The food is decent, it’s not all the great but if your hungry it’s decent. Today is 6−24−16 I just got done eating at 1:05pm. The waiter who helped me out was horrible at customer service. I been to this restaurant 8 times(im a truck driver). Her customer service was not only bad to me but to everyone in the restaurant. She did not really have a lot of people for her to be stressed out the way she was. A couple of incidents I noticed, first two people walked in and she looked at them and said have a seat it’s gonna be a while till I get to you(2 minutes later she was helping them) I was sitting at the bar the guy next to me was older and he had to ask her again for a refill cause she didn’t pay attention the first time she pointed at him with her finger and said wait a second very rudely. When I asked her what kind of orange juice she had asking her if its from concentrate orange juice she looked at me like I was stupid stomped mad to bring the juice bottle and said this is what I have. As soon as she brought me my food she brought me the check. I was not even done ordering I wanted a desert and extra orange juice. My order total was $ 14.40 I figured I’ll just leave it as a tip .50 cents is what she deserved. I got up and said thank you but with all due respect your customer service can be a little better you are very rude. She replied angry saying«I’m good at what I do, I had a very long day» umm? It’s barley noon? Maybe you should have called off instead of rubbing off negativity everywhere. Last but not least when I was walking away from the restaurant she ran out with the .50 cents I left behind and said you left behind your money and threw it like I disrespected her. I’ve never had a waiter running out with money like that especially .50 cents. Either way I will make peace with the restaurant by simply taking my business elsewhere. Hope management sees this and let’s her know she should call off instead of coming in mad serving customers angry.

The breakfast burritos are absolutely average! Not too shabby after a long day of duck hunting at the Gypsum Ponds. If you’re looking for a quality customer service sit-down place, keep driving.

Desperate for a bathroom I ordered tea to use the restrooms. Their tea is no brand but they give you a pot of water enough for 3 solid cups. Family owned and operated this is a solid place to stop and the locals patronize it.

Don’t waste your time! This place is bad, it’s dirty, smells. First and last time I will ever come here. You know a restaurant is trouble when they serve can soda.

This place is great! Delicious steaks, hearty breakfasts, and fresh Mexican fair at prices unheard off in the Vail Vally! The waitresses are always smiling and fun to chat with. If you aren’t worried about being fancy, you’ll get a great meal at a reasonable price here!

I had the worst restaurant experience of my entire life. I will say, the wait staff is good and the Mexican food, especially the green chili, is above average. But, if something is wrong with your order and you desire it to be made right, be prepared to be treated like a criminal by the owner/manager. My family has been in the area for over 40 years. Furthermore, I’ve worked at restaurants in the area and I’ve never experienced anything like what I experienced, with my family, here. Prior to ordering, we asked our waitress if they could make my meal with flour, instead of corn, tortillas. The waitress checked with the kitchen staff and came back to ensure me it was no problem. When my order arrived, I took two bites of the refried beans prior to tasting the entrée. Then, as I began to cut my first bite, I saw it was made with corn tortillas. I told my waitress, she was apologetic and took my plate to the back. A minute later a furious woman appeared, I believe it was the owner, yelling at me and telling me they didn’t make my meal with flour tortillas. She literally refused to make me something different and when I told her I wasn’t going to eat what they had made she told me she was calling the cops if I didn’t pay for it. I was so upset by this woman, I was shaking and speechless. To make matters worse, this woman stormed off and called the cops; who of corse agreed that they could not charge a customer for a meal I neither ordered, nor consumed. I am not a difficult customer. As I said before, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and am generally overly understanding and gracious with mistakes and I almost never return a meal. In fact, I still tipped my waitress on the way out, because she was new and I could tell she felt really bad and embarrassed about how we were treated. Needless to say, I am still dumbfounded, as to the level of mistreatment I experienced by the owner of this establishment. Obviously, I will never be back here again.

Fantastic Mexican Breakfast! It’s a small little place with good food, large portions at a reasonable price.

One of my first reviews so be nice. This is a family dining establishment, right off of Highway 70. I ordered the steak burger and thats what i got, two buns and a steak in between. It tasted great and was very filling. As an added bonus to frisky customers there is a condom dispenser in the guys restroom. Please take your friskyness elsewhere :)

This our favorite breakfast location! Try the Mexican Breakfast for a great breakfast with an out of the box fare for breakfast. Yes the truckers stop in time to time, but this is a locals restaurant; especially for the breakfast.

Typical trucker stop diner. Service was slow. It’s like the only place to eat in town.

Heading back from a day of enjoying the slopes I stopped and thought I’d get a bite to eat. I am EXTREMELY impressed. I ordered the day’s special; Club sandwich on Wheat with a cup of handmade Cream of Mushroom soup. Along with this came fresh-cut fries. It’s reasonably difficult to get fresh fries to come out perfectly. However these guys nailed it. Crispy and well flavored. Crispy is easy but having them still tender inside at the same time is the hard part. As good as the fries and sandwich were they paled in comparison to the soup. This was the best Cream of Mushroom soup I’ve ever had. It transcended awesome and went right to exquisite. Tender mushrooms, shallots, diced carrots all in a beautiful cream. It was fantastic! I even tried obtaining the recipe! Enjoy! I know I will the next time I’m in the area!
