They only have a no-sugar added option(I’m diabetic. No, I’m not fat, I ride my bicycle to this shop, and have controlled my diabetes with diet+exercise for 15 years. My BMI is 21 at 5’7″ and 130 lbs) about half the times I stop in. I know no-sugar isn’t popular, but 29 million adults(c. 9.3% of the population, almost 1 in 10 people) have diabetes. Get with it. They gave me a loyalty card(they punch it when you buy a coffee or tea, free cup when you fill the card), and when I showed up and drank tea enough times to fill it, they told me they weren’t honoring them any more. Poor form… not good business. Not going back now.

I find none of these low reviews viable bc clearly you enjoy the commercialism of fro-yo. Personally, I love peachy keen, granted its not huge, but that’s the point. Its a smaller business carving its way into the business world in a extraordinary hard economy. i love going in for a refreshing soft served yogurt now and again. Your in then your out, there is outside sitting if you care to stay. The flavor range from you traditional vanilla and chocolate to whatever maybe in season. I also can’t stand froyo it’s soooo commercial I support the mom and pops shop especially when this is small business where the owners themselves are working the counters to help serve their customers. I have never received bad serves or seen these so called limited toppings. I completely enjoy this place and encourage other to try it

The yogurt is tasty, but their are never enough flavors or toppings. Plus, they are stingy with the samples. There are too many yogurt bars out there people. Time to step up your game Peachy Keen. On a side note: the college girl working the counter was lovely.

Great stop on Farmington canal greenway. Thats how we found it. Small shop but the favors were just right. Cake batter was great ! The dulche leche was good. We will be back!

Extremely mediocre. Just very plain soft-serve frozen yogurt — vanilla, chocolate — just the basics — and uninspired toppings. Given the name, I would have expected some fruit flavors and maybe fresh fruit toppings.

1st choice: Kiwi Spoon in Wallingford, 2nd choice: FroYo World in NH or Hamden, and last would be Peachy Keen even though it is closest to my house. I don’t like the atmosphere and the toppings choices are sub par.(Toppings get mixed in with others ones and that’s where they stay) But probably the biggest gripe is the counter staff. They could less that you’re even in the place and prefer to chat amongst themselves instead. That’s happened on every occasion I’ve been there. Customer service is important.

Compared to the other Froyo places in New Haven, this place is just ok. The Froyo itself was pretty good. The peanut butter flavor was really awesome, definitely my favorite of the few I tried. I also had cake batter which was good and the original tart which was a little too tart for my liking. They have a decent amount of toppings but again, pails in comparison to Froyo World. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because of the atmosphere. The place needs music or something. You could hear a pin drop aside from the Dr. Phil baby mama drama episode that was playing on the TV. It might also be more cozy if there were some other tables since there’s a big giant space in the middle of the room. Overall, it’s worth the trip is you’ve got a sweet tooth and don’t want the calories of premium ice cream at the other local Hamden shops.

Amazing! Fresh ingredients, no preservatives, & friendly staff. I also love that they change up the selection every few weeks…

I’m definitely a fan of the FROYO places popping up everywhere. So far the benchmark for me is Peach Wave in Bethel. I have high standards so please take that into consideration when reading my review. Small frozen yogurt place. Yogurt was sub-par in texture. It had a lot of ice crystals in it and wasn’t very smooth. Only has the capacity for 6 different flavors. The toppings weren’t as expansive in selection as in other froyo places and the whipped cream wasn’t chilled, it was just a can sitting out on the counter which sprayed me since it was nearly empty when I used it. Does not have hot fudge, only chocolate sauce that seemed watered down. I will not be returning. The parking lot is tight and cramped although tonight wasn’t too busy and I was able to get a spot without a problem. Seating is extremely limited.

I was really excited for this new self-serve froyo place, which opened just down the street from Quinnipiac this semester, and it seems like everyone else was too. Peachy Keen had a steady flow of customers when I stopped in last Tuesday, and I’ve noticed that the small plaza’s parking lot has been pretty full as of late. It’s your standard self-serve froyo stop — two sizes of cups, choose your frozen yogurts, top with fresh fruits, mochi, cheesecake bites, cookie dough, candy, various syrups, and pay 49 cents an ounce. It’s not quite up to the standards other area froyo places have set though. It may be a result of the tiny location, but there were only six flavors of frozen yogurt, and I didn’t think there were as many toppings as I’ve seen elsewhere. On my first trip, I went with vanilla, dulce de leche, and apple pie. The vanilla was kind of icy, not very creamy, and the dulce de leche had a lot of flavor but was a thinner consistency than the rest and melted pretty quickly. I topped it all off with some cheesecake bites, brownie bites, and chocolate turtles. The brownie bites were a little gritty, and the chocolate turtles were kind of chalky. I think in the future, I’ll stick to fruit toppings, since those looked better. This past Tuesday was«Student Tuesday,» so I got 10% off with my student ID. If you check their facebook page, it seems they have discounts like that pretty often.(On Super Bowl Sunday, they had a 15% off deal for football attire.) While the place probably still has a few kinks to work out, it’s a welcome addition to the area. You can’t really do froyo wrong. This place is A-OK.
