Wonderful gallery. Super nice staff! Thomadro’s «IlluminARTi» collection is a must see! They are also feature several other local artists, lots of different styles… there is something for everyone here.

There is some great artwork in here done by local artists. Jordan Dodson’s work is some of my personal favorites in the gallery. I love the simplicity of the art mixed in w/the thick graph like lines. She also uses the most vibrant and cheerful colors. Don’t be scared away by the fact it’s an art gallery. There are some pricey pieces in there(and absolutely stunning) but there are also more affordable ones as well.

This is a darling little art gallery in the North Shore. There are multiple art galleries with the same name, but this one is right next to the cute local icecream shop. My friend who was visiting the islands wanted to go inside to price the art. She is more of a collector than I, and was looking for something for her new house. We entered the perfectly cooled building from the back, and walked around a little bit until we found an employee, who was trying to hide the fact that we obviously walked in on her lunch break. I felt bad, because I didn’t want to interrupt her, but she was super nice and helpful, and explained the costs that we asked for. She wasn’t pushy in the least, and let us look at what we wanted, when we wanted. We didn’t actually buy anything, but going in there was a nice experience, and I’ll do it again the next time I’m over there. FAVORITEPART — There’s a little sign that tells you to «Please touch the [metal] art.» I expected it to say not to touch the little fun figurines, but it actually tells you to pick ‘em up, if you want. In summary, it’s a good place for local art — some of the stuff is a little risqué, but I’m ridiculous and I know it. I loved some of the prints, and I very much prefer the staff here to other art galleries, where I feel like others are always pushing you to buy, instead of wanting you to really connect to a piece. I’d stop in, if you’re in the market for art, or want to just browse. I’ll be back!
