I was last here in 2006 when they actually sold surf equipment & boards, not just shirts. If you’re looking for a cool souvenir then you’ve come to the right place. But it’s a far cry from what it used to be.

This is the real deal. All the clothes are made and sold only at their store. You will not find a better place to pick up a great t-shirt or sweatshirt as a souvenir of your visit to the North Shore. Super friendly staff. Double your good time and eat next door at the Grass Skirt for an excellent local lunch. You just might see a famous surfer scarfing down his lunch there.

Whenever I get back to the aina, I usually drop by Strong Current. This is the original, NS spot for one-of-a-kine local print shirts… Well, here & Matusmoto’s! Matsumoto’s — Great shirts + nice designs + local flavor = «Winnahs!» Big Aloha! Food: n/a Ambiance: 3 Service: 4 Value: 5

Went in to get their logo tshirts. No customer service here. The two sales ladies just stand behind the cashier counter.

I stopped by back in ’02. Picked up a Strong Current brand long sleeve T. Still wear almost every week buh sadly its seen its best days pass. I doubt I will ever get back to the North Shore(I am in New Hampshire) for a replacement. Is the shop the only place to pick up a branded tee?

Longboard heaven. One of the last bastions of the soul surfer. Lots of t-shirts and an amazing collection of vintage boards hanging from the ceiling. Stop in, talk story, buy a shirt and stickers for the ride. This shop could have come right out of «The Endless Summer» and I’m glad I swung in, it met my expectations.

Cute shop with great surf brand. It is my understanding they make custom surf boards. I picked up some great tees for my niece and nephew and received a free cool bumper sticker of my choice. I also found some vintage postcards that were eco-friendly. Definitely not your run of mill store to get souvenirs.

Another Hawaiian surf brand that I love and can only be found in Hawaii. Love this place and their shirts, stickers, etc. Makes it even better that it’s on the North Shore. Look out, bruddah.
