While driving up Kamehameha Hwy, Route 99, to explore the north shores of O’ahu, it was highly recommended by a great friend of ours that we stop by the Black Pearl Source. When we entered the boutique, we were warmly greeted by Isabelle’s friendly smile. Their customer service and pearl education is superb.
I love pearls, especially black Tahitian pearls, and boy do they have a wide selection. The biggest struggle I have as a man that loves pearls is that it is extremely difficult to find pearl jewelry that is masculine, that isn’t just made from mother of pearl. I was immediately able to spot several pieces that I loved. They have simple, clean, and gorgeous settings that don’t require drilling into the pearl. Two big sellers for me: 1.) they make and design their own jewelry, so I was able to pick my pearl and setting; 2.) their settings are truly unique to them, and I love having things that aren’t out in the masses. So now I am a proud owner of a truly unique and beautiful necklace. I’d highly recommend stopping by the Black Pearl Source for all your pearl jewelry needs.

I love the jewelry in the Black Pearl Source. The owner is an amazing creator of unique pieces. Other partner is most knowledgeable person on strands ever, plus can do top quality stringing.
I have a design called «the wave» that never fails to create interest when I wear it. It is a one of a kind made for that pearl. The pearl is wrapped in the metal without gluing or screwing it. In my opinion the best way to present a fine pearl.
