Papa John’s Pizza

We always go here for pizza! The people are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful! For the second time ever, I called and asked if someone could bring my pizza to me if I drove up to the door and Megan gladly did it! The first time it was because my daughter had fallen asleep on the way there. This time, it was because I had my daughter who is 2, and my 6 month old son with me! That would’ve been VERY hard to juggle 2 young kids and 2 pizzas! I just ordered and paid for it online so all she had to do was bring it to me! I give this place 5 stars, personally!

I used to order pizza from this place because it was the only one in my area that delivers. The pizza was very often under-​cooked, even though I always asked for it to be well done, and often, it was the wrong pizza altogether. Once, I ordered a 2-​liter of soda with my 2 pizzas, and the driver neglected to bring it. He said he’d be back with it, and I gave him a Very large tip to cover his return trip, because I used to be a delivery driver, and I understand that mistakes happen… well, he never came back. I called to complain, and they told me that he said we were lying. I went in the next day, talked to a manager and got my two-​liter and an apology which included many snickers and giggles from around the corner where the delivery driver had called a meeting with his colleagues. The next time I called to place an order, the pizzas were both wrong. I called to complain, and they offered to replace them next time. Well, next time I called, they informed me that they will no longer deliver to my area. I am 1.5 miles away from the restaurant. Come on now. I see their drivers come all the way up to a quarter mile up the street from me.
Since it happened, I have not purchased anything from any Papa Johns, and we were very solid customers. I patronize the non-​franchised pizza joints exclusively now, so I guess really, I should thank Papa John for driving me away!
