Traveled to Halifax for dinner tonight. 1st time @ grille 58. Great experience food was good reasonable prices and the bartenders were very friendly Can’t wait to go back

Love it here! The services is always on point! The steak I order was very delicious! Best steak I had in a long time! Highly recommend eating here! You won’t regret it!

I greatly enjoyed this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with how nice and clean the establishment was. The food was very good as well. I ordered the fisherman’s platter with scollops, haddock, and whole clams. The portions were just right and I was very happy with the quality. The only negative I would say is that the onion rings did not impress me very much and next time I would ask to replace them with more fries.
Overall I would say this is a very family friendly restaurant that I would be happy to go to again.

Good food, good waitstaff. Very pleasant hostess. A little more expensive than similar places, but the servings were quite generous. Clean looking, pleasant atmosphere, not terribly noisy. This should have been a four star review but.
A lot of flies. Not one, not two, but a lot. They plagued us during our short wait and buzzed our table throughout our meal.
I really don’t understand why management would allow that. If I ran the place, there would be search and destroy missions before opening and after closing. Flies are not what I want with my dinner and it makes me wonder how many are in the kitchen.
We won’t go back because of that. Too bad, as that is so unnecessary.

Been here a couple of times and we are big fans. So is everyone else. It is busy here on the weekends and expect a small wait. The seafood is very good and other meals are flavorful. Prices aer very reasonable. A must try.

Really good food, large portiins, always packed, small bar area (bummer). Atmosphere is ok. They have a nice waiting area with small tables so you can have a cocktail while waiting. Nice touch!

Came here for the first time… and my only regret was not coming sooner! Appetizers.. loaded tater tots… very good amd big enough to share with the whole table. Cheesy garlic bread had enough cheese that it was actually creamy and the marinara was very tasty! Foe entrees we had triple decker Reuben and chicken supreme. Both were great… I would even go as far as to say it was the best chicken supreme I have ever had.
Wait staff were super friendly and even the other patrons were sociable. We almost felt like we were at Cheers.
I can’t wait to come back and try some dessert!

Grille 58 is really good. My wife and used to go three times a week when we lived in Halifax.
I got a New York Sirloin this time and I’ve gotta say I have never seen a steak trimmed that well. There was no fat cap left on it at all. It was great. Cooked right and topped with blue cheese and bacon. How can you go wrong?
They also have excellent scallop which my wife got. Again they were great as they always are. And I must add since the price of scallops went through the roof many restaurants went to cheap processed smaller options but here they are HUGE and really good.
