One of my older sisters work here, so she knows what I like and always gets its right. :) Also since my sis works here her co-workers are always nice to me — good to have an «in» with places ;). But it’s still pretty far from where I live, so I don’t get to go here often. Better than the one in Linda Mar Pacifica.

Just left this location, and was shocked. 4 people standing behind the counter doing nothing. Employees were not friendly and it was extremely dirty inside. I have never been to a Starbucks that I would call a disgrace to the organization. With how small this location is, there should be no reason why the condiment bar is disgusting, and coffee spilled on the counters and floor. It starts from the top, and it’s clear that the manager doesn’t take pride in his position. Shameful.

My wife and I needed a pick-me-up after driving up the«slow coast». We were thinking of staying the night someplace along the coast, but as we sipped our delicious Hot Chai Tea Latte and Tall Pike Place coffee, we decided to head into the City. Thank you Starbucks, for guiding our vacation spontaneity!

Terrible customer service! I visited with my husband this morning and for the most part had a good experience. Until I tried to pay. They’ve switched to a new chip reader system, which is great, but not fully functioning. I called my bank to figure out why my card was not being accepted and was told that their chip reader(at Starbucks) was not working and that it was not my card. I figured it might be useful to let the employees know so they could relay any necessary info to other customers having the same issue, but was rudely told I was wrong by a female barista with shorter dark hair. Don’t waste your time with the less than spectacular customer service… They only offer bad attitudes. Better off with Peets’s across the street. Side note: while I was trying to figure out why my card wasn’t working a gentleman, whom I wasn’t able to see, paid for my coffee, so thank you to that guy! These barista should take note!

The lady is very rude and the coffee wasn’t good. The time of making the drinks were extremely long. Will not go there again

Evelyn is suck… They didn’t control the line and became two lines on each cashier. Actually I was in the first line and some dumb guys start making another line. Evelyn knew I was in the line first but ask me to wait all the way back to the end of the other line. Really? I hate stupid people.

We just woke up at 4:30 Sunday morning and decided to take a trip to the coast. Starbucks in Half Moon Bay seemed like a good idea to spend a while enjoying a roll and some coffee. Perhaps a little music, as we both love everything from Joplin to Led Zeppelin and Death Cab for Cutie. Unfortunately, we were greeted by the most obnoxious racket I’ve heard outside of the ghetto. It was mostly an arhythmic percussive thumping punctuated occasionally by a nasal whining screech. About what you’d expect from a sick parrot in a plastic drum with people beating on it with baseball bats. We got our coffee and left as fast as we could and won’t be back.

This Starbucks has gone rapidly downhill since the current manger, Tony, took over. The place is often dirty. The lines much longer than need be with the amount of staff. Drinks are inconsistent and he is often unwilling to give refills. He challenges the customers request for one as if he were himself paying for the free refills that Starbucks offers himself. Now, I go to Peetes. Consistently good coffee, no lines, always clean and respect. See ya, Starbucks!

If I can give a 0 star I would. Damn horrible service and shitty employees! Made my venti ice coffe too full it was spilling over all over the lid. I tried to soak it up with a napkin and stuck the straw in and it made a mess again. I asked to get another cup and the f’ckin so called barista grab it out of my hands and poured some out and gave it back to me. Damn adshole!!!

Why can’t everyone make carmel machiato’a the same? The one I had here over July 4th weekend was perfect. It was busy no doubt, but why did they have the bathrooms closed?

The drinks are hit or miss depending on who makes it. This location is small and always crowded and dirty. Every time I go here I stray away from the pastries because I have seen flies! Buzzing around the pastries(I’ve seen this happen literally more than 5 different visits) Customer service is ok, but I’ve been at other Starbucks and coffee shops where customer service was better. I only come here if I’m craving a frap at Starbucks and since half moon bay is a small town, not really any choice for frap’s

+ Typical Starbucks standards for coffee. They also have coffee porcelain cup for drinking in the store. + Fast 50 Mb internet access. + Free wireless charging for your phone with Powermat Rings set out for free to use. Micro USB connector. Apple Lightning connector. Older style Apple connector. Available at the bar and table areas. + Outdoor and indoor seating + Easy off and on Highway 1(PCH) + located close to everything else you could need in a strip mall.

Service here is not good. I usually get an indifferent attitude. Drinks go from great to terrible depending on who’s making them. 3 employees, store is slow and tables/condiment area are dirty. But it’s in Half Moon Bay where the options are limited. I was there for over an hour. As I’m leaving; All 3 employees standing behind counter talking, one playing on her phone. No one in line and the trash can is full, condiment bar a mess, tables and floors are dirty. Come on now, can’t we do better then this? Where is a manger to keep these girls on track?

This Starbucks is kinda small, no drive-up, really busy. I just love the fact that I can travel most anywhere and get the same coffee. My hubby had the white peppermint mocha. I had my white chocolate. Love my Starbucks :-)

I’ve only been here twice, once a year ago, and once last week. Let me just say, it hasn’t changed a bit. Their service is really good most days, but the moment school gets out, you do NOT want to be there. The way this Starbucks is built isn’t efficient for the kinds of crowds commonly seen here. Basically, if you aren’t taking your drink/snack to go, you’re going to have to sit at the lawn table in front of subway! So, with that being said, we both realize that this particular Starbucks is under a lot of pressure to serve a lot of people fast, right? Well, both times I went there, I saw two employees working, and three just standing around staring at the growing hoard of teenage girls. Next time you’re in line here, take a look at the pastries. You’re certain to see flies chowing down on soon-to-be-sold baked goods. Come on Starbucks! With not one but THREE employees just standing around staring open-mouthed at the line of customers, not ONE of them could be shooing away flies?! I witnessed one women in line in front of me informing the cashier of the fly problem. The cashier just nodded her head.

My lady and I have been coming here for a couple years. No one has ever bothered to learn our names or pay much attention to cleanliness at this location. Drinks are inconsistent at best, but usually correct; even if the shots taste expired. Most of the baristas are slow, even more so at night. More socializing with each other than focusing on the customer. The lobby is usually kinda dirty, with the condiment bar trash can almost always overflowing. Behind the counter usually looks fairly tidy and clean. The bathroom is iffy, but excusable for being off of the 1. The location is great and most of their problems are not unique to just this location, but Starbucks in general. For a better cup of coffee Peet’s lurks across the street… with it’s own set of issues.

What’s open on Christmas day? Starbucks! What else is open Christmas day near by? Nothing. Or it felt that way! This Starbucks was crazy Christmas morning. For hubby and I it was our last stop before leaving Half Moon Bay on our Cali road trip for breakfast. Staff was very friendly especially for having to work Christmas Day(thank you!) and they were very efficient for how busy it was! And my Chai was spot on!
