooked properly(not overcooked and rubbery). 3.) Great value. I cannot believe that my burger(½ lb amazingly yummy and fresh beef) and fries were under $ 7. My husband’s Shrimp & Grits entrée was $ 9.95. We left super full. I will absolutely be back. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu. There’s even a food challenge if you dare. The Tsunami burger — it involves a ton of meat and cheese on top of more meat and cheese. Tips: Sunday — Meat &3 for $ 8.99 Monday — Kids eat free with adult Tuesday — All You Can Eat fish, slaw, fries, & hush-puppies for $ 10.99 Check Facebook for other specials!
