After posting my review I saw the response from Visionworks requesting my contact information so they could get more information from me regarding my recent visit. Well, it’s one week later and I have not heard from them. Apparently they only wanted to give the impression of customer service.

I brought my prescription to this location, bought a pair of glasses (expencive lenes) after I got home I noticed the frames ear piece was loose mfg defect. I took them and all my paper work and they said they order a new pair and would contact me when the frames came in. Still to this day not a word. I would say stay as far away from this company as you can.

I walked in with two of my kids ready to buy a pair of glasses. Ten minutes and no greeting or an attempt to assist me. There were three girls in the store and all three were talking to each other while another customer waited for her order. I bought two glasses under their buy one get one. Got home and price checked AFTER the fact i purchased them… and as i thought, they were over two times as much as other retailers on line. Way overpriced, customer service lacking, and when I got my glasses, they both had sticky residue from tags on the frames and both lens were dirty. I should have went to costco!

I’ve been going to this location since it was a Binyons. My most recent visit was pretty positive. The girl who helped me on the sales floor wasn’t pushy at all. The doctor I got was a little curt but nothing I wasn’t expecting. My glasses came in quick and so did my contacts. Their contact prices could be better but over all, I like them.

VisionWorks is a joke. They lie to you about your insurance coverage and then bill you months later for the full amount. They are extremely overpriced and the eye ware is marginal in quality. Their business practices are shady at best.
I will never set foot inside their business again.

Takes forever to get your glasses back, horrid customer service! Told me the most expensive lenses you could buy were $ 199, when I went in to purchase them they were $ 310 and don’t even know What’s so special about them the lady basically picked them out for me and said those aren’t even top of the line lenses. Did the buy one get one free and it still doesn’t add up when I spent over $ 600 for ONE pair. When I went in just to look at frames there were only two girls working there and both gave me false information and started cussing at each other, and were very very unprofessional. Bottom line, never going there again!

I was completely disappointed. I called ahead of time to verify they were in network with my insurance. They assured me they were. I went in the following day. I arrived to wait for over a half hour to be told they can’t see me because they couldn’t locate me in the system. I had my spouse fax over a sheet from their HR dept clearly stating I was insured with effective dates and plan info. They said they’d only do the exam… It was ridiculous. I went home, and thennnnnn they called to tell me they are out of network and the glasses aren’t covered half as much add my plan allows. Do not go here, they are rude, unhelpful and not knowledgeable of the insurances.
