The NEX needs to cancel their contract or maybe Spikes can hire new management. Any volunteers? I would if i wasnt on active duty for another 2yrs. I only gave them a 2nd star for affordability but i am sick and tired of their lack of management of resources and maintenance of their equipment. Both of the locations at New London Submarine Base have serious issues. They’re always out of food even b4 the day begins. And, they always seem to have equipment failures.

They were out of sausage and peppers… so they lose 1 star. Also, I try never give a restaurant that serves junk food more than 3 stars because… well, I secretly don’t want to endorse my guilty pleasure, so they lose another star. That being said, I ordered a BLT and it was AWESOME! Maybe it doesn’t help that I eat junk food once in a blue moon that I keep having these «When Harry Met Sally» experiences. So really this is a 5 star junk food restaurant but I have to abide by my crazy rules and so I give it a 3.
