Alex Nail Spa

Just came into town and desired a mani/​pedi. My fellow Unilocalers directed me to here and I’m so glad they did. It’s one of the nicer nail salons I’ve visited. The salon is extremely clean, the technicians were friendly, the massage (leg more than hand) had enough pressure to make a difference, and the finished product looks great. Admittedly the surrounding shopping center gave me momentary pause, but it could not have been a better experience. Highly recommended.

I knew my nails weren’t going to make it through vacation so I turned to Unilocal for recommendations. Alex’s was near our condo and sounded good so the daughter and I headed there on a rainy afternoon. They weren’t busy, possibly due to the rain, so we were both taken care of immediately. We didn’t need manicures, just a gel color change. They had a nice selection of colors and we were in and out very quickly. Cheaper than our place back home too!
Would definitely recommend this friendly, inexpensive and clean nail salon to any traveler passing through Biloxi!

I recently moved to the area and wanted to try out a place. This had good reviews so I gave it a chance and I am so glad I did. Very friendly and courteous staff. Explained the services very well and did a fantastic job. I had a manicure and pedicure done and will definitely go back!

I came here based on Jill M’s review and I’m definitely glad I did!
The Gulfport horse show happens every year and I’ve been coming to it since I was 12 (minus a 7 year hiatus from riding, but I digress). It last six weeks so I spend a lot of time down here in February and March. I occasionally go home so I typically get my nails done when I’m there, but unfortunately for me, one of my nails broke so I had to get a new set ASAP. (What can I say? I’m totally psychotic about my nails… they have to be done. As soon as one breaks, I drive straight to the nail salon.)
Enter my faithful, trusty Unilocal.
This was the only nail salon with good reviews near my hotel, so I got in my car and punched in the address. My GPS is brand new so I’m not sure what happened, but I had to call the salon for directions (he was very nice by the way). It is in a strip mall next to the Dollar Store or something like that… so I got a little nervous. But as soon as I walked in, I let out a sigh of relief. So nice!
You can see in my photos that everything is new, thoughtfully laid out, and most importantly… clean! My set had to be soaked off, which takes forever, but he was so nice about it (and only charged me $ 5 for it). He also asked me multiple questions to make sure that he was doing my nails exactly like I liked them… and he got pretty close! And that means a lot!
I’ll definitely be back if I have another nail emergency. He even gave me his frequent customer card that gives you discounts! I’m a fan :)

Ive been to many places to get my nails done, but once i went to Alex’s i havent been anywhere else!
The staff is courteous and professional and the prices are definitely fair! Most of the clientele are regulars that are greeted by name when they come in.
Like most salons, walkins are welcome but if you dont want to sit there indefinitely while they clients with appointments, you should perhaps make one yourself. Nothing is more annoying than going into a salon when you have an appointment and getting attitude and snarky remarks from walkin clients who have been waiting. You should know if you are a walkin that you have to wait until all the appointments have been serviced.
Ive been using Kim for about 2 years now and would highly recommend her and all the staff!
