Golden Isles Park

This is so small that shouldnt be on Unilocal or on the map. The childrens near to the «dog park» is very nice, but this is not a place you want to come with your dog!

There is a relatively new dog park (opened in Feb 2009) in Hallandale Beach (yay!!!). It is located in the Golden Isles Park, near the tennis courts and behind the kiddie play area. It is a very small dog park, with a doggie water fountain. Although it is small… I love it! Why? Because it is walking distance for me. So, it does not require the usual getting into the car, etc. routine. I can just walk my dog there. fantastic. Also, you probably get to meet people a little more because it is smaller — so that’s nice too. Since it is new, it hasn’t been too busy yet. However, I presume once the word is out, it might get busier, especially by the people who live nearby… Enjoy if you live nearby. If you don’t, it’s prolly too small to be worth a drive, unless you like a small park. Dogs of all sizes are welcome there. yay for my big boy!
