Got takeout from Michaels. Overall my meal was sufficient and if I’m in a pinch I will probably go here again. But I thought it was a little expensive for what you got. For that price, I would almost rather make the journey to Stringtown and go to Genji-Go and get more food and REAL yum yum sauce. The sauce Michael’s uses is VERY sweet. Sushi was decent, but not amazing. Like I said, overall not bad but not great.

This was the best meal ever delivered to my door. Steak and shrimp hibachi the shrimp were huge. Absolutely delicious like having the Japanese steakhouse delivered to your door

This is not a sit down restaurant. They have seating but you order(on a computer) pick up your food and clean up after yourself. If you are ok with that, this place has great food. We ordered hibachi steak and you can get any veggies you want free of charge. Better seasoning and flavor than GengiGo and reasonably priced. We also ordered many rolls of sushi which I can only remember the Buckeye was my favorite. All of the rolls were delicious. I am going back again for sure!

Right off the bat… this place is pretty good! So, «Why did that guy leave only 4 stars?» So 4 stars goes like this: Price and seating. Let’s start with the beginning. It’s a hibachi style restaurant. If you’ve been to Genji Go, you’ll get the idea. You walk in and there are 2 computers so you can order by yourself. If you are not tech friendly, you can simply order at the counter. What did I order? We got chicken, with fried rice, onions, cabbage, and bean sprouts. Also, chicken, veggies, and noodles. That’s essentially the concept. You pick a meat, veggies, and side. After ordering, they cook it up right in front of you(if you want to creepily stand there and watch). The price is a little steep, but it’s a local place. For each«Combo», it’s around $ 8. If you add more veggies than the 1 included in the price it goes up. Also, you can get sides like spring rolls for extra. For a 3 people, with drinks, it was about $ 27. We got a booth, got drinks and accoutrement. We went when there was an even going on in Downtown Grove City and the place got busy fast. We were lucky to find a booth. Shortly after we arrived it was standing room only. It was only about 10 minutes and our food was ready. Taste: We added soy sauce and siracha and dug in. I gotta say, both were delicious. The sauce they use was delicious. The rice/noodles, chicken, and veggies were very nicely cooked. The chicken was GBD and the veggies were browned but still crunchy. I really enjoyed the rice and noodles. My wife preferred the noodles. I’d ask for ½ of each next time. So, if you wish to come here, make sure there isn’t an even happening in Downtown Grove City. Also, order with the computer to customize your order and you can take your time. NOTE: There are other things on the menu like sushi, a bunch of unique rolls(other than spring rolls) but I didn’t get these, so I’m not reviewing them.

Excellent addition to grove city. We ordered the chicken hibachi with peppers, onions and cabbage w/noodles. Fresh ingredients, excellent taste. Sushi was good, spicy tuna was much better than the spicy salmon. We ordered to go. Our 1 year old loved the noodles as well.

Had dinner there last night. Nice, clean and very welcoming. I ordered the chicken fried rice & a spring roll, the chicken & rice had no flavor. The spring roll was yummy. My husband ordered steak, chicken with all the veggies and noodles, the steak & chicken on his plate were yummy as were the noodles. Not sure if we will return. But had to try it once.

Highly recommend. Did lunch with my wife here. Very tasty. Quick and friendly service. You enter your own meal in on the computer which is convenient and easy. We spent $ 30 for lunch but ordered a bunch. Check this place out.

Good Hibachi, Sushi was good. Service friendly. However, should be $$ not $. Lunch for four was nearly $ 60.

This is a welcomed new addition to the Grove City Historic downtown area. Nothing fancy; in fact, I think the décor is left over from the previous restaurant(s). You can choose either hibachi ir sushi. Pick your meat, vegetable and side for hibachi. I had the steak with noodles. The steak cubes were good sized and you get a lot of meat… I was surprised. Good taste with just the right amount of veggies. The portion sizes are large. My teen daughter had the avacado and cucumber sushi. She enjoyed it. I did not notice a kid’s menu for the little ones but I really didn’t look specifically for one. My only concern is, if it gets busy, the service might be slow. But they cook it fresh to order and it’s not fast food. I’m sure we’ll be back. You can also call in your order.

We spent almost $ 40 here for what seemed to be a Kroger premade sushi roll, shrimp hibachi, crab Rangoon, steak hibachi. The food for dine in came out in trashy plastic containers??? The noodles were clumped together. They had no red sweet sauce for the crab rangoons. The yum yum sauce was non existent but don’t get what they eventually will give you. It came directly from an unopened gallon jug they just flat out bought and was absolutely disgusting. Like horseradish and grey and grainy texture. It was unbelievable how much soy sauce they doused everything in as well. Shrimp was over cooked dry and super salty. Wife couldnt eat it either. I ordered steak mushrooms cabbage n zucchini. Kid u not. 3 little mushrooms slivers. Grey top round beef in magic marker sized strips. We threw away almost all the food after trying to eat it. No reason to every go back. These guys have zero clue how to cook or run a restaurant. Oh… forks, knifes, straws are all just laying out uncovered in a wide open bin. Sorry but avoid this place. They won’t be around long.

Great addition to the GC Towne Center! We’ve visited two times in the last two weeks. Food: So far we’ve had the following: stir-fried noodles with chicken, stir-fried noodles with shrimp, special tuna sushi roll(tuna and shrimp tempura), custom sushi roll(spicy tuna inside, tuna & avocado on top, cucumber, drop of sriracha on top), and spring rolls. The stir-fried noodle entrée is a very generous portion. We ordered one noodle entrée and two sushi rolls to share each time we visited. The chicken and shrimp were both well seasoned and cooked. The shrimp are huge. Not those tiny shrimp you sometimes see at Chinese restaurants. The veggies were cooked just enough to maintain their crispiness but still have that grilled flavor. Sushi was surprisingly fresh and tasty considering the location. Drink: They serve pepsi products(blech), bud light, Sapro, and TsingTao. Service/Staff: Super friendly and helpful staff. Their sushi guy is amazing! He was willing to accommodate us trying to replicate this roll we loved from AOI sushi that closed on Bethel Rd called the Red Devil. On slow nights they’ll even bring your food right out to you. Atmosphere: It’s a very casual vibe in there. Not much has changed from the restaurant before. We love the patio seating by the fountain. It is cafeteria style where you order at the counter and wait for your food to be called. I’ve eaten at both Genji Go and Habachi Fresh(when it was open) in GC and this place is leaps and bounds better than both of them. Suggested Improvements: Switch to Coke products, provide little cups to put the soy sauce in for the sushi, create some optional sauces for the stir-fried entrees to be cooked in like kung pao, peanut, or teriyaki, provide some home-made yum yum sauce and sweet and sour sauce for springrolls/crabcheese. Really hope they’re able to make a go of it!

We stumbled upon Michael’s as most of the other restaurants on the street were closed on a Sunday evening. It was a fantastic find. I highly recommend the hibachi meals. There is an option of rice or noodles, many FRESH veggies, and lots of protein choices. Everything we had was really tasty and well worth the very reasonable price. We’ll be back again very soon.

Ordered hibachi chicken with cabbage and onions. They have a cafeteria type line where you choose and pay. Chalkboard menu explains their options. They bring it to your table after preparing. Sushi is offered on the menu. Rice comes with meal. Self serve cold drinks. Six tables on the patio for nice weather. Food was good. There were fifteen others served during my visit. They all complimented the cooks. Clean restaurant. 10.20 for lunch and soda. They offer beer as well. First opened 8÷18÷15.
