I love this place. It weirds me out thinking about getting sushi from a drive thru, but it is totally worth it. The sushi is so fresh! Today may have to wait in the lot a few mins while they make it– but u will not be disappointed. My favorite thing to do is order it ahead of time, pick it up, drive to a nice place by the water and eat! This sushi place is my lil favorite gem!

Only 3 vegan options for rolls(asparagus, avocado, and cucumber); $ 2.25/roll(vegetables). The prices are very reasonable. To be fair, my review is literally only based on the 3 rolls listed above…, along with service and location. The convenience is a 5. There is plenty of parking. I like to get out of my car and walk up to the window to order vs. going through the drive-thru. If you arrive with a large party, there are only two outdoor tables. You can definitely bring the food with you and your large party down the road to Bluff Point where there are plenty of picnic tables with a view of the water. The service is prompt and friendly. The establishment is super tiny and kind of makes you tilt your head at first when seeing a little stand like this in CT… but it’s great! Don’t judge this place by it’s appearance alone.

Really enjoyed the sushi here although the set-up is a bit weird. You call ahead with your order and just make sure If you order a big meal(like an uni-don) with more than three rolls and a couple apps, to give them more than 25 mins. I arrived too early and had to wait for the young kid to beckon me back through the drive through after I had paid to pick up my order. Presentation is good, quality is good, there are some reasonably priced rolls, I just still find Kawa’s sushi more delectable. Still a great place though, if you want sushi on the go. A healthy drive-through alternative to hamburger hell hill.

The concept of a drive — up sushi kiosk is unusual but in this case it’s a winner. The quality of the seafood is high and the prices are low. The sushi chef suggested the Lion King Roll on our first visit and we’ve ordered it ever since. The Wonderful Roll is just that. We’ve also enjoyed the sashimi deluxe box. We ordered shu mai on our last visit and it was exceptional! A completely different and superior rendition to any we’ve had before. Looking forward to ordering it again.

Sushi… it’s all about the rice. The rice here? It tastes funny. I give it three stars because of the originality of a drive thru sushi bar, which is uncommon, but it seems to lure all of you people here.

This was a pleasant surprise. The sushi was great for the price, delicious and good portions. All of the sushi is made to order so there is a wait until your sushi is ready. If you’re thinking of buying supermarket sushi skip that and come here instead.

Drove 25 minutes to pick up $ 40 worth of sushi and they forgot the soy sauce I ordered. When I called to ask about what they could do for me next time since it’s too far to drive all the way back, the manager said she’s sorry but soy sauce is a courtesy and they got the food order correct. Then I said that just because the soy sauce is free doesn’t mean they got the order correct. I’ve never eaten sushi without soy sauce and said I’d have to go to the supermarket which is closer just to get the soy sauce and wasn’t willing to drive all the way back to pick that up. I asked for a courtesy like a free roll next time or something to make up for the wrong order and she only offered an extra soy sauce next time. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager, then I asked to speak to the owner and she said he’s located in Westerly. I said that wasn’t good customer service and she hung up on me. When I called back to ask for her name, she identified herself at Tammy and she put the«owner» on the phone named Ju. He was no help at all so they hung up and lied to me by the end of the experience. I called the Westerly location and Ju answered and didn’t apologize but said he could offer an extra soy sauce next time. I told him that wouldn’t be helpful so he finally offered to reimburse me for the soy sauce I would have to buy at the store. Horrible customer service, unprofessional attitude and practices, and I will never order from any of these locations again!

Ok I’m first to admit that I was a major skeptic about this place. Drive thru sushi? In the middle of a strip mall? Styrofoam containers??? I decided to stop by on account of the amazing Unilocal reviews. You guys were all SO right. This place RULES! Yes, you literally order at the drive thru station. Every item is so inexpensive you can sample a bunch without feeling guilty. I ordered 4 rolls(don’t judge me) and it only came to $ 18 including a side of spicy mayo. Aside from the unbeatable price, the sushi was so GOOD!!! I wolfed it all down in seconds and cannot wait to go back. The woman running the register was so nice and funny — I am so happy to support such a clearly amazing place. Trust me and go! You won’t be disappointed.

Extremely affordable sushi and at a great quality. Not the best sushi you ever had, but there is no disappointment from eating it. Don’t be alarmed by the fact it’s a shack, as they produce quality.

I was alittle put off at first thinking this just screamed drive thru food poisoning but I went by Unilocal reviews and now I go there at least once a week. Very fresh and extremely affordable. Also the portions are big. You must try the Yummy Roll. By far my fav.

This was quite an interesting Unilocal find. It was a sushi to go hut with tables outside but no inside seating. I’ve never seen anything like it, very innovative. It was certainly too cold to eat outside so I took my order back to my hotel room. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, spicy yellowtail roll and the 9 – 11 roll. They were all good the sushi tasted fresh, the spicy sauce was nice and spicy. My only complaint was I ordered 3 rolls and only got one soy sauce which the cup hadn’t even been filled up half way, I asked for an additional soy sauce and they charged me $ 1 for it, how ridiculous is that soy sauce is cheap they are seriously charging $ 1 for an extra cup. I can get an entire bottle for probably about $ 1.50; the dollar store may even have a bottle for a$ 1.

By far the best sushi in the area as well as inexpensive! Both locations($ 1sushi and Ju-sushi) are wonderful and friendly. Their party trays are great for small gatherings

Don’t be frightened off by the little drive thru stand in the middle of a parking lot. We almost were, and we would have missed out on some delicious food. I am so, so, so glad that we gave it a try. Best sushi in the area! I’ve tried both locations, and they are both phenomenal. I am so thrilled to have found this place. My family, and I agree… top notch sushi at an unbeatable price. When I saw the prices, I honestly expected sub par sushi. Boy, was I wrong. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G food. Can’t be beat. Our favorite roll is the Yummy Roll. We get that one each time we go, no matter what else we are trying out. We’re also big fans of the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Crunch Monster Roll, California Roll, and the Miso Soup. Everything we try is so tasty. I don’t think you’ll go wrong with anything you try. We’ve tried some other sushi in the New England area, and I have to say that this place is my favorite. We won’t be trying any other places any more. This is now our go-to sushi.

I’ve been to Ju-Sushi several times in the past few months and not once have I been disappointed! No matter whose working, you’re always going to get great customer service thats friendly and fast(depending on how busy it is… even then it’s still quick)! The sushi itself is very fresh and flavorful. I always try to mix it up each time I go, but my favorite is the rainbow roll! Yum! It’s always lovely to go to a sushi restaurant, but if you’re wanting something that’s just as delicious & much more affordable, this is DEFINITELY the place to go!

This sushi place is the best bang for your buck besides an all you can eat sushi place. My favorite rolls are the spicy crab roll, the yummy roll, the lion king roll, the alligator roll and the las vegas roll.

Awesome, high quality, great taste and it is a drive up. Went here for the first time today and got a spicy seafood chirashi rice bowl. The spicy sauce was delicious(hints of pickled ginger, siracha) with spicy tuna, veggies and of course sushi rice. I am definitely coming back. Like the healthiest fast food, except it is made fresh. Prices are really low due to little overhead.

Yes it’s a whole in the wall kinda place and it doesn’t look anytthing fancy. My husband and I were both really glad we tried this place out. We first tried it Sunday night and we went back Tuesday night again. It’s a sushi shack in the parking lot. What a great idea. You park, order, grab and go. Or you can see some people sitting in their car eating in the parking lot. They also offer drive-through, which we haven’t tried yet. The price is low. As a sushi lover and am from Asia, I gave it credit for the quality. Sashimi was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for cheap and delicious sushi!

I agree with everyone else, don’t let the little shack fool you. I like the fact that they had a california roll section with the option to add different ingredients in it. The good rolls however are not as cheap as i thought they would be but they’re still inexpensive. The wait took forever, and the miso soup was decent. The manager was yelling at the other worker though in front of customers, which i thought was so unnecessary! poor kid. They need to bring one of these to jersey, ASAP. They charge extra for spicy mayo btw.

Don’t let that little shack, drive thru, and prices fool you! I’m from California and just moved here and read great reviews here and wasn’t disappointed! We got Alaskan Roll, Philly Roll, and Spicy tuna roll. Generous sized sushi, superb service, very friendly, and helpful with menu. Drive thru, order, park, and drive off with awesome sushi for extremely low price! Whoever leaves this place low ratings due to it being a drive thru has never owned a business or would know the over head cost! The prices are affordable for good quality as it’s a small shack, it’s not a sit down type of restaurant, but definitely does the sushi fix for me. There are two tables with a few chairs if you want to stay for a sit down meal outdoor but no umbrella or anything. Opening one in Mystic soon by CVS can’t wait! They deliver here as well which is awesome and have incredible family or party tray prices! $ 10 minimum on credit cards, you can do walk up order, or call ahead.
