I love getting food from here. It’s not heavy and it fills you. I have eaten there and the service was good. I get take out a lot from here and they come within a good amount of time and the food is hot when it get to me.

Below average tasting Americanized Chinese food. My wife felt ill after eating the seafood dumplings. Strange/creepy group sitting at the bar when you first walk in, or smoking outside. What’s the point of coming here, again? Err… Can’t think of one.

Dire. Reluctant waitstaff and mall food court-style food. Goopy bland or sweet sauces from a jar, the whole presentation is tired. Hardly anyone else in there on a Saturday lunch time which should have been the tip-off.

As much as things change they always stay the same… Same crowd in the bar over the last 25 years… Food has been relatively consistent I prefer the General Tso’s chicken lunch special for 7 bucks you can’t go wrong… Places really divy… Used to be one of the best places in New Haven County on a Friday or Saturday night now its a ghost town with a bigger bar in the middle of it… But that’s the circle of life

Just got takeout here for lunch today. Worst dumplings I have ever had(I ordered the vegetable steamed dumplings.) Good dumplings have a thin wrapper; these were VERY thick and pasty, with very little of a bland filling. My Moo Shu Pork and my friends’ orders were just OK, but not as bad as the dumplings.

The food here is delicious. Their delivery service is fast and comes before the estimated time. My boyfriend and I ordered from here two times, and although they certainly have the best tasting chinese food around, I will never order from here again. An hour after eating my dinner I started to feel queezy. Figured I’d try to sleep it off since it was only 6pm. When I woke up it was the beginning of a long night with vomiting, diarrhea and terrible stomach pains. I was so upset the whole time because I couldn’t help but think of how good the food tasted and how terrible I felt. The only difference between what we ate was the crab rangoons. This may have been a fluke with our order, but it ruined my love for chinese food for sure.

Golden Chopsticks is great. My fiancé and I used to frequent this place when we lived in town(never ordered delivery) only to sit down. i do not know how this place stays open, seeing how every time we go there to sit down and eat, we are the only people in there. We always order the steamed dumplings which are great(I have no idea what this other girl a few reviews down is talking about) but they are definitely NOT frozen. I always order hot tea with my meal which is always good(even if it is the standard tea!) Overall, next to Shenzhen Delight down the street, this place is just as good(and they have excellent fried noodles they serve you also). Stop by and give it a try. PS– Just look out for their«bar crowd» that seem like homeless men that haven’t showered in a while that are usually in the bar area and smoking outside the front of this place…

As I pulled up to pick up my takeout order, five pretty drunk low lifes were smoking cigarettes on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Numerous others weirdos were at the bar inside. One table was taken for dinner on a Saturday. The steamed dumplings were gross, probably the cheapest frozen kind they could find. The moo shoo shrimp was ok, but it looked like it came with tortillas from Price Rite. The ambiance(or lack there of) was enough to make me never want to return. Even for take out!

Reliable, good ol’ chinese food when all you want is general tso’s chicken and dumplings in your belly. Easy pick up, too. Can’t ask more from your local neighborhood restaurant.

Take out maybe fine but, we went there for sit-down dinner and the first thing they served a skunked beer, of course it was quickly replaced. Then dinner came, I ordered seafood delight at the recommendation of the waitress and my husband order a Chow Mein, so sorry. The shrimp or all the seafood were bleached and it was very evidenced in the dish(Google: «bleaching shrimp» to find out why this is bad). We were queasy all night and will not go there again.

Pleasant faces, good tasting food and a nice clean space. Solidly decent go-to for(American)Chinese food.

I’ve been eating here at least twice a week since June 2011. The food is way above average for Chinese food in the New Haven area. On the lunch special menu they have the usual fare but the crispy dishes are crispy and not soggy. There are a few Thai dishes like Thai chicken. Prices are $ 4.95 to $ 6.95. Wednesday and Friday all lunch specials are $ 4.95. Soup or egg roll or spring roll are included. Service is prompt. They do not offer a buffet but frankly I haven’t had good buffet since the Panda closed in Orange. Go here and you won’t be disappointed.

Used to be the old China Lantern. This place wins for having the fastest delivery of any place around. Granted we live right up the hill behind it. My boyfriend and I joke that as soon as he hangs up the phone from ordering they are probably already in the car and on their way to us, lol! They have these lettuce wraps that are unique and not typically on a «Chinese» takeout menu, but they are delicious. My boyfriend is a big fan of their chicken and broccoli. Keep up the great work!
