The Plantsmen

Five stars for the plants, prices, and people working there. No complaints.
Unfortunately, when I tried to get in touch with Dan Segal early last summer for a consultation, my e-​mails, voice mails, and even their «contact us» form on line were ignored repeatedly. After many tries, I had Dan Segal on the phone, but when he learned that my yard was a third acre, he said he’d like to get to the bigger sites first, butl he’d be in touch later in the season. Later in the season when I hadn’t heard from him, I again left voice mails and e-​mails, but was totally blown off.
My conclusion: they are only interested in big bucks, and the little guys can go hang. Very disappointed, but what else can one expect from capitalism.

Great native plant store in central New York. Large inventory, knowledgeable staff and decent regular sales. The non-​sale prices are somewhat steep but their plants are high quality.
