Coastal Dance And Music Academy

My daughters have been dancing at CDMA for five years. The teachers are great and truly care and support each dancer in goals, academics and fostering a love for dance. They truly love dance! Classes are extensive; tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet from preschool to adult. Parents and staff are supportive and an overall encouraging environment is at this studio.

I the parent of a 14 yo and I am thrilled there is a place like CDMA for her to hang out. The classes are great (many to choose from) the teachers are wonderful role models and are very encouraging. She has made many wonderful friends. There is no place else I’d rather have her spend her after school hours.

My son has been dancing at CDMA for 3 ½ years and I think it has helped him in being a well rounded child. I like the influence he gets from the older kids. It feels more like a family than just another activity. I highly recommend bringing your child to try out a class or two!

My daughter has been taking dance lessons at Coastal Dance and Music Academy for a few years now. The teachers are awesome with the kids. The stuff is always friendly and very helpful. My daughter loves going there and I don’t see us leaving anytime soon.

Coastal Dance & Music Academy is FANTASTICALLY ran studio, with the performance arts in mind. I wanted a place where my child could grow into an art, not into a «show».
Things I love:
* The experience that each teacher has.
* They teach my 4 year old they dynamics of ballet, not just a dance. My daughter knows at least 6 – 8 different moves and the names of them, plus, she knows the proper way to execute them.
* Although they like to see the girls perform, they do not pressure the younger ones to do so.
*They do a great job at including all students in their shows, as long as age appropriate.
* NO DRAMA! Enough Said.
* I have yet to see a performer wear something I deem inappropriate for their age. No mid drifts at age 5 here.
Bottom line, if you want your child to excel at ballet, tap, jazz, or theater, this is a great start. A relative of my husband’s was just recently accepted to the Joffrey (sp?) ballet intensive, along with 2 others, all with the help of CDMA.

Coastal Dance and Music Academy is a fantastic dance studio. I’ve recently started taking ballet classes and they provide a very supportive and positive environment that accepts all skill levels. I was nervous to start dance as an adult but they offer many adult classes and the evening classes work well with my schedule. The teachers are very encouraging and I look forward to continuing to attend classes at this great studio.
