Had a great time with my coworkers at this very nicely kept karaōke location! They had a deal for 8 Hite tall bottles for $ 45, which counted towards the«one drink» policy. Pretty reasonable prices, but I wish they would remind people when their hour was almost over to prevent extra charges. I was very happy to see the bouncer at the door because a lot of karaōke places don’t even bother to card anymore and are mostly filled with underage drunk teenagers. Great song selection, we sang Chinese and English songs; they have a lot of 90’s hip hop which was fun! The servers pretty much let us do our thing the whole night and did not intrude. Parking is very easy to find as the lot is huge. The restrooms were cleaned and maintained frequently. Will return!

Awesome place to hang out and sing! Fairly new selections of songs to sing too. Songs from English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean! They have a large touch screen menu for song selection and controls. Spacious clean environment with multiple private rooms available. Clean bathroom is always a plus! They have a selections of food and drinks as well! Located on the second floor!

Great ktv spot! Newly renovated! I love how clean this whole place is! The rooms are so nice and modern as most of the other ktv spots are all pretty tacky. And they serve alcohol! Me and my friends would always get the yogurt soju! Yummy! They serve food as well, great spot to hang out to eat and sing. Service was super nice and I’m pleased everytime!

Saturday night and they accommodated 20+ of us almost immediately. They have a huge room exactly for a group this size. There were two options: $ 98/hr for groups of 20+ or $ 18 per person for 2 hours. We took the $ 98/hr and were led into this huge room with plenty of tables and sofa space. There were two TVs but still only two available mics. This was sorta annoying in the beginning as we had 20+ people but after the alcohol started flowing, it didn’t matter. They also have that Chinese dice BS game to play in case the song on isn’t your jam. Pretty cool the way this place is set up. Didn’t know we could order milk teas until one of my cousins did. Also the rooms are clean and seem pretty new. I mean, walking in the hallways you could tell by the smells and paint that this place has been recently renovated. The rooms don’t smell strongly of cigarettes(reminiscent of many KTown karaōke bars). Also 21 and younger are able to join in the fun. They check IDs for all those who are drinking but with a group our size… ;) The only thing I had a problem with was the song selection system. It seemed terribly inefficient. It responds slow and it’s hard to search for particulars. But it got the job done.

I dont make it out to these private room karaōke places often, but i was a bit impressed with what they had. It was Action Jackson’s b-day, so they decided to hit up this spot out in the Hacienda Heights area. i don’t make it out there often either, but It was a good time. The place was really clean and proper, and the rooms had some nice technology. It wasnt over bedazzled like some of the other private room karaōke places. there was a huge touch screen monitor to pick and huge, and they had a wide variety of songs. Lots of international songs. There were a few Chinese songs that were sung beautifully by some folks. i would have followed along, but i didnt brush up on my Mandarin/Cantonese.(Not sure what language it was in, call me ignorant) controls were pretty easy to use. I’d say my only gripe was the location of the touch screen for picking songs. seems like if someone was choosing songs, they would get in the way of the people trying to look at the screen for the lyrics. i am terrible at knowing popular songs, so i def need the lyrics to be displayed. but no knock for that. i am sure there can be adjustments. parking is in a huge lot on a strip mall. shouldnt be a problem. this place is amazing for big groups. or a cozy session if you are into that. as far as food, they had a food menu. i think it was bar stuff. i think they have other stuff, but i didnt even look at it. As far as drinks, it was a beer/wine/Soju establishment, usual for these types of places i think. Good times.

Charged an extra cost due to a porated amount when we clearly asks for an hour of karaōke. Service didn’t ask when we wanted our check, but went ahead and charged us anyway. Not recommended! Go elsewhere

Do not come here! The selection is not good. They charge you for the service plus tip?! We asked for an hour and they let is stay longer without letting us know and ended up charging us for the extra time that we stayed. If your gonna charge us extra at least let us know ahead of time. If we go over time shouldn’t they come in and let us know instead of just charging extra? Anyways one hour of karaōke was not worth 125!

Under cooked rice and over cooked baked pork chop for everyone in our party. Limited food options. Additional comment: Chef came out afterward to apologize for the undercooked rice and comp-ed our dinners(we still paid the amount anyway). But it was nice that she took care of the customers. Changing from 1 star to 4.

Good equipment quality Easy to get a room Ok service For some reasons, some songs occasionally have sound in only one channel so it feels very weird. I’ve been here twice and it happened both times. The wireless microphones run out of batteries all the time. Expect to ask for change at least twice during a 3 – 4 hour session. Song selection is super easy. Touch screen. The catalog is fairly complete for both Chinese and English songs.

Seriously one of the worst experiences of karoake i have been to. I do have to admit that it is a nice facility but the price is not worth it. They automatically charge 15 percent for tip and they charge sales tax. They also have terrible service on top of everything. And each person needs to buy a drink on top of all that. Ktown might not be that nice as this place but at least they dont try to rip you off. Talked to the manager too. Absolutely useless. Just avoid this place. I’m pissed.

Horrible experience! The people work there promised and ensured us we can use the coupon they posted on one of their social network account a day before we went. When we arrived there and pulled down the coupon from their account, they refused to let us use the coupon! The only thing we asked after that was that they promise to only post coupon PEOPLECANUSE! The girl works there ignored what we said and kept telling us they are not responsible for that. That’s the marketing team’s job… The food there is overpriced. A small cup of ice tea is 4.5 dollar…

this location use to be joy karaōke, in fact, the sign for joy karaōke is still up there so just look for that when you drive into the plaza, it shares the plaza with obvious locations such as boiling point, starbucks and vons since this shop is located at the very edge of the plaza conspiciously First of all, don’t come here unless you know or have someone with you who can read chinese. I know I know you can adjust the menu settings for english readers but it’s just so much hassle when you have to scroll through the menu and the only viable search tool is either writing out the chinese words, typing out the chinese pinyin or typing out the english name(however, just getting to that step will take a few more clicks than worth trying). If you want to karaōke chinese songs, this is probably one of the newest/most updated/well decorated karaōke place. Happy hours start at 2:30 to 8pm for $ 16 per hour for the room(one drink per person)! Also 2:30−9pm for $ 20 per hour for the room and you get $ 10dollars worth of credit for food per person I THINK it could be for the whole room I’m not too sure since I did not choose the latter option. Selectionwise, every single chinese song old and new is in there. For english songs, they have taylors swift, maroon 5 etc. you get the idea. If you go into the artist menu, there’s literally over 1000 pages of artist to choose from(10 per page). Given there’s also korean songs(with song name and artist in korean words) and japanese songs(with song name and artist in katakana) so there’s no shortage of songs here as long as you can read the words and find them. If I want to karaōke all chinese songs, then I’d definitely pick this place. For a group of 7 ppl, after karaoking from 2:30−8pm, it was about 16dollars after tax and tip included which was a GREAT deal if you know karaōke rates. However, if I want to karaōke english songs more, I’d definitely go to max karaōke in little tokyo. Their HH rates are better(not because they have more english songs necessarily, but because the method of choosing songs are just so much simpler). Caution again, menu selection is only possible when you can read chinese, the english setting is also possible but very tedious.

Great place for karaōke. They have a good amount of new songs, and an awesome touch panel operating system for the karaōke machines, just like in Asia. The best part is that they have the actual music videos for the songs, so you don’t have to watch some weird chick walking around a town pondering about like a lot of weird karaōke places… lol you know what I’m talking about! The service is quick and the inside is nice and updated and clean.

Food and drinks were good… The only suggestion I have is menu selection for both should have more options. Especially drinks… There are only a handful of drinks, not a large selection. And they don’t have ranch… :/. Didn’t come for karaōke…

I’m one of those Unilocalers who only writes bad reviews. So trust me when I say THISPLACEROCKS. I was kind of bummed that my beloved Joy Karaōke and all its $ 10(later $ 12) happy hour glory was replaced by the trendier Energy Bistro & Karaōke, but change can be a good thing. I came here on a Saturday for happy hour. No, the price of $ 16/person didn’t keep me away because I’d have to pay about the same rate at Music Box which advertises $ 14/person, but that doesn’t include gratuity. And kids, don’t let the bar fool you — this place is all ages, so my 14-year-old cousin was able to come here, too. The process of getting a room at Energy is pretty similar to Music Box’s. You leave an ID with a staff member, they take you to a room and ask what you’d like to order for your free drink. They have food here, too, which I didn’t try but I probably will someday. The KTV setup is like the kind you’d see at karaōke places in China. Music Box pretty much has the same thing — a touch screen where you can search for songs/artists in different languages. I don’t think the language selection is very wide — I remember Joy Karaōke even had Vietnamese songs. Just something to consider if you’re hoping to sing non-English/Chinese songs. Also when you search for a specific song, make sure you don’t spell out the entire song/artist name. Just search for the first letter of every word in the name. E.g. ‘All Of Me’ — you’d search ‘AOM’ I like Music Box because they have actual music videos for their songs, AND they have plenty of Muse songs(albeit only the newer stuff). Energy has actual music videos, too!!! AND they have FIVE pages of Muse songs! That’s over 40 songs?!? Including their late ‘90s stuff??? Be still my heart… To all my fellow hipsters, this place also offers various indie songs. On to the stuff that’s not directly KTV-related. Service here is great. Ok it’s not helpful that there aren’t a lot of KTV places with decent service in the area, but you probably won’t end up feeling awkward after asking a staff member here for help. I remember Joy Karaōke’s restroom was a mess and stunk pretty bad, but Energy’s ladies’ restroom was surprisingly really clean, even as more people were coming during the afternoon. Everything about this place is great, except for a couple of things: 1. No remote?! This must be the first karaōke place I’ve ever been to that didn’t have a remote for their karaōke system. You have to go up to the screen and tap ‘next’ to skip a song. Sucks if you’re short on time and you want to skip the occasional slow-ish song. 2. The KTV system starts to lag after a while. Not all the music videos are synchronized with the songs and it takes a few seconds to skip a song after you’ve already pressed«next». 3. What happened to the Russian lady who worked for Joy Karaōke?(I’m just assuming she’s Russian because the reviewers on Joy Karaōke’s Unilocal page say she’s Russian) She was really sweet and helpful; I wonder if she’s working at Energy on weekdays or something. If not, she is definitely missed! So come here and sing your heart out before this place gets ridiculously popular and service starts to sag. I’ll be back for sure!

What an awesome addition to the Karaōke industry in the San Gabriel Valley! I am definitely excited to see ENERGY taking over the Korean Karaōke joint and cleaning this place up! And it is definitely a bonus that this location serves ALCOHOL! The current alcohol selection includes Beer, Soju and Sake! — LOCATION: Located toward the left side of the plaza on the 2nd Floor. — PRIVATEROOMS: They have different sizes available depending on the size of your party. It is always best to call for reservations before heading over(especially during weekends and holidays). — SONGSSELECTION: Mainly Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. During my visit, I noticed a lot of newer songs have horrible downloaded music videos and simplified Chinese characters. Hoping that they would upload a better version as it becomes available and add more English selection to their system as time goes. The karaōke system itself crashed twice during my 5 hour visit. Kinda annoying to have to call the staff and wait for the system to reboot. — RATES: $ 16/person during happy hour.(Mon-Thur: 4−9pm; Fri-Sun & Holiday: 2:30p-8p)… Evening rates varies from $ 28-$ 48/hour depending on the size of your party and the room size and each individual is require to order one drink. — MANDATORYSERVICECHARGE: Please note that they already added service charge to your bill. The $ 16/person happy hour rate already included service charge, and they will charge 15% tips for evenings. — SERVICE: Service is always great at the Energy Karaōke. They usually leave you alone unless you press the service button. The staff are always courteous and comes promptly when you press the service button. — PARKING: Plenty of parking available.

The song selection aren’t that great. Alot of the American songs have horrible video quality. The prices are really high. Wayne the owner is an asshole.
