Just left. Enjoyed an early dinner with my fiancé. Perfect time. Not crowded. I ordered the chicken platter and he ordered the beef and chicken platter. Food was good. The only thing I didn’t like was the salad. I’m not a fan of Greek salad. The waitress was nice enough to give us extra pita bread when we asked.

Great spot around the corner from my office. It’s my «go-to» for a quick lunch. Food is always flavorful and cooked well. The owner is hospitable and will remember you if you go more than a handful of times. I especially like the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap and the Greek Salad. I’ve had the kebab lunch special with rice which is also great. Definitely one of the better spots non-Hispanic spots in lower Main.

Quick delivery but for the cost… Not a lot of food. Greek salad was a tiny container and only 4 pieces of gyro meat for 13 dollars. One half piece of pita given w tzakizi appetizer for 7 dollars.

Not much to go by, but here’s my first impression: Cute lunch spot if you work or are in the area. I got the soup & salad special. Avgolemono was decent, but a little salty(and I do love salty food). Salad was your standard Greek salad, but the tzatziki needs some TLC(didn’t taste like anything) and the vinaigrette was a little tangy. Both the soup and salad came with 4 slices of toasted pita bread. Portion sizes were generous.

This place is amazing. The lady that owns it is super sweet and so is her daughter. The food is amazing. I love it and recommend it to everyone.

It was our first time eating here and must say I am very unhappy. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered our food for delivery. It took and hr and 45 mins to get the food. The lady on the phone was rude when I called to find out what was going on. When the food finally did get here it was cold. The fries were moosh and the lettuce was wilted. The pita and the gyro meat were burnt and like cardboard. We couldn’t even eat our food. The spanikopita was beyond over cooked you couldn’t even bite it. Never again a waste of time and money!

So authentic and delicious! Was in the area and looking for somewhere to have dinner. We decided on Greek and we definitely made the right decision. The staff was very friendly. We had spanakopita and the fried zucchini for appetizer and then gyro/chicken platter and chicken Mykonos for entrees. Everything was great! We finished it off with traditional baklava. They also have great Greek Tea– a must try! I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

We have been going to this restaurant for several years. Gina is a great hostess and is meticulous about her food. The food is great. My kids love the Greek meatballs(keftedes). Just be prepared to wait a bit for your meal. We had a very nice tender beef special on spaghetti when we were there this week. She has also begun delivery which is a big plus. The atmosphere is welcoming.

Just finished yet another delicious dinner. They never disappoint. The people here are really nice and happy to share information about the food. Greek coffee and tea picked from the mountains in Greece were great on this bitter cold day. Wish I could come more often.

These guys rock. They delivered food to the hospital where I was staying. I was defiant and ate against doctors orders but preferred not to starve me nor my baby. The delivery guy was patient as I tried to direct him to find me considering security etc. He found his way to my room and the food was fantastic. When out in Hackensack, they will be my first choice. 2 Thumbs up and 5 stars for service and deliciousness.

Best Greek food our family has had in a while. Everything from the mouth watering mussels in the most delicious red sauce, the juicy and perfect seasoned lamb chops to the moist pineapple cake that left us craving more was PERFECTION! Great food, great ambiance and great service! Definitely worth our hike over the bridge into New Jersey!

High marks for food, friendliness, and service. Started with the octopus which was a tender and tasty as it gets with a lemony sauce. Followed with a village salad topped with gyro(chicken and gyro for my friends). The gyro was amazing, so supple; melt in your mouth. Full sized portions(one of my friends could not finish). Hard to imagine this is same place that was panned so harshly by other reviewer. We were in town just for the day, but this would be a regular if we worked or lived nearby. Thanks for a great lunch while on the road.

Fresh ingredients, delicious platters(lamb platter is official). Also their gyros are better than other gyros i’ve tried. Eat here twice a week, its a great place with a friendly staff. Coming back for their chilean sea bass on the grill

Went here for lunch. It was quiet, which was fine for us. BYOB. Everything tasted very fresh and the waitress was helpful. I got the lamb gyro platter and my friend had the befteki gyro. Both cooked to order right then and there. I would definitely go back to this place.

I come here quite often seeing as I work just down the road. My go-to order is either a gyro in a pita or the tilapia platter. Both solid choices if you are hungry and enjoy tasty food. All platters come with a choice of fries or rice, and a small greek salad. My favorite appetizer to order is the grilled haloumi, which comes with grilled slices of tomato and pita wedges. If you like cheese, haloumi is a must try as not all greek restaurants carry it. It is the only cheese that can be grilled as it won’t melt. I like to call it «squeaky cheese» as it sorta squeaks on your teeth when you chew it. But don’t let this discourage you from trying it, I have turned many friends on to it. I’ve never had a problem with service either. I am limited to exactly an hour for lunch, so I order my food ahead of time and it is ready when I arrive. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I’ve heard that they sometimes have live music on the weekends. I have yet to stop by for dinner, but the atmosphere would make a cozy place to have a date night.

Ordered off the lunch specials menu and decided on the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap w/fries. My meal was to go but I sat around long enough to enjoy the atmosphere. Though there wasn’t much going on as for as décor or much evidence that you were at a authentic Greek spot, it was comfy and cute. The wrap was just what I was craving. It was filled with chicken, tomato, feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. I’m not a big fan of balsamic so I was glad to see that the chicken was not doused in it. The chicken was juicy and in no way undercook as I have had happen to me before in other establishments in Hackensack. The wrap on the outside was crisp and had grill marks which gave it that perfect hint of burned taste without being disgusting and overwhelming. Not sure if the fries are hand cut or frozen(I’m no expert yet, my guess is frozen) but they were yummy. I paid $ 8.00 for my lunch and was satisfied. To be honest, however, I have come across bigger wrap portions for an $ 8.00 price tag. As the Terminator once said, «I’ll be back.»

We were a group of 4 looking for a BYOB place in Hackensack since we originally made reservations for 2 at another location and when 2 more unexpectedly joined us, the restaurant couldn’t accommodate a larger group. We Unilocaled something nearby and walked past this place. Now, I always feel good about Greek food. It doesn’t make me feel as guilty as other types of food do, and most of the time it is delicious! We stopped in and were seated right away. We had a great waitress who I later found out was the owner of the restaurant. The restaurant seemed very new but it has been open for 2 years or more. We went for the traditional greek platters with chicken/gyro and Greek fries. First came our Greek salad, yum! Then came out platters. It was everything I was expecting and very very good. In terms of atmosphere, we felt like we crashed a family party. Everyone in the restaurant knew each other. At one point or another everyone got up to sing a song also. At first we thought the music was pretty loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk. But 2 bottles of wine later, we were glad we ended up there because although we didn’t know why everyone seemed to know each other, it turned out to be a homey feel and we got very involved with watching everyone perform and laughed a lot. There wasn’t a person in the restaurant that didn’t have a smile on. Lastly, the desserts were amazing and the perfect finish. I forget the name but I had a custard dessert described as ‘light’ by the owner and i couldn’t believe how good it was. We stayed a while after our meal to finish our wine and we were not rushed out at all. We were even invited to their holiday party later that month. Amazing service. It is hard to leave this place without a smile on your face! I would just call this a good meal, it was a good experience.
