HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a custom cake for a birthday party. I was suprised when I cut in t the cake to find I got something different from what I ordered. Not even close! I called back to complain, I was told to call back because they were busy.

I am a contradiction when it comes to Cold Stone. It is overpriced, but I won’t complain (did I just complain?). The choices are overwhelming, but that’s what I love.
The service is friendly and the final product is consistent in size, taste and presentation. I love cheesecake ice cream with graham or a mint-​flavored ice cream with crushed chocolate cookies. My little charges love making weird concoctions like bubble gum ice cream with gummy bears or graham crackers. Odd combinations, but they can make them at Cold Stone.
As this Cold Stone is located on Kings Highway, you may find yourself unable to just pull up and run in. Factor some extra minutes into your visit if you’re following a schedule or picking something up to take someplace.

Soo as we all know, Coldstone is in fact a chain ice cream shop. Let’s look at the basics here. Coldstone is kinda pricey for ice cream. Coldstone is not as good as the most amazing homemade ice cream you’ve ever had. However, it’s pretty damned good and of course their draw is mixing in your choice of toppings.
This particular ColdStone has a location very convenient to my house, and all the girls are very friendly and upbeat, and very patient with folks who go there semi regularly and yet never know what they want and take forever to decide, not that I would do that.

Some of the best ice cream combinations around. Always order one size smaller than you think you would want. A little Cold Stone Creamery goes a long way.

I love ice cream. I have no idea what in hell they serve here. It certainly isn’t ice cream. It’s more like plastic with crap mixed in to hide the fact.
You can get Bassett’s at several locations only a few steps away so why would you bother with this stuff?

I LOVE this place. The ice cream is so flipping good and the whole concept is cool w/​the ‘cold stone’ and how you can watch them put in your yum-​yums of choice. I go right for the diabetic delight of cake batter or cookie batter w. gloppity fudge. I love icecream and have eaten my definite share of it and find this to be the BEST I’ve EVER had hands down :) Since I have a cold and don’t want to share it with others, I’m dissing making (chocolate w/​Reese p. butter chips) cookies for Thanksgiving and think I’m going to buy a pie there (coupon in Sunday’s CPost !) Enjoy :)

Yeah, there may be equal but I’ve never had better than cold stone.
I normally prefer their sweet cream ice cream with a raspberry mix in, but occasionally can be tempted by a unique flavor (such as pumpkin pie with a graham cracker pie crust mix in.) Yum!
My son’s a peanut butter freak, so it’s peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter and crumbled peanut butter cup mix ins. His birthday cake last year was from here and was a chocolate cake with peanut butter ice cream with reeses cup mix in’s on top.
Now, these evil people have created ice cream cupcakes. Seriously, check the website. Smallish cake/​ice cream/​icing confections that have me this close to driving there RIGHT NOW to eat one. Of course with that much sugar I’d need to run all the way back home, but it may be worth it.
Hmm, raining. I’ll pass for now. Don’t forget the milkshakes though, a lot of folks don’t know they make them and it’s a great way to get your cold stone fix without worrying about melting issues. I prefer these if we’re road tripping.
Oh, and it doesn’t matter what flavor, they’re all good!
