I went here on a Friday night. My friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant. We both ordered a gyro. What we got was what they call a gyro platter. Which is gyro meat on flavorless slimy white rice with a side of hummus and pita bread. If you want a gyro make sure you specify you want the sandwich. The hummus was really thick but tasty. The pita bread was good but it’s not like they make it. The gyro was good but really dry and crusty.

When I entered this place a very nice lady yelled at me about my feet having to be freezing cuz I was wearing flip flops on a very cold day. I laughed and told her I was too lazy to put on tennis shoes. She was sitting and eating and she appeared to be working there or perhaps an owner. I looked over the menu and according to these reviews they downsized a lot. I ordered a gyro with fries and extra sauce for $ 8.50. French Fries were amazing and a huge portion, they were very seasoned, but so good. As for the Gyro it looked amazing, and it was so huge you have to use a fork to eat it, but I didn’t extra sauce in fact I got no sauce, it seemed as though they used a vinaigrette on it which is not a gyro to me and was highly disappointing.

Stopped in for a quick dinner, the guy behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. The food although looking very good was not very tasty. I ordered the bourbon chicken which was basically grilled chicken over rice with a strange maple bourbon flavor. I mean like pouring maple syrup over chicken and splashing on some bourbon. My son got a cheeseburger which was actually pretty good, not to mention HUGE. Wifey ordered a chicken pita, which wasn’t bad but had very little flavor to it. The saving grace was the fries which were amazing! If not for the fries and the great service I think I would have given 2 stars. We will for sure give them another shot.

I am sad to say that we were highly disappointed in this restaurant! I like to support small businesses and local businesses, but we will not be returning here. First of all, the«Tossed» in their name is supposed to represent hand tossed salads — that is why I went here. Their window signs and menu still have salads on them — however when I tried to order a salad, I was told that they don’t have salads anymore. I ordered the Hummus Plate instead since the menu said it was served on a «bed of lettuce». This ended up meaning a few wilted pieces of ice burg lettuce. The self serve soda was old and flat, and while we were eating, the guy who took our order and made our food went outside for a smoke and the smell blew back into the restaurant and we had to breathe and smell cigarette smoke while we were trying to eat. The building and patio are nice — there is potential there, but they’ll never make it if they don’t step up their food choices and customer service. Oh — I also asked if he could put olives on my hummus plate, and he said«yes» — but then when he brought it out, he apologized and said they actually don’t have any olives.

We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon for a simple lunch. We ordered a Gyro and a Philly Cheesesteak. The place is your regular run-of-the-mill diner. I also found the cafeteria tray rack to be odd and to serve no purpose. They had iPads mounted on arms at each table, none of which appeared to work. They were all a bit«crusty» and had been touched by many, many a greasy hand. I’m sort of glad they didn’t work, as I don’t think I would have enjoyed listening to others’ Netflix/YouTube adventures while trying to enjoy a lunch convo with my hubs. The food was just ok. They got our orders mixed up, but wasn’t a huge ordeal. But we did have to ask multiple times to have the pop machine fixed. First no syrup in one fountain, then no carbonation in another. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a trend.

I’ve had tossed n grilled 3 – 4 times And each time had some form of gyro. Delicious every time. I can’t speak to their other items, but the gyro and fries are something I keep coming back for! It’s also nice they have some shaded outdoor seating. When they are busy, they are quite slow in getting food out to you though.

The salad, which is hand tossed, was awful! I paid over $ 9 for a salad that had questionable chicken and the cheap bacon bits you get for a buck at the local supermarket. Not sure if it was the kid’s first day, but he didn’t know what sunflower seeds were and had no confidence in what he was doing. You’re better off going to the Kroger or Giant Eagle salad bar, the options are much better in quality.

tried this place for the first time today while at the Farmer’s market in GC. I saw the sign that said gyros and I saw the meat roasting(not the cheap thin pre-sliced stuff) so I had to give it a try. Gyro was okay, my wife’s chicken strips were good, but the fries were awesome. The salad bar thing looked really good and the burgers that were coming off the grill looked fantastic. We will be back again

The food was okay. A pretty good variety on this menu, so lots of choices for everyone. The order took a while to get served to us, and they got two items on our order wrong. It’s kinda a new place, so they may just be working the kinks out. The layout of the place is a bit uncomfortable. The register, kitchen doors, and customers in line all form a nexus in a very narrow hallway, which makes it feel awkward, crowded, and confusing. There is a cafeteria sliding-tray track which doesn’t seem to serve any purpose. Also, the soda machine seems to be serving up an extra sweet mix. I don’t even like Pepsi products to begin with, but Pepsi/Sierra Mist/lemonade that’s extra-cloying is even worse. The menu was a little hard to read: some little bits of text were written sideways or in a tiny font.
