Boss has been the best Greek style pizza on the shoreline for the 30+ years I’ve been going there. Dozens of pizza joints have come and gone in the area, but Boss has been a consistently good mainstay. The thicker crisp crust is light and has fantastic flavor. You’ll see kids and amateur pizza eaters who usually throw away the edge crusts eating the whole thing. If you head in their direction I’d try the Boss Special and the Moussaka pies. The eat-in area is not much to look at(I think they are the original booths), but they do have bottled beer available… a must have with pizza. Yes, Boss is still the boss.

I remember coming here as kid with my dad. The Pizza was okay but the Meatball Grinders were the bomb! Well i recently dropped in for a MeatBall grinder and to my dismay it tasted nothing like i remember… guess times have changed and so has the food. too bad.

Not surprisingly, it is now my fourth favorite, having tried another place.

Hmmm, when I think Boss Pizza, I think of their meatball grinders. I lub them. They consist of just the right combination of homemade meatballs, toasted bread, and melted mozzarella cheese. I’m not particularly a fan of their pizza because they make greek style pizza. So while Boss Pizza may not be the«boss of me» in the pizza department, you might say they are the«boss of me» in their meatball department. :-)
