Walmart Supercenter

Well, I left a review a while back. Things started changing for the better here, so I thought it should be noted.
Anyone, who has been shopping here for the last few years has to see the changes. Many bad reviews still. The tides are turning slowly for the better.
Many new employees. Happier ones. It’s stocked much better and more consistently. It’s also much cleaner. I seem to always get along with the cashiers.
I think customers can be a bit hard on them at times. Patience people. It’s like being in bad traffic.
Everyone is in a hurry. If it’s busy, play a game on your phone. It’s not the end of the world to wait.
I have seen management on the floor doing work. That’s nice to see.
Now, why I still only gave 3 stars ?
The CSM’S at register 17 are horrible. I’ve heard more complaints and arguments between employees at that register every single time I go through that lane. This seems to be worse in the evening hours.
I am a customer and don’t care who you hate to work with or how much so and so you have problems with.
I also don’t care where you went last night and what you did with who ! The cursing at that register is a horrible display of management. The employee’s need to move their complaints away from customers.
Perhaps, the store manager should move the CSM station to an area AWAY from customers.
Also, the deli is always a ghost town. I have to go through the doors to find someone in back for lunch meat. This shouldn’t happen ever. Someone needs to be there at all times. A smile would be nice as well.
So, all in all things are moving along. Just a few major things need to be changed.
The greeters are also very nice. (forgot to mention them). I will review again in a few months.
Great job on the changes that have taken place. It’s definitely not the mess I walked into almost 3 years ago!

Worst Walmart! Seems Walmart hires the most unprofessional and uneducated people. I don’t even want to waste time writing my experience. Simply go to Target. You get what you pay for!

LORD, do i hate walmarts. my first encounter with this particular horrid store is when i went to pick up photo prints, and got a first hand account of the aftermath of an employee fighting a thief who escaped in the getaway car. but she did get her purse. and they didnt have my prints. i just went there last night because i needed a headband to keep my hair out of my face. i hate walmart. i hate mcdonalds. i do not eat mcdonalds. i only go to mcdonalds to pick up others food. and i thought, why am i shopping at walmart for me, but i wont shop at mcdonalds for me. i went in anyway. blocking the entrance was an employee smoking. lovely welcome. as i walked in, he and his friend who had to be 7 years my junior eyed me. eww, they also may have been high but i have no proof. i walk to the lady at the dressing room counter and ask her where are the headbands, she is on her phone. now i must be jealous. because if i smoked, my job would not allow me to smoke in the entrance of their establishment where customers are aplenty and have my phone out on company time. im especially jealous about the phone part. as i searched, those 2 boys eyed me again. usually that wouldnt bother me, but this being walmart… i found their measly selection of headbands and came to my senses. i would much rather have a sloppy, messy ponytail then give this horrible corporation my money. so i walked out
this walmart is not the worse. that may go to the one in chicago on doty avenue. although i didnt get into an argument with an employee at this one like i did at the walmart in crestwood. the ONLY thing walmart as a whole has going for it is its hours and their cheap prints. anything else, i will gladly pay a higher price to not have a heavy heart.

Lines sucks here, site to store is just horrible been coming here for two days trying to pick my stuff up and they still don’t have it.

In general obviously Walmart does have the lowest prices. this location however never has anything I personally need in stock, never have my kids sizes, and. never has pulls up in stock as well. there produce is disgusting and never fresh. Rude employees but the managers are not even better themselves. I rather drive another 20 mins to a different Walmart that actually has stuff in
your local mom n pop store if you ask me!

OMG! NEVER SITE TO STORE at this location. After saying that my ores would be ready on the 1^st of December, I actually waited until the 2^nd to go pick it up. I was told on the 2^nd that it wasn’t ready, even allowed them to repeat the same on the 3^rd. But on the 4^th, I called the store at 8am to be told that bc it wasn’t ready, they could pull it off of the floor & give it to me. That was a LIE, I arrived @ 1 pm & didn’t leave until 5. With no package. I am SO irritated & disgusted I won’t even get into detail. But if you’re ever in that store I hope Christine is your «site to store» cashier & Michael is the assistant manager to assist you. Because every other person is just a waste of space wearing matching uniforms. It is sad that ppl want $ 15 an hour & don’t work to keep the $ 9 they already get. This walmart is a good example for that.

Never stocked. Always dirty. Rude employees. Parking lot setup sucks too! Wish a Target would open up inn the area.

It was early one morning and I needed to pick up some supplies for the day. I found the store to not be to crowded but it seemed like most of the employees were not really too interested in helping me find anything but otherwise the place has plenty of options. I can’t imagine what the place gets like later in the day but for that day I didn’t have any problems.

I had to update because I was stuck visiting this Walmart again the other day for a late night «hey Mom I forgot I need this for camp — tomorrow» trip.
Walking around with my son looking for the few things I needed to grab for him I was «cut off» by 3 ON DUTY IN UNIFORM Walmart employees. One of them actually huffed at me as if I shouldn’t have been in his way.
I’d rather pay too much for my toilet paper than shop here. This location, it’s management and employees are BEYOND AWFUL.

I agree with Bob P., this Walmart does not restock their merchandise. It’s horrible. I rather travel a little more and shop at Target. So disappointing.

This Walmart didn’t take long to go bad. The biggest problem since I first reviewed them is they don’t restock their merchandise. You’ll find lots of shelves/​racks/​etc empty. I’ll give them one more try at a later date.

I just visited this Walmart recently before heading over to the casino. It is nice and big and has ample parking space, and movement to walk around without colliding into other carts. However, I was on a mission to find three things. Colossal mascara in glam black (non waterproof) and two face washes one by st ives, and the other by biore. I walked into the hygiene products section and it was a complete mess! I had to dig through a ton of rubble to find what I was looking for only to find out that they didn’t have any of my three products in stock.
I did notice this Walmart is about two dollars cheaper than the ones in IL, and only charges 7% tax. I will be coming back only for those two reasons alone.

Tire Department: Horrible service! Went in for a leaking tire, left with a leaking tire! Guy says he sprayed water on the tire and didn’t find any bubbles so that means its good. Explained several times that it has been going completely flat for weeks he gave me a blank stare. Frustrated and tired of arguing i just left figuring this guy probably has no clue how to fix a tire anyway so i’m probably better off. Next day, guess what, flat tire? Later i realized what the problem was. I brought the car in at 5:30pm. They close at 6:00pm. Probably had somewhere better to be.
