We just moved across town, and we used to frequent the location in Hollywood. The pita is better here. It’s more dense. Service is okay, but nonchalant. We were never asked about ordering drinks. They took orders from people that arrived after us, and those people received their food well before us. This was frustrating as it became very busy just after she took our orders and the wait time increased exponentially. I’m prangry. At 38 weeks pregnant, take my damn order within 5 minutes of being seated. There were at least 8 empty tables when we sat down. They also need to change their air filters. I check this out everywhere I go(is that weird?). However, the food met our expectations set by the other location. Everything was fresh & consistent. Hala!

The pita bread is fantastic! I could be happy just eating that, but the rest of the food was delicious as well. The lamb was nicely cooked, the hummus was very tasty, and the jasmine rice was to die for

I placed an order to go and was told it would take about 15 minutes. After 25 I asked the status of my order and he told me it would be right up. He then went to the kitchen to submit it. When I finally received my food the to go order had half as much rice as normal. The food does taste great but the service was worthless.

The food here is DELICIOUS. Only problem I would have is the server who doesn’t write the orders down and messes up my order. But the food here is amazing and so worth it.

My favorite place to eat East of 205! The huge free pita! That dipping stuff! Their RICE! the kebabs. omg… I highly recommend going their for lunch if its your first time, they have a little more variety, smaller portions, and lower prices during lunch so its a safe bet you’ll be happy. Their seasonings, the service, the ambiance, the location, all perfect. Try their mango lassi, you will be happy you did. I am in love with their lamb, and I’m one of those«I don’t usually like lamb» people. Their schawarma is what schawarma should be, and I gotta say it again their rice is truly noteworthy. It’s cooked with saffron, and other stuff, maybe powdered unicorn horn or something I have no idea. but its really, intensely good. I know, rice? Yes. Rice. I also tried their cheesecake(not the American one), and it was very unique. Not my favorite, but definitely worth trying at least once. This is my go to place when I want great food on this side of town.

I have never had a bad meal or bad service here. It is definitely one of the top three of my favorite restaurants and anytime guests are in town we always take them to Nicholas. Now our guest expect to go to Nicholas every time they come to visit. The food and atmosphere are fantastic and I highly recommend that you give these guys a try.

Absolutely wonderful Greek food here — OMG! We use them for a local client of ours for a «Lunch & Learn» event we do a few times a year, and their food is simply amazing. We ordered Chicken Kabobs, Lamb Kabobs, hummus, Lebanese salad, falafel, saffron rice and an amazing(and huge!) side of tahziki sauce — all to go, complete with plates, napkins, forks, etc… And as always, it was not only amazing food but an amazing value. Our client LOVES the food(as do we) and they always work it out so we can do our Lunch & Learn — even if they don’t know the topic we’re going to present — just because they love the food so well! Keep up the good work, Nocholas Restaurant — total fans here. Best Greek food anywhere around, and the catering«to go» option is simply the best Thank you! Dave

I wasn’t expecting much based on my never having heard of this place before, but I’m VERY happy that we went! The food here is excellent, expertly-cooked, perfectly-seasoned, and generously portioned. The prices were deceptively low as well. The giant flat bread was constantly replenished, and freshly-baked(always served hot). Don’t let the unassuming name fool you, Nicholas is an EXCELLENT restaurant!

Slowest waitress in the world and she says she’s the manger at this location. I’ve been to the location on Grand Avenue and will never come back to this location. The bread tasted like dirt, the sauce was horrible. She wouldn’t exchange the salad for a small side of hummas. But the one on Grand always let’s me switch because I didn’t want the salad. She’s brought out the salad and side of hummas I had to order. I’ve still yet to get our drinks and it’s been over 20 minutes. I finally got her attention and she’s just now bringing them out… I hate to do this to a good company but if they don’t change their managers at this location I don’t see many people coming back. Go to the one in Grand Avenue and you won’t be disappointed. I’m very mad.!!

We had lunch at Nicholas and what a wonderful experience! Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was wonderful and very flavorful… honesty the BEST Lebanese food we have EVER had! Their menu has many selections and the prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back for dinner a week later! Can’t get enough of Nicholas! If your in Gresham you must stop by for a delicious meal… They have two other locations in Portland that we will be visiting on our next trip. I recommend the Turkish coffee, the lamb platter or bowl(at lunch) and the kale salad is to die for! I can’t wait to go back… my mouth is watering as I write this.

Terrific food, service, and atmosphere. We have been coming here for years and is part of a revival of the downtown Gresham core. Not to be missed if you are looking for a great meal in Gresham. I love it.

Amazing food an over abundance of food. Hot and fresh and flavorful. I was really surprised at what I thought was going to be a standard luch fare on the strip of Main St. Turned out to be a fantastic restaurant.

This will be our second attempt at trying to have a meal. We were sat and left after waiting 10 minutes with no server. Ugh! I hope they shut down and get a real restaurant there

I have to mention this was my first taste of Lebanese food. We sat down and were immediately brought a very large warm pita. Our appetizers and main dishes were brought out in a timely manner and was delicious. We ordered a chicken, lamb and beef kebab. The chicken was undercooked and all dark meat. The beef kebab was overcooked and dry and the lamb was perfect. Overall the food was delicious and we had good service.

Decided to pick up some food for Christmas eve. The lamb platter is always a must and the Kibbah was something new I tried. I really liked it the texture was a little odd but I got past that right away. Be sure to eat it all the same day the left overs were not to good.

Lived up to the great reviews. They first serve a delicious and humongous hot pita as an appetizer. I went for lunch so I ordered a chicken and rice bowl from the lunch menu. The rice was just amazing. It also had chickpeas, kale and quinoa. I wasn’t fond of the huge dollop of the very strong garlic sauce on top and there wasn’t a whole lot of chicken. Buut all still a very tasty combo. I just picked at the sauce but next time I’ll just get it on the side. I will be back to try more items on the menu, especially the dinner.

Service is very attentive. Highly recommend the meat pie(from meat mezza) and the M’jadra. Gyros is good for a light lunch.
